The hotel is not 5 star. The rooms are tired and smell musty when you used the air conditioning. The pool is nice, but has very limited seating. The spa is ok with separate sauna and steam for men and women. The spa services are pricey, but no more than you would expect in a hotel. The main issue is the noise. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. It’s right next to the train tracks and the trains hoot all day and night - but that is not the hotels fault. What is the hotels fault is that the restaurant at the top of the hotel plays banging house music until 11.30 at night…and as we are on the 26th floor (two floors away) our room is like a club - literally shaking with the bass…not ok for a hotel that calls itself five star. The ground floor bar also plays deafening music..go if you want a party, not if you want a nice cocktail or a glass of wine. On the plus side lots of the staff are lovely (name check for Ashook from guest services / housekeeping - lovely man). Overall it’s fine, but you could find better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at The Lalit New Delhi We stayed at The Lalit New Delhi during our visit to Delhi for the Delhi Gem & Jewellery Show, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a very welcoming ambience. Our room was neat, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and we were particularly impressed with the service. We also received our room on time, which made our arrival very smooth and comfortable. The breakfast experience deserves a special mention. The food selection was very good and the overall breakfast was enjoyable. The only small concern was that the staff seemed a little stretched during busy hours, so at times our orders took slightly longer than expected. Apart from this minor point, everything was excellent. The hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience made our stay truly enjoyable. A very good property in New Delhi, and definitely a place I would be happy to stay at again. Highly recommended! ⭐️ 5/5
My first time in India with my wife, we wanted to stay somewhere centrally located with easy access to all the things. The location is great to get around the city, we had the ability to walk if we wanted and get a quick ride somewhere too with ease. The breakfast was also great. Great variety and service each time we went. Staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was a delight. There was even an art museum on one of the floors to check out.
Great stay and awesome food! The overall experience was comfortable and truly enjoyable. A special thanks to Sahil from Room Service for making our stay feel luxurious with his excellent service, prompt response, and no delays. We really appreciated his professionalism and attention. Thanks also to Lalit and the entire staff for their warm hospitality and great service. Highly appreciated and recommended!
I stayed in an Executive Suite for a week. The hotel is in a great location a few minutes walk from Connaught Place where there are many shops, cafes and bars. The room was huge with a massive marble bathroom, lounge complete with wooden floors, sofa, desk and chairs etc. Lots of light and good air conditioning. Room food/drinks service was efficient, room cleaning was very good, newspapers were delivered every day and amenities such as shampoo/conditioner were well chosen. The food at breakfast was good and extensive although repetitive and more effort needs to be made to vary the menu. The drinks in the bar were nice and the Happy Hour was appreciated. Cakes in the cake shop were excellent and reasonably priced. The evening buffet was vast and of good quality. The swimming pool and gym are ok, although rather small. Overall, this is an excellent hotel with great rooms, good food and a wonderful location. It’s a very good place to stay in New Delhi.
