The Ashok

Stay was quite comforting and luxurious, but we had trouble while confirming the booking at reception as we did booking from booking.com. Rooms were large and spacious but the bathroom was small. Due to its very large property locating rooms and shops were little difficult. Overall the stay, food and service was applauding.

I recently stayed at The Ashok, and while the hotel has a great location, spacious rooms, and courteous staff, my experience was mixed. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The AC in our first room was not cooling properly, so we requested a room change. The staff responded promptly and provided another room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the AC in the second room had the same problem, making the stay quite uncomfortable. I was also disappointed that the complimentary beverages and cakes mentioned as part of the stay were not served. Small touches like these make a difference, especially at a five-star hotel. While the staff were polite and tried to help, I hope the hotel improves its room maintenance and ensures that promised amenities are consistently provided. With better attention to these details, the overall experience would be much better.

A truly luxurious venue for business events! Attended the 2nd CII GCC Business Summit here and came away thoroughly impressed with The Ashok. The property exudes old-world grandeur from the moment u drive up through the tree-lined approach, u get a sense of the scale &heritage of the place. The conference hall was spacious, bright & beautifully ventilated a big plus when you're sitting through back-to-back sessions for hours. The AV setup, lighting & stage design were top notch, clearly built for high-profile business events. What stood out most was the ambience: a rich, cozy character that manages to feel warm n inviting despite the grand scale of the property. The staff were exceptionally attentive throughout, quick to assist & always courteous. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The grounds are lush & well maintained.... the overall infrastructure like the parking, access roads, security was well organized, which matters a lot for events with this kind of footfall. Overall, a fantastic venue for hosting large-scale conferences and summits. Highly recommend The Ashok for anyone looking to host a business event with a touch of grandeur and genuine hospitality!

Right in the middle of New Delhi. Offices and business district close by. 70 year old legacy property. Renovations largely done. Old world charm wooden floors and bath tubs. Lovely swimming pool. Lavish breakfast with some amazing bakery stuff from their very own oven.
