Bay of Fundy Shore Tours exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, Steve, was absolutely hilarious, friendly, and entertaining. He even plays Santa Claus during Christmas, which makes perfect sense given his fun personality. My kids absolutely loved him! We visited a beautiful lighthouse, stopped in St. Martin for delicious lobster rolls and donair burgers, explored the Bay of Fundy beach, visited a brewery, and saw the famous Reversing Falls Rapids. One of the biggest highlights was getting to see a moose! Steve made every stop interesting and kept the whole family entertained throughout the tour. We got to experience so much in one day, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend Bay of Fundy Shore Tours, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Steve as your guide!

Highly recommend this tour, especially with Abdul. Our ship arrived late to port so Abdul modified itinerary to ensure we saw the reversing falls in both directions. He also made sure we didn’t miss any of the other planned sites with this modification. He is entertaining and knowledgeable. We had some great conversations about history and changes. Very informative. My only suggestion - at one point the group was asked if they wanted to skip a site due to the late arrival. Luckily we spoke up to ensure we saw it all but I was surprised at how many people wanted to skip a planned stop?!?! One extra special moment was Abdul dropped us off at Moosehead Brewery, not part of the tour but on the way back to ship, and arranged for a ride home! Above and beyond!

We toured Saint John and up to the Bay of Fundy on a day tour with Shore Tours in the fall of 2026. Our guide "Steady Eddie" was excellent. There was an issue with the bus we were on, and the company quickly provided a new bus and we completed our day's tour without any significant deviation (we were on a cruise and had booked this ourselves). The guide had endless stories and insights about life in St. John and we really enjoyed the day, including seeing the "reversing falls" in both directions. Excellent and a great value!

A thoroughly enjoyable day. After a bit of confusion at the start (two cruise ships in town disembarking at the same time), the tour rolled seamlessly throughout the rest of the day. Our guide, Abdul, was organized, courteous and full of information that he shared generously. He clearly saw the tour through the eyes of his guests, and it made a difference. Don’t miss the terrific seafood restaurant at St Martin!

Fantastic Bay of Fundy tour with Shore Tours, St John NB. We experienced a one of a kind tour with driver/tour guide, Steve. He was personable, informative, and hilarious! It wasn’t your typical boring tour. The tour was on a smaller bus. Steve made multiple stops to see many sights which we probably wouldn’t have had a chance to see had we been on a larger tour bus. Steve offered to take photos of our group, and gave us multiple opportunities to take pictures. We were able to see where the Bay of Fundy meets the St John River twice - once at the beginning of the tour and again at the end. We also stopped to see the Bay of Fundy at various points along the coastline. The tour included a stop for lunch, caves of St Martin, and drive through downtown St John. If you’re interested in seeing the Bay of Fundy, I highly recommend booking the Bay of Fundy tour with Shore Tours, and ask for driver, Steve.

We enjoyed our day with Eddie. He was very attentive and gave us the full tour and experience. He included everyone and taught us all about Saint John and Saint Martains!

I really wanna start by saying steady Eddie was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond. Steady Eddie came prepared with boots, didn’t take a break the entire time, made us feel like absolute royalty, he moved the car up for us made it very convenient. We will never forget steady Eddie in the fact that he was very informative and told us the history of Canada completely. If you want someone with high energy and someone who will continuously tell you anything you wanna know he is the one to go to. Ten out of ten highly recommended! Thank you so much!

Steve was an excellent tour guide. He showed us the highlights of the Bay of Funday. His love for his hometown was contagious. We had a great time!

We did the Bay of Fundy tour from a cruise ship and found it to be flawless. The guide was funny and informative, as was the driver. We went out of town for 8 hours, and went to St. Michaels for the day. We saw about everything there was to see. They picked us up at the ship, and returned us there.

Nice and easy tour. Our fearless leader Steve was very knowledgeable & entertaining. Steve took the group to The Cave for delicious lunch👍👍👍

We were with Steve, a local St Martin character. It was an eclectic, informal tour on a smaller bus, which we like. Steve is a colorful individual, known around the area, besides a tour guide, as Santa Claus, Father Christmas and also a very formidable-looking pirate captain. He has photographs, taken with Royalty and 'A'-list celebrities going back decades. Being a seasoned tour guide, he got us to 'The Caves' restaurant 20 minutes before the massive crowds arrived. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for something more agile than a 53 person bus, with some entertaining stories to go with it.

Steve is a native local to Saint John. He was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! He’s was very careful to make sure we arrived back in time to board our cruise ship. Very enjoyable tour!

We are three couples (60-70’s) that took a private van tour. We booked outside of the cruise ship we were on and experienced excellent customer service! We visited many sites, i.e. Reversing Falls, Bay of Fundy, Moosehead Brewery and beautiful scenery! Never felt rushed and Abdul was very knowledgeable and flexible to making sure we had a great time! Highly recommend!

Great way to see Bay of Fundy. We had an amazing tour guide and got to see the beautiful city. Guides were right outside the ship waiting for us. I highly recommend that you reach out a few days before your trip to confirm pick up time because it was vague with the confirmation. My only hesitation giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because our private vehicle was dirty inside. There was some trash and the seats were not clean. Our van also had some mechanical issues where the brakes seemed to be overheating.

We had the best tour guide, Mila! She took us to places any big tour bus wouldn’t. We got to see the water going forwards and then she brought us back later to see it going the opposite way. Mila gave us so much great information along the way. The car was super clean. We liked the microphone she used so we could hear in the back seat. She even had water and treats for us.

Steve is an excellent driver full of energy and an excellent guide The trip was very interesting and we will remember the trip and Steve many years

Such a great tour! We got on last minute due to a mix up with another tour and it was the best mistake! Steve was a great guide! Small bus so was able to go to the smaller private look out places that big buses couldn’t! Loved the tour!! Would do it again!!!

Very interested and a nice way to see the area in a comfortable small van/bus. Tour guide was very informative and showed us many things, with ample time to view and take pictures.

Abdul and his assistant great! Very informative and took the time to explain the views, history, and attractions to us. Loved the speaker system on the van so we all could hear the explanations. Very accommodating. We came to St John by cruise ship. And he was by the port waiting for us. Highly recommend them!

We took a tour with Steve from shore tours in St. John’s New Brunswick. He was absolutely fabulous. Great sense of humor. The three of us had a fabulous time would highly recommend.

We arrived on the Enchanted Princess cruise ship. Our tour time was 8am to 8pm. As all the people on the tour were from the ship, we should all have been given the same time, say 10 am. Having found our tour we had to wait for the last people to arrive. It was very foggy. Our driver and guide was Steve. He is really funny. He would say things like, “look to your left to see the 4 churches of Saint John.” We’d look to our left to see only fog! We stopped for lunch adjacent to caves, and a restaurant serving the most amazing chowder. As the day progressed the fog lifted and we had an enjoyable trip. Not only is Steve knowledgeable, he made the trip. Everybody warmed to him.

Our tour guide Steve left a lasting impression. This was by far the best tour I’ve experienced. To put it simply, his knowledge, passion and sense of humour made our tour unforgettable. Anyone going to the Bay of Fundy should request Steve! Thank you so much for an amazing day!

Our tour guide Steve Stein was an amazing host! He was very personable, knowledgeable, funny and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and could enjoy as much as possible!

As a travel advisor, I can honestly say I would have been horrified if I would have booked this tour for a client. It was a classic bait and switch. My concerns began the day prior to our tour as a meeting time had not been arranged. I tried many times to reach this tour operator via text and whatsapp only to receive no reply. We finally heard back the at 8am the morning of the tour stating only "we are outside". Our tour guide spoke poor English and had zero knowledge of the places that we visited. He was nothing more than a taxi driver that this company hired for the day. We did visit (ALMOST) all of the sites that are listed for this tour, but the driver knew nothing about the places that we visited, nor did he have any knowledge of the general area. There were also safety concerns about the vehicle, namely non-functional seat belts. For the cost of this tour, I cannot recommend this company.

Our tour guide, Maila, was phenomenal! Our group of six was treated to an exceptional day with her. We were able to visit sites ahead of big tour buses..and go to some places that the big buses cannot go.

Seeing St Martin and reversing rapids My only complaint is that we scheduled 2 six passenger vehicle and the company asked if they could do one 12 passenger vehicle and our party was placed in a 32 passenger vehicle. We really wanted a more private experience

We had a great time at the seacaves at St. Martins and the harbor. Our driver made our excursion custom made. We saw the historic sides in Saint John.

Our guide Maila, toured the 6 of us in a comfortable van. She made us feel more like guests than tourists. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Because we were a small group, she was able to make more stops. Because of Maila, our group decided this was the best experience we had on our weeklong trip. We highly recommend this tour. You'll be lucky to get Maila as a guide.

Steady Eddy( Edgar) was our guide. He managed our timetable very well and we got to see the impact of the high and low tide. We saw lovely old homes, caves , reversible falls and heard many local stories. The four of us had a very nice day . We were not pushed to walk too far which we as seniors appreciated. Well done tour.

We were on a cruise porting in to St. John and met Steve by happens chance getting off the boat. We debated going on the tour but by the end of the day, we were so glad we did. Steve showed us the most extraordinary views of the Bay of Fundy in areas I’m certain only a very small number of tourists from a cruise get to see. Steve was fun, informative, and engaging and made our stop in St. John very memorable. If you get an opportunity to take a tour with Steve, take it…better yet, book the tour with him in advance

My family and I had a great time with our guide, Abdul (who is also an amazing individual). We chose the “Lite” version of the tour, as we had two young children and two elderly members in our group, but Abdul was able to fill our time with incredible scenic views and interesting knowledge about Saint John and Saint Martins. Extremely courteous and professional. I recommend them without hesitation!

Bring your camera for the mind blowing scenery at each stop. Guides were fully versed in the history and natural reality of the Bay of Fundy.

Your guides lacked English language skills and lacked knowledge of the history of the area.They had a single minivan for a party of 10.

Our tour guide was Steve. He was a funny, fantastic, crazy guy!! Surprised us at each stop! (not going to spoil what he did, you will have to find our for yourself!!) But it definitely added to our experience! Our mini bus had a little mechanical trouble half way through our tour. Abdul, the owner quickly resolved the issue, by sending his mechanics and a mini van for us to complete our tour in.

We had the three hour tour with Abdul and it was fantastic. He made all the effort to keep the tour fun.

Keith the driver was great, but he was told to pick us up, but not told what we were doing! But You are told this is a private tour in a van. It is a taxi and a minivan. Three of the seats are third row which is about impossible for adults to get out of. We had 4 adults and two children. We finally just did drive-bys, too painfull to get out and in. One of the main stops, Standing Rock, toppled over a year ago. They did not know, though it is still advertised on the Viator site. So we did not go. Not worth the time or money. Keith we love you though!

We had a three hour tour with Shore Tours of Saint John and Saint Martin NB our guide/driver Abdul was excellent, he was very informative entertaining and patient with us. He even stopped on the drive to our destinations to allow us to take photos of the fall leaves. If you are ever in Saint John New Brunswick and want the best tour look up Shore Tours and ask for Abdul.

I had a private tour booked for my family when visiting New Brunswick, and it was absolutely wonderful! Maila showed us the beauty NB had to offer, and was very knowledgeable about all of sites we visited. Our favorites were the wonders of Reversing falls, historic sites in Saint John, and St. Martins sea caves. She was very patient with us as we explored all the locations, and even took some family photos for us. I could not have asked for a better tour guide. Thanks so much, and highly recommend them!!
