The room we got was rather large and had a great view of the harbor. It was within walking distance to lots of shops and a theatre and had plenty of heated parking. On negative was that they had private events happening right between the elevator and the exit which made it a little awkward because we had to walk through their buffet line to get out.

Great view but rooms need updating and towels are rough and should be replaced. The lady at front desk was not very friendly and I had to ask for my 2 bottles of water and never recognized we were gold hilton honors members. The guy at front desk was very nice and made up for his coworker's attitude.
First some positives - the hotel had all the essential amenities you would expect. All the employees I’ve connected with were all very professional and friendly. However there are some issues with this hotel. It is in desperate need of a renovation. The style is extremely dated, the windows clearly are not sealed properly so they fog up completely obscuring the view of the ocean. Hallways between rooms were oddly dark and dingy. Food is OK. For some reason they were fully booked and could not accommodate a request for a room change because I got a connecting room where I could hear everything my neighbour was going - watching TV, on the phone, coughing, etc. Overall, an average hotel but not sure it matches a Hilton quality.
First - THE STAFF WERE FABULOUS!! My 1st room had absolutely zero visibility or view due to windows being 100% covered in dirt and condensation on the outside (I paid extra for a view) and the room had a strong very musty smell. They offered a free breakfast but I said no. The second room was better, although maintenance had to repair a broken toilet. The wallpaper was peeling off some of the walls and the vinyl coating on the headboard was peeling off. No laundry on hotel site despite website stating so - laundry could be sent out in the morning at $ per pound plus $20 delivery for return later that night (that is pretty expensive for one load of laundry!). Hotel charged a $75 security deposit PER NIGHT ($450 in my case). The guide button on the TV did not work. I called desk for help to use the remote and was advised they didn’t have a TV package for guide use. I asked about the Pay Per View and Movies on Demand as advertised on the website - I was told they didn’t have that either. Parking was $25 per nite but it was not at the hotel. I booked this hotel for specific amenities due to a month long travel in the Maritimes. Very disappointed!! I would not recommend this hotel!
Very nice staff. Room was clean but dated. No hand soap in the bathroom. The location is perfect for going to the market and restaurants. Pool was nice but no stairs to get in. Not the best area for young children. Didn't try the food, dinner menu is quite limited. Overall I would stay at a different property the next time I visit that area. The major issue was the view. The glass is old and moisture builds up on the windows so I could only see out thru the smaller side window.
