An old bus crammed full of fellow tourists trying the bars in Negril, frequented initially by locals then onto the more tourist orientated. You finish with a sunset view from the Negril cliffs before a sing-song as you return to your hotel. A great few hours out!
Our tour guide was awesome! He had the best energy, was friendly and played reggae and American music during our bar crawl to hype us up. He took us to all local bars and made sure we felt safe and had a good time. I will warn you that the bus is very worn, it rained and it leaked in a couple of places on some people but we still had a great time! Also they will pack you in that bus like sardines! Three people had to stand bc there were not enough seats for everyone. But for the price, It’s a trade off and still so worth it. At some of the bars, you will see children running up to you and a lot of people gave them pre-made candy bags and they were extremely thankful. We didn’t come prepared like that, but we did give Jamaican dollars to the kids and they were equally as happy. There isn’t a spot specifically stopped at for food, so just make sure that you do eat some finger foods at a couple of the bars otherwise you’re not going to get back in really late and six hours with no food and all the drinks is a disaster waiting to happen. I would absolutely book this tour again! I just wish I remembered our drivers name (also bring American or Jamaican dollars to tip him as well)
Great experience with Lenbert getting to visit and support local businesses . Nice pace, not feeling rushed and no big crowds. We will do this again on our next trip!
Yes, it was fun but it stopped at six places and that made it seem rushed. It was not inexpensive so bring lots of cash. The first stop had kids in the courtyard so be nice and bring sweets or trinkets for them.
This is the second time we have taken this trip! The trip shows as only lasting an hour and a half when it actually lasted six hours, Lenbert has found many new bars to take you several of which are in off the main road locations. Don’t miss this trip if you want to see some real locals and enjoy the new loudspeaker on the bus!
Very fun experience and a friendly driver too highly recommend would definitely do it again well worth the money
You have to be aware that the weather can impact the experience. We got severe rain at one venue that was outside.
This as to be by far one of the best experiences ever. For anyone who hasn’t done this you need to it’s excellent value for the money the driver was getting into the swing joining in the singing dance along the way. It’s a good way to see an visit some of the true culture of Jamaica with the locals.
We had an amazing time in this bus, so much fun. Just so it. You meet people from all over the world ❤️
Fantastic experience!!! Great bars and best bus driver around
Absolutely great the bus turned up interesting very rustic but the driver was good we did several stops around 5 hours give or take
Do not be put off by the bus that arrives to pick you up. Despite the door not closing and the seats being a little loose in places this is a fantastic trip. It's a slow start but after a few beers and a couple of hiccups along the way, this really does develop into a great afternoon/evening. Some great bars along the way and a good old sing song too.
This was so fun! Me and my boyfriend had a great time. The tour driver and his helper were very nice and we.loved all the bars we went to. Definitely a great and fun excursion!
Great trip all together will do again
A fantastic discovery! This tour exceeded my expectations—it was deeply authentic and totally free of tourist traps. A huge thank you to the team for an unforgettable time!
Affordable trip, luxurious views, unforgettable bars, and courteous safe driver. An experience to be treasured. Don’t hesitate. Book the trip. You won’t be disappointed.
It will be a wonderful experience not only for the bar hopping and the drinks. You'll also get a look at the rest of Negril not just your hotel. Interact with real citizens that give you the real real on Jamaica and not the resort spill..
Great experience meeting with locals an enjoying some drinks including and beautiful ocean views and country side.
A must do trip in Negril. Fabulous host, great photo opportunities, meet new people & drink rum - what’s not to love?
The driver and his son picked us up at our resort and took us to 6 or so bars/restaurants around Negril. At each spot, he told us what to look for or what made the stop special. You could just have a drink, or you could strike up a convo with some local folk - sometimes they were characters. No matter what, the point is to get a little local vibe and support the economy outside the resorts. In that vein, if you take this trip, be sure to bring cash because most bars don’t take credit cards. Also a good idea to make it small bills so you can spread the wealth beyond just buying a drink! Highly recommend.
Was around 5 hours was some pretty views but way overbooked seating on bus. Allows kids and one stop doesn’t allow kids. Should just say no kid pub crawl so people know. Two bars are nice but a couple weren’t but drinks were pricy. Also had to stop ATM for people so know you must bring money cash when you go before getting on the bus. Some people held up stops too. Was some pretty cave and cliff views but wouldn’t book a 2nd one.
Overall it was a great experience. Not sure if there are certain bars we tour, but more stops that have food would be great. Over all it was an experience that I will be doing again in the furniture when I come back. The people we traveled with were great and the driver/guide was very helpful.
The first day they didn’t know we schedule but i called to reschedule to the next day and that was perfect for the both I waited a hour on them at the front then called to see and he said they had problems with the van and now saturday we haven’t heard anything I want my money back and have no clue on how to get a refund for the no show for two days
Great experience in Negril Jamaica. We wanted a chill activity to do so we could leave our resort and this was perfect. It was a great way to explore the island, meet other travelers and the locals. They took us to all types of bars, a cool coffee spot, nice beach view restaurants with some elements of surprises which was awesome because I don’t drink much. The bus was a little overpacked so it was hard to have comfortable space to sit but overall it was a good find and pastime.
If you like to drink you may like it. At every stop stays for about 50min so be prepared. A swimsuit is an excellent idea to but the hit. You don’t have to drink every stop.
If you like a few drinks and want to get out of your resort and see a bit of the real Jamaica don’t hesitate to book! It’s a brilliant afternoon out.
This tour allows you to see local places that you likely wouldn't otherwise see. It is not guided and there isn't much participation from the driver and the time spent at each bar varies based on the group. Our tour went long (5.5 hours from pickup to dropoff) and after stop 4 , half the bus would get off, take a photo, and get back on the bus. Recommendation: carve out your entire afternoon for it and bring snacks - there is no stops for food or recommendations on food along the way. It is basically a driver, not a tour. We had fun but 9/10 wouldn't book again.
Whah Gwan! My husband and I first took the tour 11 years ago and again in mid May. Both times did not disappoint! Lembert, driver and owner, took us to 7 different local bars we would have never gone to or found on our own. It was so cool to experience the different bars especially all those on the water. While we were watching the sunset I had a great conversation with three locals. Now there were a couple times I was a little annoyed but it didn't ruin my overall experience. Several different cliff diving kids kept asking for (more) money over and over. Finally Lembert told them to leave me alone and they immediately stopped. Then at the first bar a guy forcibly took my arm and tied a handmade bracelet on my wrist ($5.00 please). On the way back to our respective resorts Lembert turned up the tunes and we all sang and danced along. Good times! Please note the tour is FREE (if anyone tries to charge you upfront it's a scam). But with that said please try to buy a drink (s) at each location to help the local economy. And don't forget to tip Lembert at the end for his services!
It's a progressive trip. You begin at several rustic bars where you will need much cash for the locals offering to do almost anything for you. You proceed to establishments that gradually get more refined, yet all have that distinctive local flair. It's ultimately great fun, meeting fellow travelers and seeing local spots. Our driver was very capable but not overly sociable, considering the wonderful friendliness of most locals.
Booked on Facebook after all the great reviews Started ok we were told we were stopping at 6-7 bars first bar was the engine oil sports bar there was about 17 people on the bus pulled up straight in to bar was not bat priced few Americans were giving the kids gifts as his grandsons. Stopped for half hour or so went to next one think it was someone's house couple of kids asking for dollars then we were all talking saying think LENBERT just took us there to all the bars where he knows that this happens the third stop was amazing nice hotel with cliffs and caves you can look at NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GOES WRONG All the bars was kids asking for dollars all the time Took us to the next stop it was another hotel what was closed for a private function A WEDDING lenbert left us for a hour without been able to get a drink we tried calling him to come back but he went to do a school run ao we were sat there like lemons when he came back then to be told he's going to FINISH THE TOUR early for family emergency 🤔 Think he known he's messed up alot of people not happy at all he then said we could have a free day on next day with no refund for people We were lucky he did not take our payment
They take you to small tavern to start with, then the last ones are along the ocean and very beautiful.
Great bars visited, great charavters on the bus and off it. rocking by the end of the trip but a good time. would never see thisside of negril otherwise. if you like a beer, mixing with others dothis tour.
The Best man on Earth!! A Vibe plus 99
Great day out . Some lovely bars and very authentic. Lovely views from some of them . Great experience to meet people and have a laugh. Loved watching the local boys jumping in the sea from the cliffs
Bus can get very full! All squashed in, but adds to the fun! Take plenty of small bills with you to hand out to the children you will meet. They will pester you for money, give one, expect a queue of 10 to form behind! Some older kids were a bit more pushy, jumping off cliffs at the bars where we stopped, then asking for money for their "show". The bars were amazing, from single shacks in the countryside, to posh beach side with amazing views. Have been on this trip 3 times now, and different ones added.A very rustic and authentic experience away from your resort.
This was so much fun! If you are looking for something to do with your day i would absolutely reccomend! You meet great people and see places you wouldn’t really go on your own! I will say I feel the bars all overcharged us for every drink so be prepared for that but other than that we had a blast!
It gave us a chance to see the real Negril and experience local bars, cliff top and caves
We booked this with pick up from our hotel, it was not on the list but could be typed in. I emailed them several days before to ensure we would be picked up and to confirm the time but got no response until the day of the trip. They contacted me to say they did not pick up from our hotel and that I needed to make my own way into Negril. I have requested a refund but seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
Wonderful experience . I had fun
Best pub crawl in Negril, it is a must. Our tour guide was brilliant the music was pumping.... this guy was fantastic.
Lembert was a good driver and the passengers were a really fun group but me and my family were disappointed with the bars we visited. Apart from one the others were small coastal inns/hotels - not places we were likely to meet the local community. I had hoped to get a feel for the real Jamaica, unfortunately that didn't happen.
We was in negril for a wedding so went on the trip for a stag n hen party , it did not disappoint us , first bar was the worse all they wanted was cash but after that it was great fun . We went to some great places ended up at a bar where we had a fantastic sunset
One Love Bus Bar Crawl was an absolutely extraordinary experience ! It was definitely some of the most fun that I have had in Jamaica. The tour guide was amazing and chose so many unique and beautiful spots. At each place, aside from the gorgeous views, we also encountered many locals with the most beautiful and welcoming souls. Traveling to each place was an incredible vibe, with a warm breeze coming through the windows, the most perfect playlist on the radio, and the most fun and outgoing group of people beside me. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to truly enjoy themselves and experience the otherworldly essence of Negril !
This is our favorite tour in Jamaica. Each time the experience is different and a lot of fun. Highly recommend this to everyone traveling to the area.
So much fun and lots of nice views. My top bar was the one with the cave. At one of these bars there was some sweet kids that we played football with. I will always remember those kids. I don’t want to type too much so much look at all the photos!
A must do experience if in Negril! Lenbert picks you up from your hotel in his party bus. Visit 6-7 local bars off the beaten track. Some even in caves. Finish off at a bar with stunning views to watch the sunset. Great to get out and see the real Negril and definitely a highlight of our holiday. Met some great people & had lots of fun! Take gifts for the local children the smiles on their faces are priceless!
We had a great time and certainly saw parts of Negril we wouldn't have got to. Visited a variety of bars from standard tourist fare to a couple that could only be described as dives. We were well gone by the time we got back to the hotel.
It was a blast, met some new people and saw some amazing sights. Shane our bus driver was amazing!! Definitely a must.
Lovely people and fellow travellers, however, not much choice of drinks if you don’t like beer! Poor bar service for the amount of guests and quite expensive… One bar worker just ignored me (middle aged woman) and served the younger guests, so I just gave up!
