We had a great time snorkeling with Jace and Deante. Jace was super welcoming and gave us great insight into Jamaican culture. His smile and kindness were infectious. Deante was a wonderful guide, knowing all the best spots to see sea life and then taking sweet care of our daughter when she started feeling unwell. We really appreciated that he is a certified lifeguard. They are a great duo!

This was the best experience we had in Jamaica, the two guys who took us out were fantastic, they were great fun had us smiling all afternoon, the snorkeling is great but the food was out of this world, the chef cooked us the best lobster and jerk chicken we had all holiday, would totally recommend this company.

They took their time to let you go at your own pace, pointed out the anchor, cannon, and reef and even provided a fresh from the ocean lunch - which we were not expecting. Captain Jace was so kind and answered me after hours to book my family for a glass bottom boat reef tour. Demoy and Tippy were our guide and captain and they were so fun! A fantastic experience that we 10/10 recommend! Pickup was easy, straight from the beach in front of our resort, and our guide was funny, friendly, and extremely knowledgable in the water. Great trip this morning with Capt Jace’s crew. They were very accommodating to pick us up. We had our one year old with us and he had a wonderful time looking through the glass and playing with everyone. He even got to see a starfish up close! Highly recommend, we will be back to do a longer cruise with them!

Super friendly .. casual, low key experience. Multiple reefs toured .. including the standard Cannon and Anchor. Guides dove down and brought back up various sea creatures to inspect up close. After snorkeling the reefs ... we enjoyed a narrated tour of the coast, past Bloody Bay and beyond.

Our family had a great time snorkeling with Capt. Jace’s crew. We were in the water in about 15 minutes and spent over an hour snorkeling around the reef. We saw a lot of beautiful fish, a sea slug, a conch, a sea turtle and a stingray. Then we took a relaxing tour up the coast line and back again. Definitely recommended.

One of the coolest experiences we have done! Guides were super helpful with teaching us how to use the equipment. It was sort of trial by fire, but once we got the hang of it exploring the reef was absolutely stunning!

Very helpful and accommodating. We went to the smaller reef but there's a larger one just a little further out that has more to see. We were told if you go to that one earlier in the day and get there by 8a or so, you might even see smaller reef sharks. But too many boats get out there by 10a so it's the noise that scares some marine life away. For the smaller reef we went to, our Skippie snorkeled around with us for a while to show us sea life we didn't even notice was there. A spiny starfish, conch, large sea cucumber and other cool creatures. A few of us even saw a small turtle swimming by. My mom is 81 so needed help in and out and wasn't going to be able to freely snorkel, but the Skipper helped her out and set her up so she could float around on her back while tethered to the boat. The Skipper and Skippie were both great and we'd recommend Jaces tours...they have other too.

Snorkeling excursion was AMAZING! We did a catamaran cruise last year and was very disappointed in the snorkeling experience. Captain Jace's guides were super friendly, got in the water with us & brought sea life to us to see/touch. We will definitely be using Captain Jace for future excursions!

Having already been to the see the cannon, we opted for a tour of the big reef and shallow reef. Both of which did not disappoint. Tour was relaxing and informative. We saw 2 Eagle Rays, a turtle, a squid, a lobster and plenty of colorful fish. It is no wonder why Captain Jace is number 1. It was our first time in Jamaica and I wanted to do some snorkeling! Listen! This experience was amazing because the crew was so nice and gave us a beautiful tour of coast line off negril 7 mile beach. I went snorkeling and dropped my go pro camera and one of the crew members retrieved it for me! Thank you so much! I enjoyed the drinks and snorkeling! We had such a phenomenal time we went snorkeling with Captain Jace 2 mornings in a row. Jace and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The first morning we snorkeled all over the reef and saw lots of different colored fish and huge sand dollars. The 2nd morning the water was not as smooth and we snorkeled outside the reef and saw a few eels , lots of bright fish and the turtle I was hoping to see. I highly recommend them for your adventure. Even if you have never snorkeled they will help you in the water .

I've been booking excursions through Viator for a few years now and given how OUTSTANDING my tour was with this company, I feel that I must write this review to encourage more people to check them out. Frankly speaking, if ten stars is the maximum on this platform, I'd ask to give them eleven. I'll briefly outline a couple reasons why my partner and I wholeheartedly believe that Captain Jace Tours went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember for a lifetime. We booked this tour through Viator, and though our hotel, Rockhouse, was not listed as one of their pickup spots, the company offered to pick us up and drop us off from Rockhouse free of charge. Our ride to the main reef took about 15 minutes, and the scenery was beautiful. Captain Raheem and First Mate Skipper kept us entertained the whole way. Not only were they very friendly and respectful, they were extremely knowledgable about the environment, its species, and had answers to almost every question we had in mind. We began snorkeling as soon as we arrived. Simply put, this was the highlight of our entire trip to Jamaica. We saw countless different types of fish, from snappers to puffer fish to sea cucumbers. We also saw starfish and small stingrays. Skipper was with us the whole time, stopping very frequently to explain what the different types of fish were and what to look out for. The tour was supposed to be two hours, but we ended up snorkeling for way longer than that. My partner and I both love the ocean, and we could not have asked for a better time. To anyone out there who is looking for a great snorkeling experience while also wanting to learn A LOT about the marine life here, we strongly encourage you to consider booking a tour with Captain Jace Tours.
