We have a very good experience and can only recommend this set up. The driver was reliable and helped us not only to get from one place to another, but also to arrange everything around the admissions, accommodation etc.

I spent two weeks in Sri Lanka with my daughter. The first part of our trip was spent sightseeing – we visited various monuments, waterfalls, temples, went on a safari and to the theater. We spent the last few days before departure at the beach. I think the decision to go to Sri Lanka and choose the Go2 travel agency was a great one. We had a driver, Lakshan, who was very reliable and extremely helpful in everything.

We traveled with Go Tours Lanka together with my mother and had a wonderful experience. The tour was very well organized and showed us the best of Sri Lanka. Our driver and guide, Lucksharn, was kind, professional, and always smiling. He made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the whole trip and was very flexible with the itinerary. We visited amazing places such as safari with elephants, Lion Rock (Sigiriya), waterfalls, and the botanical garden. We are a family with 11yo and 9yo kids. Lakshan was our driver/guide for the 8 days tour around Sri Lanka. He was very accommodating to our needs. He planned activities for each day and provided options that took into kids’ interests, so a good mix of cultural/historical/wildlife/swimming activities. I highly recommend the tour.

We had very good time in Sri Lanka. Our guide Savinda showed us famous places, life of local people and local food too. Savinda is able to resolve all problems and to ready fantastic programme. Amazing experience. Everything was planned very carefully and professionally. Thank God for our driver/guide Ruwan. He was so nice and friendly. It was a beautiful and memorable trip. I am so happy we did Sri Lanka. The views are spectacular and mesmerising with wonderful weather. The food was glorious. Our tour guide Mr Ruwan is very knowledgeable and showed us many interesting places sharing its history. During our road journey he shared Sri Lanka’s history and geography which is so interesting.

Our stay at The Heritance Tea Factory, Nuwara Eliya was the best part of our 8 days in Sri Lanka. Kandy was very memorable.....the cultural show was amazing, the colonial place we stayed in was excellent.. Our guide Ruwan was excellent.. He made it a very excellent and memorable holiday for my family. He was very knowledgeable, polite, cooperative, and with great initiative made our first trip to Sri Lanka a fantastic trip. We will definitely visit Sri Lanka again, and we will have Ruwan to guide us. Keep up the excellent work.

Amazing 8 day tour. Ruwan spoke excellent English, was flexible and had a great knowledge of the sites and was able to share fascinating stories about the history of the sites and Sri Lanka. The van he used had functioning seatbelts and he was a very safe driver. Always smiling, attentive and wanted to ensure we fell in love with his beautiful country. Was able to incorporate some nice walks at our request. Highly recommended.

With 3 friends we took a trip to Kandy, Nuwara Elija, Ella and Udawalawe National Park and also a train to Ella. So worth it! With driver Yasir encouraged us to see the show Kandyan Dance, he fulfilled ours requires and needs. He was always on time and very kind, helpful. The journey was worth it.

Great trip. We went on a short but intensive tour which included visiting Sigiriya Rock, Ambuluwawa Tower, scenic train trip to Ella, 9 arch bridge, Udawalawe Safari and other places. I sincerely recommend Sri Lanka Tour with Merin Niroshan. He is great driver, very kind and flexible. The ride itself was very pleasant.

I really recommend the trip. We had an opportunity make our own plan of our trip. We had 4 days trip. Our driver was special, we recommended Mr. Merin Niroshan. He has a very good and clean car with AC. He helped us with accomodation and took us to great restaurants.

Sri Lanka is an amazing country with so many things to see. We visited the major sites Columbo, Kandy, Lions Rock, Adams Peak, safaris, Tea plantations,the coast , major and small hidden temples and ruins, local food, everything was amazing. Ruwan as guide and driver was instrumental in making this once in a lifetime trip fantastic! His great English, sharing of culture, tourist insights and local knowedge was incrediable. Highly recommend him for solo and private tours of any size.

Sri Lanka is an amazing place full of great food, friendly people, and beautiful scenery. But what really enhances it is the services of a great guide. It was winderful time for us,wild animals,beautiful view,good food,nice and smiling people.Our quide Rowan was very heplfull and he Jaś a lot of information about Srilanka nature and history.

Our experience was absolutely amazing. Our driver/guide was Dammika. Dammika went above and beyond to make our stay in Sri Lanka as memorable as possible. He stopped along the route several times per day to show us animals, trees, buy local fruit, etc. He suggested minor alterations to the program which always turned out great. Dammika took us to the most amazing local restaurants, he knew the best local guides for tours where a guide is needed, etc. And on top of all, he was always on time. I highly recommend this tour, as it was perfectly put together. We saw so many beautiful sights, had so many awesome experiences and the best part: we did not waste our precious time on Sri Lanka by researching information, getting lost, getting scammed, etc. 10/10

We had a perfect holiday accompanied by the Go Tours Lanka, we traveled a large part of Sri Lanka with both guides, Dammika and later also with Ruwan. They are both just great! Very safe drivers (with very comfortable and spacious van), very reliable, friendly and caring. The tour with them is incredible, always professional, always on time, always smiling, with an excellent knowledge of SriLanka! Speaking great English. Truly wonderful tour of Sri Lanka with Ruwan our brilliant driver / guide. His knowledge of the country is unbelievable and conducts the tour in a very professional manner yet is very flexible to individual preferences. I spend the best holiday ever. As an alone traveller, I was little bit afraid as I made no planning in advance. However with a professional guide of Ruwan from Go Tours Sri Lanka and amazing support from delegate Věrka from GO2 travel agency, I really enjoyed the island. I got all informations I asked, doesnt matter if history, current situation of botanical names of the trees. The peek of the tour for me was half day I spent with elephant, walking next to him and washing him in the river. Breathtaking experience! I highly recommend both companies, especially Ruwan’s professional attitude and knowledge.

We enjoyed It very much. We saw the elephants near the road, leopard on Safari. Climbed up to Sighiria and we saw many other things and we have the best driver (guide, helper, friend. …) ever.

We chose Sri Lanka for our silver wedding anniversary celebration. It was a spontaneous decission although we had not considered this exotic destination before. In the beginning we should state that we could not choose better. We spent eight marvellous days travelling around the nice island, visiting interesting sites and meeting wonderful people. A special role in that paradise played our guide and driver Senarath. He was very helpful and creative companion caring for our contentment and safety. His driving skills in the Sri Lanka traffic are outstanding. Thanks to him we visited all planned sites and even some extras. We can recommend him as a guide to everybody who wish to experience Sri Lanka intensively and, in the same time, comfortably in few days. Now, we also wish him a successful study.

Following all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor, my parents and I settled on a private tour with this company. It lived up beyond our expectations! We were able to customized our tour from the very beginning to suit our interest. Our driver/guide Dammika is truly one of the best that we've encountered in our years of travel. He accompanied us from arrival at the airport til the last day of our trip. Throughout that time, he showed us around, explaining the history and highlighting things of interest. Although we conversed primarily in English in which he is fluent in, we discovered he is also fluent in several other languages! We always felt safe with Dammika although we also discovered Sri Lanka, itself, as a country has been misunderstood in Western media. Dammika is truly thoughtful as he learned our interests and offered suggestions/ additional activities to further customize the trip. He was so considerate in many ways. For instance, we noticed that he was the only driver who got out of their jeep when we arrived at the safari entrance to bring us to the public restroom which was a good five minute walk away in the dark (most guides simply pointed the direction to their guests). Towards the end of the trip, my mom caught a cold and, even after a week following our trip, my mom received a text message from Dammika asking how she felt. There are so many times that he went above and beyond for us. We had really wanted to take a train ride for Nuwara Eliya to Ella and, although the company attempted to reserve the moment the seats were on sale, the reservations were all full. Yet, Dammika managed to get us tickets on the day off and, with his suggestions on where to sit, we had a breath-taking train journey through the high mountain tea estates! Thank you so much Dammika!! You are truly one of the main reasons we've fallen in love with Sri Lanka. We would recommend you and GoTours Lanka to all our family and friends for their future trips to your lovely country!

We spent 8 days in Sri Lanka over Christmas and we loved the country. Started in Colombo and did a day trip to Galle and then back to Colombo and from there we did Sirigiya, Kandy, Eliya and Ella. Our driver Dammika picked us up from the airport and stayed with us the entire week. He was fantastic and was very helpful along the way in making itinerary changes where needed ensure that we had the perfect week. Driving can be challenging in Sri Lanka at times but we always felt safe and he did an awesome job. Best of all he managed to get us great seats on the train to Ella. We loved the train ride and was one of the highlights of our stay. In the US not many people talk about Sri Lanka yet but it’s a beautiful country with great people and we felt safe everywhere we went. Having our own guide and driver for the week made it super easy and we were sad to say goodbye after a week. I’d highly recommend Dammika as a driver for anyone interested in Sri Lanka.

We spent more than a week in Sri Lanka so we had a chance to see most of the well known places there. Our driver Manjula was very kind and professional. Even though the traffic was terrible he managed to get us safely to our final destination :-) Our guide Vera from CK Go2 was very nice and knowledgable - she told us many interesting details about Sri Lanka and local culture. The whole trip was very relaxed and full of fun. If you want to explore Sri Lanka without any hassle or issues, Go2 and Go Tours Lanka are the perfect choice. 100 % recommended.

Great country, nature, people, historic sights, accommodation, food, more over professionally and & delivered by our guide Dammika – we had exceptionally good experience. Mirissa: beautiful beaches with lot of fun (waves); very good safari at Yalla (quite demanding however); Haputale: breathtaking tea plantations (must see !!!); train to Ella (good atmosphere, although our guide gave us more and better to see); interesting tea factory, Kandy botanical garden, and a lot more… Top experience were visits to Budha tooth and Aluvihara temples and a rock fortress at Sigiria. Big program, but thanks to our guide Dammika we were always informed, comfortable and safe. 😊

Go Tours package of Sri Lanka and Maldives offers the perfect balance of convenience of pre-arranged itinerary, individualized attention to clients wants and needs, and flexibility. The agency takes care of the first, but other two come down to how good is your guide. Manjula is a perfect man for that job: always on time, courteous, friendly, always smiling but takes caring for clients very seriously - he fully owns accountability for happiness and safety of his clients. To illustrate a point: he run to the top of Sigiriya rock and back to look for us when we missed the rendezvous point and he did not see us. If you’ve been there you’ll know that’s quite an exhausting in Sri Lanka’s heat. He may not have a thorough historical knowledge of the sites but his advice and guidance on local customs and culture more than makes up for it. Google will give you volumes on any historical sites these days but only good guide like Manjula will help you through new experiences like eating Durian :) In summary: Go Tours and Manjula made our trip one of the memorable of all vacations I took. I highly recommend both. The only negative was the elephant ride: it made me very sad to see the poor conditions of the chained down elephant. They charge $20 for 20 minute slow walk on the edge of dirty slum and at the end make the elephant go in the water - that is where the ‘glamour shot’ is taken they show to all tourists that make it seem as a happy experience for all involved but the ride left me feeling depressed and guilty. For all the careful planning, I am surprised and disappointed that Go Tours would include this in their offerings. My advice to Go Tours: get rid of it all together or find a service provider that takes better care of the animals and the ride is not taking place in a slum but somewhere in nature. Overall though: I’m very happy with our experience (minus the elephant ride)
