Whilst Pidurangala appears larger than Sigiriya; its upper surface is steeply sloped and is of solid rock. For this reason it was not suitable for large-scale building activity. We had an amazing experience with Hellow Travel, where Dhanuka had organised a fantastic itinerary that covered all the must-see spots in Sri Lanka—many of which I hadn't yet explored. It was a nice mix of relaxation, adventure and sight-seeing activities. Our tour guide, Kasun, was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to answer our questions. His experience was evident throughout the trip, and he was incredibly helpful with practical tips, such as tipping advice, activity recommendations, and restaurant suggestions. It was truly a pleasure traveling with an expert who knew the ins and outs of every location we visited. Highly recommend Kasun as a tour guide and the whole tour for anyone looking to explore Sri Lanka in depth!
First visit to Sri Lanka and first ever trip using a personal tour guide! A little background, I’m 57 and fortunately have travelled the world, but always spent umpteen hours, if not days, initially researching the best places to go, then searching endlessly for best the things to do, hotels and restaurants in each area + car hire etc! For this holiday I decided to leave it all to a travel company (Hellow Travel) to sort all this and honestly cannot believe how fantastic it all was, zero stress or anxiety, everything single thing to the minutest detail had all been arranged. What I loved even more and mentioned this on numerous occasions was an excellent trip or booking was made even more extra special with that added attention to detail. Sri Lankan dance show, best reserved seats in the house! Safari, huge queue of trucks, we just drove past them all with a VIP pass! Restaurants, best tables! Hotels, room upgrades and best rooms! 9 bridges, we didn’t just stand there with all the tourists to watch, no, we walked down a little path for even better views, exactly the same with the waterfalls, not just standing at the tourist platform to view, we went down a little path again to the foot of the waterfalls for the best views! Train journey, best window seats! Clean car inside and out every morning, with fresh bottles of water in the back! Dhanuka honestly could not of done anymore and everything ran like clock work, even at the tooth relic which only opens for 15 minutes and chaotic, we made it to the viewing area with 5 minutes to spare! A true gentleman, funny, attentive, a great source of knowledge and an all round great young man. Normally I’d trawling through endless emails and a wad of paperwork planning the next day and things to do! Dhanuka personally has given me a life changing experience and I will without doubt now let local travel companies take away all the stress and anxiety which complex adventure holidays can bring. We will without doubt return to Sri Lankan which is a wonderfully friendly country, very diverse with its landscapes and scenery, amazing food, but it’s the people that make it so special. Couple of things I’d suggest to help other travellers is purchase all your Sri Lankan rupees before coming and get dominations of 500’s and 1000’s as good for little tips and if you swim with the elephants, pack some trunks and a towel and make sure you wear flips flops when coming out, as I slipped and fell down the stairs on the wet tiles! Again Dhanuka came to the rescue stopping at a Doctors and a pharmacy, getting me pain killers and even applying the balm each day to my back! Thanks for everything Dhanuka. Gary Jones
We did 10 days tour with Hellow Travel. Our guide and driver Dhanuka took us around Sri Lanka for 10 days. Everything was easy from travel planning over texts to being picked up at the airport. Dhanuka was patient, knowledgeable, consist and flexible. He is a kind soul and we couldn’t have been happier with him! This trip totally exceeded my expectations. Sri Lanka is a beautiful and peaceful country with so many different things to see and do! Our highlights were Lion Rock, Ayurvedic massage, cave temple, tea plantation and Ella train ride! A must tour and highly recommend Hellow Travel and Dhanuka.
Touring Sri Lanka with Dhanuka (otherwise known as “Danny Boy”!) from Hellow Travel was awesome! Highlights were the elephant safaris, the incredible ancient rock carvings of Lord Buddha and the guided tour of Polonnaruwa. Bohoma istuti Danny Boy, it has been amazing!
Above and beyond all expectations. Hellow travel and the team ( Dhanuka and Chamira) have delivered the most phenomenal experiences for our family while here in Sri Lanka. I can say no more than to book with them and enjoy the journey!!
Utterly overwhelmed by our trip to Sri Lanka. Our visit to this beautiful country with Hellow Travel has been seamless from the get go. Our wonderful friendly host Dhanuka provided us with detailed information in preparation for our trip and made everything about our journey effortless with the warmest welcome on arrival and brilliant knowledge about every aspect of our adventure. We have been looked after every step of our journey, with Chamira kindly and carefully driving us safely through the breathtaking Sri Lanka. We have experienced magnificent adventures from Negombo, to Sigirya, Ella, Yala, Mirissa and Columbo seeing the very best sights. We have made many beautiful memories and cannot thank both Dhanuka and Chamira of Hellow Travel enough for providing this precious holiday - memories we will always cherish.
We travelled to Sri Lanka from 2/1 - 15/1 and upon arrival were warmly greeted by our tour guide, Dhanuka. Having been recommended Hellow Travel by a friend we had high expectations and these were certainly lived up to. Following our engagement on New Year’s Eve, Dhanuka provided exceptional service both directly and by being the liaison with other locals and staff members as when needed. We travelled all over Sri Lanka with Dhanuka and his local knowledge and expertise is second to none. Without his personable approach and help in guiding us around Sri Lanka our experience would have been all together different, several times during the trip we recognised this and mentioned to Dhanuka. We travelled from Colombo, to Sigriya, to Kandy, to Ella, Yala and then down south before returning to Colombo. Dhanuka was attentive and thoughtful throughout, with personal touches not going amiss. For example, each hotel being personally decorated to celebrate our engagement, fresh water in the car daily and adhoc stop offs for necessities. Our experience has certainly been one to remember and we must thank Dhanuka for his sense of humour, kind heartedness, attentiveness and expertise in the tourism sector (and keeping an eye on my beer intake!). I would highly recommend Dhanuka and hellow travel to anyone who wishes to see all aspects of Sri Lanka in a safe and trusted environment. Dhanuka thank you for your time, we have enjoyed getting to know you, your knowledge and have a laugh together!
Excellent and reliable tour operator made of available and professional people. We spent 10 great days in Sri Lanka with one of their tours.
Excellent tour operator made of kind and available professionals! I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is wishing to visit Sri Lanka. Maximum flexibility for advising any kind of tour and good experience in the field of international tourism.

My wife and I went for a 7N/8D tour to Srilanka to celebrate our wedding anniversary .we had the most remarkable and amazing experience. All the resorts were mesmerising, locations were perfect, being on Marine Drive and hill tops close to all the “action” as a tourist .Everyone was so friendly, hospitable, and interesting to talk with. The island really does have so much to offer - nature, amazing beaches and countryside, beautiful wildlife, the most incredibly interesting historical and religious sites, wonderful food, good choice of accommodation to suit all budgets... I could go on and on! Mr Dhanuka prasad from Hellow travel helped us to plan this great trip. The chauffeur cum guide Mr. Roshan was very professional and helpful. He made sure that we have a safe and pleasant journey. Thank you Hello Travel for this awesome trip,we definitely look forward to more trips to Srilanka not only from my end but will also refer Hellow travel to other people.
We had a very lovely time in Sri Lanka. Its a must visit place for everyone. Lots of variety in weather in just 2 hours drive from one place to other. All the cities are very nicely clean. People are very welcoming. All the hotels we stayed are up to the mark. Food was also very nice at all the places. And this all was made possible for us by Hello Travel. They selected all the hotels for us and made our honeymoon memorable. Our Driver Chintaka was very friendly and helpful. We really loved him. He was always ready to go beyond his limitations to make us happy. We really recommend Happy Travel to everyone and will chose them for all our next vacations.
We had planned a 7 day trip to Srilanka and it was very enjoyable Dhanuka has arranged cab for our entire trip at a very short notice. The driver was excellent and was with us throughout the trip and he guided us through the various locations we went to. The mini van we took was very well maintained. Highly recommend this travel agency
They are highly professional and trustworthy. I had arranged an 8 days trip with Hellow travel for my in laws last week. The tour was completely organized with prooffessional driver Mr.Roshan. We had chosen 4 star accomodation package and all the hotels were amazing. Thanks to Mr. Dhanuka Prasad and Mr. Roshan for taking care of each and every thing my in laws wanted. They made sure that we got vegetarian food wherever we went in Srilanka. Will definitely recommend them to all friends and relatives who like to visit Srilanka.
It was a great experience. My soon-to-be two-year-old was with me, and thanks to the kind driver, I was able to complete my schedule with peace of mind.
We made absolutely the right choice by choosing *Hellow Travel* as our tour operator. We were simply fascinated by the tour guide's excellent knowledge of the country and its people, his constant protective accompaniment and his willingness to go the extra mile for us. His charisma, his patient nature and his professionalism can only be described as fantastic and can hardly be surpassed. The hospitality he showed us was unique and even brought tears to our eyes when we left. In *Hellow Travel* we have found a tour operator who deserves more than just 5 stars. Many thanks to the *Hellow Travel* team for an unforgettable tour through the island paradise of Sri Lanka. We will definitely come back to you.
By far the best tour we have booked. We spoke with Dhanuka and planned the trip to our liking, at all times our requests have been attended to and the tours have been modified to our liking. Once in Sri Lanka, Dhanuka showed up at the airport and introduced us to our driver-guide Shakell, the best thing that could have happened to us, he was an attentive, pleasant person who gave everything. He made the trip unforgettable, for us he has been one of the group and a brother who stays in Sri Lanka. At all times Dhanuka has been in contact with us, every day he asked us how the day had been, as well as advice to keep in mind for the next day. In short, both of them have made it an unforgettable trip, I have no choice but to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the effort, and I advised everyone who goes to Sri Lanka to hire HELLO TRAVEL SRI LANKA, you are not going to repeat yourself!!!!
The experience has been great. Perfect organization, punctuality, interest in everything going well, with many details. It was our wedding anniversary and they gave us a cake in a restaurant, every day they sent us a message to find out how it had gone. The driver, Sakell, was great too. We would definitely hire them again.
I had the best trip thanks to Hello Travel's Best Attendance and all the care they gave me. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes. I've taken a lot of trips abroad but Hello Travel's Sri Lanka tour is really recommended.
