We recently travelled around Sri Lanka with Hellow Travel, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Dhanuka and his team made the whole trip so easy and enjoyable. Everything was well organised, from the transportation and hotels to the sightseeing and activities. What we appreciated most was the personal service and flexibility throughout the journey. We never felt like we were just another tourist group. Dhanuka was friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help. He showed us not only the famous places but also some of the more authentic sides of Sri Lanka that we would probably never have discovered on our own. The country is beautiful, but having the right local team makes such a difference, and Hellow Travel certainly made our holiday special. We felt safe, comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire trip. We would highly recommend Hellow Travel to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. We will definitely be coming back!

Sigiriya rock famous as Lion Rock. Also this is a world heritage site. This site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. These pictures have a close resemblance to paintings seen in the Ajanta caves in India. The mirror wall has verses dating from as early as the 8th century. People of all types wrote on the wall, on varying subjects such as love, irony, and experiences of all sorts
We have an interesting excursion available in Habarana, in the form of a traditional bullock cart ride. The real traditional Sri Lankan rural village style, where you will travel in a Bullock cart to a rural village through lush green paddy fields where you will be served tea and " jaggery" along with lunch made in authentic Sri Lankan style. Traditional cooking methods, and a visit to a paddy field to see how the local farmers protect their crops from the wild animals, will be demonstrated.

Minneriya National Park is a national park in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The reason for declaring the area as protected is to protect the catchment of the Minneriya tank and the wildlife of the surrounding area. The tank is of historical importance, having been built by King Mahasen in the third century AD.
Pidurangala is a massive rock formation located a few kilometers north of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka. It has an interesting history closely related to that of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Being less grand and far more difficult to climb it is often overlooked by tourists. Like Sigiriya, Pidurangala was formed by volcanic activity. Whilst Pidurangala appears larger than Sigiriya; its upper surface is steeply sloped and is of solid rock. For this reason, it was not suitable for large-scale building activity. The rocky outcrops that surround the central rock give one an indication of what the area around Sigiriya may have looked like before its clearing and preparation as a royal citadel.

Furthermore they can also purchase tea at the very same place. The estate spreads across many hectares; when you stand on one end, it appears as if Giragama Tea Plantation knows no bounds. The Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. Galle’s earliest historical existence is traced to Ptolemy’s world map of 125–150 AD when it was a busy port, trading with Greece, Arab countries, China, and others. Its mention as a "port of call of the Levant" is made in the cosmography of Cosmas Indicopleustes.
Take a magical speed-boat ride down the beautiful Madu River, a wetland estuary spreading over 900 hectares of which 770 hectares is covered with water and inhabited with 64 islands. Sri Lanka is an interesting country. I enjoyed the Safari and Little Adam Peak. We have a professional tour guide, Dhanuka, he works so hard to please everyone's needs, above and beyond, energetic, and always with a sweet smile. Excellent job well done! Thank you, Dhanuka! We enjoy the trip very much.
I visited villages with Dhanuka, and he shared deep insights into local life, history, and nature. He took me to places at exactly the right time for the best views, helped me avoid crowds, and guided me to perfect moments for photos. He constantly adapted our plans to the weather and timing, making sure every visit was optimized. He showed me temples at the best hours, helped with shortcuts, and introduced me to hidden gems no casual tourist would ever find. Thanks to him, I had the authentic Buddhist temple experience I was looking for. He also found me the best jeep for safari and the best massage therapy experience. He explained which vendors were fair and which were overpriced, helping me shop smarter and avoid tourist traps. In an almost impossible situation, he even managed to find me train tickets and caught the train with his exceptional driving skills. He was incredibly kind and became an amazing companion for my solo trip. I’m truly grateful our paths crossed. 100% recommended.
Thanks for the experience from our amazing tour guide Dhanuka in the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. He was so attentive to both my wife and my needs. He ensured that we were fully aware of the days events, transfer times, etc The hotels were authentic and the tours truly delivered on the experience for us. At every stage we could not fault the processes in place and comforts we were treated to. We would recommend this tour which can be as flexible or as full on as you like. Enjoy

After our incredible experience last year, choosing HELLOWTRAVEL again was an easy decision - and once more, they exceeded all expectations! Our six-day tour through Sri Lanka’s Central Province was nothing short of extraordinary, filled with awe-inspiring cultural landmarks, stunning landscapes, and exclusive experiences that we would never have discovered on our own. HELLOWTRAVEL also impressed us with their impeccable choice of accommodations. Each stay was comfortable, authentic, and thoughtfully selected to enhance our experience - everything was just perfect. At the end of the tour, it was extremely difficult to say goodbye again. The hospitality we received could not have been better. If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! This trip went far beyond what we had hoped for, and one thing is certain: we will be back in Sri Lanka to uncover even more of its wonders - with HELLOWTRAVEL by our side once again. A heartfelt thank you for an unforgettable adventure!
We have spent 14 nights and 15 days travelling Sri Lanka following our engagement in Dubai for NYE. We were warmly greeted at the airport by our guide Dankuka, who stayed with us for the majority of our time. Danuka has been the best guide we could have possibly asked for and without him we certainly would have had a different experience! We explored many places including the local villages, temples, safaris and enjoyed some local traditions. All of these whilst feeling safe, being provided with the knowledge we need on where is best to eat, what to avoid and anything we could possibly need. Furthermore, Danuka provided a first class service being the liaison with all the different hotels and having each room decorated and with cake for our special occasion. This was very well received and much appreciated. Danuka has been an excellent guide, who has known the answers to all of our questions, gone above and beyond (including getting medicine when it was needed!), made a reservations for us and has been a great companion with an excellent sense of humour to keep us company, look after us and make sure we have the best time possible and see the most of Sri Lanka!! The extra effort, going above and beyond has not been unnoticed. It has certainly been a trip to remember and without Danuka this would have not been the case - so thank you very much!! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to see the real Sri Lanka and have the expertise and safety blanket of a good quality guide who is also very personable.
Our tour guide Dhanuka picked us up at the airport at 1:30 am and took us to a very decent hotel. We were so worried that we might have to sleep at the airport but the tour guide was so caring, he was waiting for us after we passed the secure checkout, and also found a hotel that allow early check in. And his wife woke up at 5 am that morning to prepare very delicious breakfast for us. The whole trip he did a wonderful job. The sites we visited were well schedule and the hotels were very good. His knowledge about the country were superb. We had a very good time and is a tour to remember for life time.
From the first day I contacted Hello Travel to my last day in Sri Lanka, I was an exceptionally satisfied customer. Mr. Dhanuka Prasad was the one and only person I dealt with and he accompanied me throughout my stay in SL. Tour Package was customized to suit me and I did everything I wanted to do in SL. Hotels selected were 5 and 4 stars ones and were very comfortable. Meals at the various hotels were excellent. Car provided was clean, comfortable in excellent working condition and AC was cool. I felt safe, I felt like I found a son in Sri Lanka through Mr. Dhanuka Prasad. He took care of me throughout my stay and went way beyond the call of duty especially during a stomach challenge. He has the perfect skill set for being in the Tourism Industry. Professional, knowledgeable, has a passion for his Country and always displayed a deep concern for my welfare and happiness

The Hello Travel agency where very professional. They organized the trip, booked hotels, arranged the transports and scheduled the visits according to my time of travel. Without them I could not see all these places in Sri Lanka within one week. Mr Dhanuka took care of everything very well. He advised me through all the necessary documents before travel and took my feedback every day for the convenience of the trip. He was so responsive if I ever needed to change anything in the plan. Mr Thushara, the driver and the guide, was best of his kind. He was a gentle, professional, humble driver. He had a tremendous amount of knowledge about the places that he takes me. He explained about the history, traditions, atmospheres, geography,…,etc. He was so kind and very respectful man. I definitely recommend them for travel and I will surely hire them again for my trip to Sri Lanka.
Dhanuka was extremely responsive and helped me design an excellent cross-island honeymoon tour, bespoke for my requirements. He was always available to address any queries and went out of his was to help us. He even helped us find a great doctor in a medical emergency and arranged RT-PCR tests for our flight back. The driver, Manoj, was also extremely responsive and did not unnecessarily push any local restaurants or attractions.
