They took money for the license, but we never received it. They kept lying that the courier would deliver it today, tomorrow, or the day after, but he constantly mixes up the addresses and delivers it all over the island. They probably think the people ordering their services are idiots. We forwarded the WhatsApp messages to the police and the bank where the payment was made. The bank refunded me for the license, which these scammers spent a whole week delivering but never delivered. And who will compensate me for the wasted time? I'm surprised they still operate like this. Because judging by other reviews online, we're not the only ones they've scammed.

I had been in contact with this company for months, one month prior to arriving in Colombo I mailed the IDP so they would have the time to secure my Sri Lankan temporary license. The day of rental they agreed to deliver to my hotel for a fee. Hours later I called to ask where they were and the office said driver was stuck in traffic due to rain. Was not raining at the time or hours previously. At least another 90 minutes and no driver. Finally after a long wait he arrived. I immediately secured my license, it was mine, and explained that I would not use their services. He became upset and accidentally said he was waiting for my license at the DMV. As the story unfolded he explained that he had not secured the license in advance, as promised on the web site. This only made me think my decision was the right one, as there was a trust issue. What would they say about a vehicle that I rented when I returned? The manager begged me to reconsider, offering a free day and discount. Again, even if they would not charge me at all, I could not trust them. He then said they were cancelling my license. Going to the web site I found that they were not allowed to cancel, only the person named on the license and DMV could cancel. Again, only making me feel I made the right decision in not using their business. All they had to do was communicate the facts to me and we could have made arrangements, instead they just left me sitting for hours. So two lies during this exchange and no rental.
