In August 2026 my mother and I travelled to Sri Lanka and organised a two week tour with Bhathi. We loved every minute of our trip, from the moment we met him at the hotel up until we left. We left Sri Lanka with full hearts and so many precious memories. Bhathi is an incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely kind person. One of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. As a local with an incredible knowledge of his country, he gave us so much more than just a tour. Stories were shared on every car journey we took. History and fascinating insights were learnt about Sri Lanka, giving us a much better insight on the country. One of the highlights of the trip was when we were taken to a local little shack where we had the most delicious vegetarian curry cooked for us from scratch by two beautiul women. We were shown their traditional cooking techniques which were fascinating to watch. The curry was honestly the most incredible curry I’ve ever eaten! The flavours are almost impossible to describe, I still think about it to this day. It is an experience I will never forget. Throughout our trip Bhathi took us on so many excursions that we will never forget, from the safari, white water rafting and cinnamon harvesting trip to the many temples we visited and sunrise walks. Every experience felt like it was thoughtfully chosen for us to give us a glimpse into the real authentic Sri Lanka, beyond the usual tourist attractions. When we first arrived in Sri Lanka I was quite unwell after becoming sick in India. Bhathi immediately took me to a local doctor for medication, and continued I’d to look after me throughout the trip. He ensured I had all the medication I needed and checked regularly if I needed to see another doctor. His kindness are care was so genuine it touched both my mother and I. Bhathi also gave us a gift from his wonderful wife: homemade curry powder. This was such a touching gift to receive and the curry powder was unlike any I’d tasted before. I still have it in my kitchen cupboard to this day and save it for special occasions! If you wish to travel Sri Lanka and experience the ‘real’ Sri Lanka, its heart and soul, I cannot recommend Bhathi enough. Bhathi have us an authentic, memorable and truly invaluable experience. Having such a wonderfully humble and kind tour guide for our trip made it unforgettable. You will not regret booking a tour with Bhathi if you wish to visit Sri Lanka!

We had a fabulous time on our tour with Bhathi!! He was personable, knowledgeable about his beautiful Country and we look forward to bringing friends with us to experience this wonderful tour!
Mi daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Bhathi. He is a thoughtful human being, kind, generous, very knowledgeable. When my daughter got sick, he got a doctor on the phone, bought the medication for her and did everything possible to make her feel more comfortable. We spent an amazing 12 days in his company, and I fully recommend him.
We made a family trip with Bathi and we had a wonderful moment with him. His advices and attention especially towards kids contributed to make our trip amazing. Kids still talk about elephants, crocodile and all the beauties we saw during our trip. Thanks Bathi for your kindness
Bhathiya arranged everything for us . We had a wonderful driver who took us all over that wonderful jewel of an island. Saw sights we never imagined. In fact it was the holiday of a Lifetime. Can’t praise this Company enough. Hope to return soon 🙏🙏🍀🍀
This trip to Sri Lanka was truly wonderful, and I'm still moved whenever I think back on it. A special thank you to Bhathyia - with his thoughtful guidance, I was able to experience such an authentic and deeply local journey. From visiting the magnificent Sigiriya Rock, to enjoying a homemade local lunch, to seeing wild elephants roaming freely in nature—each of these "firsts" left a particularly deep impression on me. Time and again, I was captivated by Sri Lanka's nature and culture. I really strongly recommend that if you're planning a trip to Sri Lanka, let BHATHIYA arrange and lead your journey. The experience he offers is vastly different from exploring on your own—it's the kind of immersive, warm, and truly local experience that you just can't get otherwise.
Bhatiya Tours gave me a phenomenal experience. Bhati’s kindness, knowledge and safety on the road put me at ease to thoroughly relax and enjoy my holiday. He has a great sense of humour and I enjoyed learning Sri Lankan words each day. Nothing was too much trouble for Bhati; he went out of his way to please. He showed us parts of Sri Lanka and experiences that we might not have considered. Bhati is a kind, considerate and thoughtful man with great discretion.
We have had a. amazing trip exploring Sri Lanka with Bharthi. He was recommended to us by friends who visited Sri Lanka in 2018. Based on their recommendation we asked Bharthi to arrange a trip for us. It was fantastic. Bharthi booked fabulous hotels for us, took us to incredible places where he acted as our guide. He is an accredited Sri Lankan Tourism Guide and is extremely knowledgeable. Bharthi is also really good fun and kind and was happy to alter the itinerary to tailor it specifically for us. I would recommend him as you will have a wonderful trip and learn so much about the history and culture of Sri Lanka. He will even try to teach you Sinhalese!

We had an amazing tour with Bharti. It was the first time we had used a guide and wondered how it would be. Bharti is a great guy and we soon became good friends. He has a great sense of humour and arranged everything so that we didn't have to wait in line for tickets and saw a lot in the 8 day tour. He then arranged other trips for us when we asked him to for the remainder of or stay in Sri Lanka. The hotels that Bharti booked for us were excellent and with very helpful staff. Bharti is very knowledgeable and told us so much about the sites we visited, Sri Lankan culture, and Buddhist culture. I would recommend using Bharti if you want to see the best of Sri Lanka.
We had an amazing time on our tour with Bharti. He showed us so much of Sri Lanka and was great fun to spend the time with. The hotels and accommodation he chose for us were really good and the itinerary was perfect. I would recommend this to any of my friends and urge anyone considering a Sri Lankan holiday to book with Bharti!
My husband and I travelled with Bhathi around Sri Lanka - he anticipated all of our wishes on this trip and surprised us with thoughtful touches that went way above and beyond our expectations. He truly delivered on a magical experience.
My wife and I traveled with Bhathi for 11 days, driving from Colombo up to Sigiriya, the central hills, Yala, and the southern beaches. Bhathi was everything you can ask for in a guide: kind, punctual, and informative; quick to offer any combination of historical context, local anecdotes, and personal stories; and thoughtful with a personal touch. For best results: get in touch early, and work together to plan your perfect trip. Bhathi's full of great recommendations, but if you do some research ahead of time and work out some clear priorities, he'll work with you to craft a truly personalized experience.
We had the most incredible trip exploring Sri Lanka. From the very beginning, Bhathyia was exceptionally kind, friendly, and always went out of his way to care for us. It felt like we were traveling with a friend who genuinely wanted us to have the best time. The itinerary he planned was fantastic and showed us the very best of the country. We experienced so much variety, from stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches to seeing amazing animals on safari. We also explored fascinating historical sites and even got to do some snorkeling. Every activity was interesting and perfectly organized. If you are planning a trip to Sri Lanka, I cannot recommend Bhathyia enough. He gave our family an unforgettable adventure and memories we will cherish forever. Thank you for everything, Bhathyia
We visited from UK /Canada especially for our children to connect with their roots, learn about their heritage, and engage with the culture, people, and environment of their ancestral home. Bhatia tours took us on a tour of historical cities, sacred Buddhist and Hindu temples in Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Kathirkamam and Galle. Bhatia organised the tour flexible to our needs efficiently and seamlessly, personally made sure we are comfortable at all places and looked after us like his family. We also climbed Sigiriya, went on the scenic train journey from Nanuoya to Ella and safaried at Yala. The tour was an unforgettable experience of motherland and family reunion .
Thank you Bhathiya it was so much fun. Your kindness and attention to detail was much appreciated, your photos and daughter’s chocolate cake were fabulous. Sttuthi!
Our 12 days with Bhathi have been amazing. His attention to detail when creating the itinerary is exceptional and I can’t believe how much we have been packed in. Bhathi is such good company and nothing is too much trouble for him, he’s become a very good friend in such a short space of time. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and offers so much, stunning scenery, wildlife, food, beaches and was the perfect place for our honeymoon. We have not had to worry about anything during our stay and it’s been so relaxing thanks to Bhathi’s expert knowledge and organisation. The trip has exceeded all expectations and we’ve learned so much - we can’t wait to come back!
Bhati has been exceptional. We had plenty of communication leading up to the holiday, it was a big trip so wanted to make sure we had everything and Bhati always replied promptly which was reassuring. He provided a solid itinerary that we were very happy with, and everything went smoothly. We've also learnt so much more about Sri Lanka that we thought we would, Bhati has a wealth of knowledge and my wife and I have had the perfect honeymoon, and it couldn't have been any better and we honestly can not thank him enough.
We got multiple recommendations of Mr. Bhatiya and we decided to arrange our 6 day tour around Srilanka with him! And we were absolutely delighted to have him as our guide and friend. Bhatiya has been very knowledgeable, dependable and fun during the tour! I really enjoyed our trips to Sigriya, Adams peak, Ellla and Udawala! Thank you Bhatiya for the lovely time and making our trip stress free with all the arrangements!!
We have just returned from a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka with Bhathiya and the experience has been fantastic. We highly recommend it as a guide. From the beginning, he proved to be a great professional. He is a very prudent and safe driver, something that is greatly appreciated on Sri Lankan roads, and his car was always spotless. Bhathiya has a deep knowledge of the history and culture of his country and shares it in a very enjoyable way. It took us to amazing places, both the best-known and local gems that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, including some places to eat wonderfully. He is also a very friendly, patient and flexible person. He adapted to our pace smoothly and was always attentive to what we needed, with a smile. Thanks to him, our trip was comfortable, interesting and very complete. If you are looking for a guide in Sri Lanka, feel free to contact Bhathiya. A sure hit.
A friend recommended Bathiya tours and it was really worth it. In our case there were 3 of us, and I think the fact of going with Bathi as a driver and guide with his car was the best way to visit the island. The car very comfortable and he very good driver in the chaos of traffic in urban areas. Besides Bathi has always been super vigilant about us and has everything very well organized. He is also very polite and patient. So the best rating for him. As for the island, really spectacular!!! Colorful fish, temples, elephants, traditions, culture, birds, local food, religion, beaches, bustling markets, etc... for all tastes!! The only thing that would change from the route proposed by Bathi would be the hotel in Trincomalee, the rest quite well, suitable for the price of the trip. In short, a trip to save for sempre in our memory! Enric
Thank Bati for welcoming Honestly, his trip was more than great and Bati's treatment was a nice welcome, arranging the trip and choosing hotels Everything was spent on and sent to a commitment Thank you for all the help to her feet and the tourist guidance that was more than enough for all areas to bring her Thank you for respecting family privacy I consider Patty to be one of the best tour guides I've experienced on my travels to many countries Any Arabic or Muslim family I would recommend your trip to Sri Lanka with Batik
Thanks for the very pleasant trip. Dear teacher Patty is the best tour guide and he taught us a lot about Sri Lanka, its culture, history and religions. Its hotel and restaurant selection is excellent and very respectful and helpful with anything you might need to make the trip even better. We were so pleased with our trip and Sri Lanka was a beautiful and welcoming country and the most beautiful trip was led by Master Patti. Thank you and your wife for your hospitality. The 5 stars are top-notch.
Bhathiya was recommended to us by a friend and we were delighted that he was able to arrange a fantastic 7-day tour very spontaneously. We really enjoyed Bhathiya's tour thanks to his experience and extensive knowledge of the places visited. It was a carefree experience as Bhathiya took care of everything and the hotels met our needs. The hotels always had a great view too. Often he even arranged discounts for us which probably saved us 50-100€. If someone only expects 4 or 5 star hotels, this can also be discussed with Bhathiya, which is certainly not a problem. The restaurants selected were all very good too. Although the schedule was tight, Bhathiya always took the time to show us everything. We also had some unplanned stops aimed at showcasing local products. These stops included e.g. free visits to a tea factory, a spice garden and a souvenir shop with handmade wood/batik works with an option to purchase at the end of the tour. The overall impression of the tour was very positive.
