We had a 14 day trip with a private driver. Heshan, our driver, was always punctual, reliable and good company. He was well organised and always provided suggestions for places to eat and shop. He organised the tours we wanted to do seemlessly without any hitches. The hotel accommodation was good with one exception. The safaris suggested by our driver were a highlight. We saw the big 5 animals of Sri Lanka in the wild. Overall we had a great experience in Sri Lanka.

We just completed a two week tour with BH Lanka and our guide for the trip was Nishantha Rathnayaka. Nishantha was a superb guide, extremely polite, an excellent driver, knowledgeable and always incredibly helpful. The trip was amazing, having never been to Sri Lanka before it was a great introduction to the island’s history, varying landscapes and variety of animals/birds. The majority of the hotels were excellent and the multi-site tour had just the right level of activities so there was also time to relax. We would definitely recommend BH Lanka Tours.

My wife and I had always wanted to travel to Sri Lanka but COVID initially interrupted or plans. Children arrived (boys 4yrs &1yrs) but we but the bullet and opted for a round trip with family in tow. We were so glad we did. BH Lanka we extremely accommodating for our family needs, assuring is cots world be provided in all rooms and a car seat for our 1yr old. They were flexible with the accommodation reservations allowing us to select certain properties of we desired. The whole booking process was seamless. The tour itself was exceptional. Our guide, Chami made it all the more special and accommodated and adapted the itinerary based on our family needs. We scaled Sigirya Rock, bathed elephants and saw the beautiful landscape the country offers. All in all it was a superb experience and one we are glad we embarked on with our 2 boys who had a wonderful holiday. Special thanks to Chami and the team at BH Lanka for arranging everything for us.

We had a wonderful tour thanks to our guide Udara. His knowledge of Sri Lanka and love for his country was inspiring. He treated us like family. He was able to take us to some out of the way buffets run by families he has come to know over the years. When we needed a doctor he was able to find a doctor for us very quickly. Wee got the care we needed and he made sure we got the prescriptions filled. I highly recommend Udara.

What a wonderful, lush and vibrant country! We travelled around Sri Lanka for 12 days and Suje was our guide throughout the trip, which was booked through BH Lanka Tours. Everything ran smoothly and was well organised from start to finish. Suje was reliable, knowledgeable and easy to travel with. He explained the history, culture and places we visited clearly and was happy to answer questions along the way. The schedule was exciting but also allowed time to relax, and plans were adjusted when needed. He made sure we were comfortable each day and helped with practical details such as timings, stops and local advice. Having the same guide for the whole trip made travelling around the country much easier. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend booking with BH Lanka Tours, as well as travelling with Suje if possible.

We spent 6 days with Camilus who looked after us from the minute we arrived at the airport. All the arrangements went smoothly and we enjoyed seeing so much of this beautiful island in such a short time. Having a guide made life so easy and meant we could enjoy the experience without having to worry about travel arrangements. We felt we learnt more about the culture and people by having a guide. We’ve never done this type of tour before but would definitely do it again. We just wish we’d had longer to spend in the different places we visited. We would definitely recommend.

10/10, My wife and I were lucky enough to have our amazing driver/guide Bathi to take us around. He was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible with us at all times. He even showed us some hidden jems that he personally knew. He really made our time in Sri Lanka special and treated us just like family of his own. We will be recommending this journey and Bathi to everyone we know!

This tour was magnificent. Of all the tours we have done around the world, this tour was probably the best. The pace is so well thought out, never rushed with some relaxing stops but also many good things to do and see. The other people on our tour couldn’t make it, so my husband and I by default ended up getting a private tour essentially which was wonderful. Our tour guide, Bhathiya, was one of the highlights. He has such a kind heart and is an amazing person, which made our tour 10x better. He had so much information to share and was so knowledgeable which kept our drives and stops very engaging. The vehicle was always kept immaculate and he was happy to help with anything we needed. Every hotel on this tour was lovely, some really unique stays as well. The itinerary is perfect for anyone who wants to see a lot in two weeks, but not feel exhausted from doing too much. It was a really perfect 2 weeks and our experience with this company, our guide and the country make us want to come back as soon as possible. Thank you Bhathiya for a unforgettable two weeks

Myself and my Partner (29 years old) had an amazing time on the Semi-Luxury tour of Sri Lanka. The tour was seamless from start to finish and the trip was made by our amazing tour guide Dudly. Dudly was caring, knowledgeable, punctual and very good company for the 2 weeks we were with him. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the trip of a lifetime, often adding additional experiences that were not on the tours itinerary. I would recommend this tour to anyone and, if you are lucky enough to get Dudly as your guide then you will have the trip of a lifetime.

Nalin our guide and driver was first rate. Knowledge of geography, history and local facts gave us a lot to digest. Sri Lanka is beautiful with surprises every day and the people were lovely, calm and friendly. Accommodation was good and meals memorable.

We had such a fantastic trip to Sri Lanka with BH Lanka Tours. Our guide, Nishantha, was amazing—so friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to adjust things for us. From stopping to try local fruits to arranging Ayurvedic massages, he really made the trip special, and by the end it felt like saying goodbye to a friend. The tour itself was brilliant. We saw so much wildlife, beautiful sights and cultural highlights. The hotels were good and the food was incredible, with plenty of vegan choices for my partner. Our honeymoon with BH Lanka was unforgettable, thanks to our exceptional driver, Vipula. From airport pickup to our first hotel, Club Dolphin, everything was seamless. Vipula’s care shone through—handling our bags, negotiating with locals, tipping on our behalf, and even finding a great coffee spot in Sri Lanka, where coffee isn’t common. He made navigating Sri Lanka’s chaos effortless, briefing us daily on activities and pickup times. The hotels were outstanding, each unique while each adding a special honeymoon touch. Vipula ensured we avoided tourist traps and got medical help when we fell ill, making the trip stress-free. BH Lanka’s high standards were clear in their hotel and service choices. Saying goodbye to Vipula after our 12-day adventure was tough. Thanks to him and BH Lanka, our trip was perfect. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended.

We had the best tour guide Aruna dewasinghe, the activities were excellent loved releasing turtles just hatched and the Yala safari saw a couple of leopards amongst so many other wonderful experiences. The accommodation was great, food and service exceptional. Highly recommend Tour Radar the itinerary was flexible and we saw all the must do! Thank you so much Aruna we had the best time.

We embarked on a 6-day tour of Sri Lanka. Our tour guide/driver, Janaka Priyadarshana, was outstanding—a wonderful person who was very kind and helpful. He provides full support whenever we need it until he gives us his gastric medicine. We enjoyed most of the tour; Sigiriya Rock was a real adventure. Overall, the hotels we stayed at were excellent, such as Morven, North Gate (breakfast was good), and Mandara Resort (close to the beach), while only one was below average, the Kingdom Gate hotel. The transportation provided was good and in excellent condition. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka. From amazing historical sites, tea plantations, to wonderful national parks and of course the beautiful Indian Ocean. We booked our trip with BH Lanka via Tour Radar. We customized our trip from a standard 12 day one to an 18 day package. The BH Lanka team were excellent with suggesting ways to extend the trip and we quickly settled on our itinerary. We were met at the airport by our driver who took us to our first hotel in Negombo. Next morning we were met by our guide Nishantha Kumara or Nish for short, who was to be with us for the whole trip. It became clear very quickly that Nish is very passionate about his country and takes great pride in passing on his knowledge of the history and culture of Sri Lanka. Having spent nearly 3 weeks with Nish I can honestly say he is a kind, helpful and considerate guide. He takes great care when driving, never taking any risks on the sometimes chaotic roads, he may be the most cautious driver in Sri Lanka! There has been great variety in the places we have visited on this trip, full days focused on historical and religious sites. Here Nish fill our heads with stories and legends as well as descriptions of when and how the culture developed over the centuries. We’ve really enjoyed jeep safari trips where we saw leopards (2), elephants (too many to count), crocodiles, other mammals and a great variety of bird life. One highlight was an optional extra which was an early morning balloon flight. Really wonderful drifting on a gentle breeze above the treetops just after sunrise. Another was a whale-spotting boat trip near Marissa where we saw numerous dolphins close up, turtles & a whale-shark. The sperm whale unfortunately remained elusive despite the crew patiently extending the trip & we only got to see it “spout” a fair distance away. The last few days of the trip were spent relaxing at beach resorts where we could just chill out listening to the sound of the waves from the Indian Ocean. All in all a lovely holiday that combined a bit of everything from an island that offers a lot of options.

Great trip we went all over Sir Lanka . Our guide Saku was great very knowledgeable and took us to so many great places we will recommend this tour to everyone.

This tour totally exceeded our expectations in every way. Sri Lanka is a beautiful, diverse country and Sri Lankans are the friendliest people ever. We had a wonderful driver/guide, Sidath who was so good. He was always courteous and punctual and he was very proud to share his country with us. We learnt such a lot from him and he always went out of his way to make sure we were OK. The itinerary was really well planned and we enjoyed everything. There were two beach breaks which we enjoyed too. A highly recommended tour from two well traveled Kiwis.

The trip was a real experience. Nalin Dissanayake was a great guide. He enthusiastically explained everything to us and answered all our questions about Sri Lanka, its culture, cities, nature, religions, temples and much more. Nalin was also a great companion and always looked after our well-being. The hotels were really great, the food was always delicious and the excursions were breathtaking. The excursions were very varied and extensive, from historical and cultural to action and theatre. Within 12 days we were able to discover many different sides of Sri Lanka. We were fortunate to have Sidath as our driver. He picked us up from the Jetwing hotel and was with us for most of the trip. He was punctual, well groomed, informative and very considerate towards my sister and I. Sidath was able to recommend places to go and really make our trip and stay in Sri Lanka special

We chose to do this tour as a private tour as my parents are in their 70’s & not the most mobile any more. This way we could do our own thing & not worry about a ‘group’ & modify. &, it was wonderful! Sidath our guide was must courteous, kind & helpful. Also incredibly knowledgeable. He was always providing advice on what we should see, where we should eat, what customs where, when the best time to see something was etc. This tour is the perfect mix of culture, history, religion, wildlife, tea, wilderness, city, coast & beach. An extraordinary experience made better with a wonderful guide Sidath. He was most efficient and reliable as well as knowledgeable. I must add he was flexible as my wife had some mobility problems. Given the traffic problems sometimes we were amazed at the accuracy of arrival times etc.

Our experience with bh lanka tour was amazing!! The most incredible company to tour with if you want to enjoy sri lanka. Booked the trip by calling them directly. Mr hasita made sure that the trip was curated for us as per our needs and comfort. He made sure he was available whenever we needed any information on our trip. We travelled for 14 days throughout sri lanka with mr Nishantha kumar. He took care of us and made sure that our trip was a memorable one. All in all the trip was great value for money. Beautiful country, well organized tour. Accommodations were usually great. Buddhika went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and all the local vendors of various activities were hand picked for high quality. Please expect to spend an additional $500-$600 USD if you do all the activities mentioned in the description. Also, Srilanka's Covid restrictions require you to purchase a single supplement of $500 + RT PCR test costs $40. The trip was worth every penny though. These guys are the best!

I chose BH tours for a four days sight seeing for our first ever visit to Sri Lanka from London.
