Suriya Resort

5/5 Our stay in the Triple Suite at Suriya Resort was absolutely wonderful. For a five star hotel, the room rates were surprisingly reasonable and offered exceptional value for their gracious hospitality. Our suite was clean, spacious and fully equipped with every modern amenity, which made it ideal for our family vacation. The swimming pool was beautifully designed and well maintained. The true highlight of our stay was the extraordinary service. While the entire pool staff and restaurant staff were consistently polite and welcoming, my special thanks must go to the Resident Manager Mr. Arju Vijayarajah. It’s rare to see someone in such a senior management role approach guests with such humility. His eloquent communication and well-spokenness made us feel truly valued during our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it to families and individuals looking for a peaceful coastal vacation spot.

The rooms are super spacious, comfortable, and comfy. The view is perfect from everywhere, and the swimming pool is big enough to enjoy. The whole hotel is beautiful and perfect for photos! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit place—highly recommended! ❤️✨

We stayed at Suriya Resort on a weekday for a one-night family getaway. The highlight of the resort was definitely the pool area and the beach. They were beautiful, well laid out, and made for a relaxing atmosphere. Our sea-view room had a good view. However, the rest of the property felt rather dull and lacked the same appeal as the pool and beach area. Some parts of the resort also seemed to need better maintenance. The room was okay, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was a slight unpleasant smell, some stains on the bathroom walls, and the bathroom door lock was broken. One thing to note is that the resort offers day-out packages. On the day we visited, there was a large crowd of around 50 people, with many day visitors using the pool. As a result, the pool area was quite busy and noisy during the daytime, which reduced the peaceful atmosphere for overnight guests. Staff and service was good and they were attentive to our needs. Food was okay, but lacked the variety. Overall the experience was not very good even though the sunset was vibrant.

We stayed in a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a very large pool and is adjacent to the beach which is fairly clean. The meals were very good and had a lot of variety and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The "hands on" approach and constant presence of the Resident Manager was exceptional and admirable. it would be better if they had a few more sport recreational activities. altogether a superb Hotel
