Hotel Sico

We had a pleasant stay at Sico Hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We booked two rooms with double beds, and both rooms had plenty of space. I especially liked the balcony view, when I opened the door, the hotel pool was directly below, which was a nice touch. The location is also convenient. The beach is nearby, and there are plenty of restaurants around, so it’s easy to go out, enjoy the area and find different food options. In terms of safety, I felt very secure while inside the hotel and in the rooms. One thing to keep in mind is that the main gate is closed around 10 PM, so late-night walks or returning late can be a little inconvenient. On one occasion, we had to wait outside the gate for quite a while before it was opened. Another positive was the airport transfer — the hotel arranged transportation to the airport, which made our departure much easier. Overall, a comfortable stay with clean and spacious rooms, a convenient location near the beach and restaurants, and helpful services. 👍

Lovely hotel in Negombo, walking distance from the beach and Kattuwa train station. The room was modern and the shower was powerful. There was free water, tea and coffee. The pool was not large but nice for a quick dip. When there was a leak from our aircon machine, the staff were quick to clean it up. You can pay with card.

Its good location for a transit hotel. 20 mins away from airport. This particular building is relatively new. Staff was super friendly and accomodation. Rooms were relatively comfortable and good size, however small issues such as bathroom lock not clicking, shower slightly damaged could be fixed.
