The entire tour from start to finish was fantastic. Pick up at our hotel was perfect and we sat in a clean vehicle with AC and bottles of water. Our guide was Alexander and he was exactly what we were hoping for. He was friendly, extremely knowledgable about the area and overall an outstanding guide. We felt lucky the moment we met him. He deserves a five star rating. Communication from Viator was excellent both before and after our time in Naxos.

Good way to see the island and visit some of the small towns in the hills without having to drive. Had some very great experiences like olive oil tasting, Kitron tasting and a pottery exhibit. Lots to see!

Magnolia was absolutely tremendous. Couldn’t have been better. Very genuine, easy going, well educated. A very, very good young man.

Had a lovely afternoon with George. Learned some great Greek history and saw beautiful mountain towns.

George was a wonderful guide for our private tour, very knowledgeable, attentive and kind. He kept a good pace throughout the tour and happily answered many questions about life on Naxos in general and about the sites on our tour. He was also perfectly flexible when we wanted to make a brief unplanned stop. The tour focused on charming villages in the center of the island and showcased history, local traditions and culture, economic drivers, and some shopping. I would have preferred to have a bit more free time to shop and explore the villages on my own but that would require either eliminating one of the planned stops or adding an hour to the tour time, which would be my recommendation.

Amazing private tour! Just the two of us, myself and my girlfriend and the private guide/driver George. He was very informative, patient and helpful with reviewing the local history and customs of Naxos. We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel and had several important stops along the way. We also had enough time for a quick lunch/snack before heading back to the hotel. If you want a real view of the island and its unique features, I highly recommend it. Thanks!

What a wonderful afternoon we spent with Nikos taking us around Naxos and offering such insight into the culture. We made stops at a special church, historic distillery, pottery shop, and olive oil press. Nikos also answered our many questions and was a great guide.

Our guide Nicolas was very accommodating and kind. He timed our stops to avoid the crowds. The visits to the villages gave a nice appreciation of Naxos. The Temple of Demeter and accompanying tiny museum was interesting with lovely views of the island.

Wonderful way to get to know the island and culture of Naxos, visiting local villages and learning about their way of life and craftmanship. Very picturesque Greek villages and scenery. Alex our tour guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and engaging, Alex even got our 2 teen boys interested.

Alex, our driver picked us up on time at the front door of our hotel, and was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to see all kinds of interesting things, like how they make a local liquor, how they make olive oil, and how they make pottery. We'll worth the time and money for this tour.

Naxos half day tour was very enjoyable meeting the artisans and learning about their olive oil products, pottery making and the production of Kitron by five generations of Naxians. Beautiful, engaging people who explained the processes for each product we saw so very well. Our guide Alex, was informative, knowledgeable and engaging. He made the tour interesting and fun for us. We highly recommend this tour if you are short on time as we were.

Spiros from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off. He was constantly the wealth of knowledge. He was true to his word and he was an informative and incredible once in a lifetime guide he truly is and remains an amazing tour guide and anyone who books with him is truly lucky enough to experience the true Greece and the true hospitality that Greece has to offer. He went in above and beyond as we showed interest towards cheese and he pointed out the best cheese tasting on the island although he didn’t stop he did pointed out and he made an conservative effort to drive out of his way to show us where to go for when we were able to visit in our own free time to make sure that the true tour was honoured and that no favouritism was shown but he did show where the best cheese tasting occurred and thanks to him. We all partook in a great cheese tasting event.

George was great to get to know! He was very informative while showing us the beautiful island of Naxos! We saw pottery being created first hand and encouraged use ask questions. Really made us feel at home!

Half day tour of Naxos provided a nice overview of the island. Got to visit the Temple of Demeter, villages, olive oil mill and a distillery to name a few of the locations.

Our driver/guide Dimitri was perfect! Told us all about the areas as we drove through and each stop was interesting and unique. It was a perfect day.

Georgios is a very knowledgeable guide! We learned a lot about the agricultural history of Naxos Island. We loved the pottery shop and beautiful church devoted to the Virgin Mary. There were many more stops too!

This was a great tour to experience the major attractions of Naxos and to find out what other things you might want to do with the remaining time on the island . VERY helpful and accommodating guide .

Lovely 1/2 day tour of this beautiful mountaineous island! Tour guide Spiros was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we had interesting stops along the way in the quaint villages , olive oil production shop & local liquor distillery Recommend doing it in the morning as my tour was at 2 it did get quite hot in the afternoon.

We went to the village of Kaloxylos to a family Olive Oil tour. Fascinating to see the old presses, the first establishment to have electricity, and all of the wonderful history. Next we went to a family farm, to meet Marie & Yannis. We had a cooking class, but before that started Marie filled her kitchen table with the most delicious foods! Then we cooked, and ate, and ate. We were also offered Yannis’s very fine wine. This couple , is why visitors, fall deeply in love with Greece.

We thought we booked a private half day tour with a local guide. It seems that we had just booked a local driver. He provided little-to-no guidance of any sort. In fact, he did not even join us for any of the sites (Temple of Demeter, ceramic shop, olive oil tasting) with the exception of the local liqueur tasting. This was not worth the premium price tag for a private local guide. We would have had a similar but much less expensive experience with a taxi driver. Definitely skip this tour.

Lida, our tour guide gave us her everything! Her explanation, knowledge and passion of Naxos. She could see we were enthralled and took us to other areas she knew we would love! I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you include in your holiday plans. Enjoy this amazing experience in Naxos!

The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the island, sharing not only history and culture but also great local stories that brought everything to life. I really appreciated the personal touches—like recommendations for local food and hidden gems—that made the experience feel unique and authentic. Transportation was comfortable, communication was clear, and everything was very well organized. I left the tour with a much deeper appreciation of Naxos and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, the vehicle was very comfortable for our group. The stops on this tour were excellent. We especially enjoyed to olive tasting!

Our tour guide, Gergory, was wonderful and informative. I expected to be on a larger tour, but we were picked up in a very nice private car and got a one on one tour with our guide. We saw ancient ruins, a pottery shop, olive grove and olive oil pressing process, and toured through some small villages in the heart of Naxos.

Alex was a wonderful tour guide and had a great knack for “reading the room” with our kids (7/11/13 year olds). The time spent at each stop was well-balanced- not too long or short. The locals at the locations were welcoming and informative. This was a wonderful way to get to know the essence of Naxos and see the interior of the island.

Great introduction to the island of Naxos. Well worth the price. Our guide Dimitri was great. After our tour we now have a mu h better idea of what we want to do and where we want to go.

Our driver was great and we had a wonderful time exploring the island. We were able to see the highlights of the island with a personal driver which was very nice as he could tailor it to our needs.

My wife and I took this tour and absolutely loved it. Gregory was the perfect guide, so nice, informative, polite, and always made sure we were comfortable and having fun. The tour is wonderful and really shows the beauty of Naxos. 10/10!

The half-day tour was the perfect way for us to see the highlights of Naxos. We had not planned to do too much tourist-type activities on our holiday to Naxos, preferring to just enjoy the beach and the sun. However the half-day tour provided a great options for us to see a number of the key cultural highlights of the island in a relaxed, easy way. Our tour guide was very informative and took us all over showing us some of the best cultural sites. Highlights were the Pottery Workshop and the Olive Oil Tour and Tasting. At the end, we were dropped off back at our hotel in time for an evening swim.

Dmitris was the best- we had a great and stress free time exploring temples and villages. Loved stopping at the olive press museum and kitron distillery too. He gave us some great tips for driving around the island.

Dimitris was very personal. He did an excellent job driving us all over the island and taking us to many highlight spots.
