The food and service were amazing! We had the private cabana and snorkeling. The attendant had drinks ready for us every time we finished a cup. I don't even like fish but the fried fish and tartar sauce were insanely good! Best food of my vacation by far!

We had a really great time on Pearl Island! The cabana was 100% worth what we paid. The cabana itself had clean comfy recliners, fans, outlets, and a stunning view. A highlight was the service we received from Watson who had fresh drinks ready for is before we could even ask. The lunch was really good, better than my expectation. The fish served was white, flaky and flavorful and the other carribean food include was also delicious. This will be our go to spot in Nassau going forward.
The cabana is awesome but the list of drinks included in the all inclusive package is very limited..
Just got here spent 180 person . Don’t have a fan don’t get towels Have to pay for drinks what the helly . Not feeling this excursion at all.
We booked two adults one kid. Got tiny cabana with only two lounges. The lunch was gross. Basically pile of rice with 5 beans, pile of cabbage one tiny chicken leg and some fish nuggets lol Ocean got better in the afternoon There was trash floating around too I picked up plenty People who did pigs etc were all happy People off the cruise ships were fine too Cabanas are absolutely not worth it.
We paid $450 for three of us Cabana only had two lounges They were nice though Good was terrible I mean we made the best out of it. Service was great Guys really hassle We brought cash to tip Those hardworking young men deserve the tip. As far as booking that cabana omg no no lol Not worth it.
Everyone was very nice and attentive, felt safe when snorkeling and enjoyed the cabanas and the private beach. Wish we had more time there and will be back!!
My family and I really enjoyed the private cabana experience. Everything was so beautiful just so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this service.
The VIP Cabana Experience was great! I went alone and purchased two tickets to maintain the 2 guest required minimum. Arrived at the Paradise Wharf Ferry terminal and made the short walk to Margaritaville which was the meet up spot for this excursion. (From the Nassau cruise port in about 20 minutes. $7 one way, this was not included in the booking). From there I got my wrist band, and awaited the 11am ferry that was scheduled to take us. The ferry ride to Pearl Island was very pleasant. Upon arrival the staff was very accommodating and attentive. I had a dedicated server who was excellent. The cabana was well appointed with two very comfortable and plush lounge chairs, and two fans which were much appreciated in the heat. There were 4 signature cocktails that were available as part of the all inclusive package and there was a full cash bar for any other cocktails. I am not a beer or wine drinker so can’t speak to what was or was not included in the all inclusive package from that regard. Lunch was a set menu of BBQ Chicken, a breaded fish steak, rice with beans and coleslaw. The lunch was perfectly fine. The water was magnificent, it never felt too crowded. I have read a lot of reviews about the conditions of the non VIP beach loungers being a bit torn and tattered. I did notice that on the beach end however I think it’s more of a “you get what you pay for” situation as my cabana was excellent as mentioned previously. If you are looking for a special beach day on a private island that is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable, I highly recommend you book the VIP Cabanas at Pearl Island.
Awesome little island to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and get a great sun tan. Employees are awesome and very attentive!
Meeting place was incorrect and number was not in service, communication was bad they contacted us the following day.
Beach crowded; food mediocre; swimming are filled with thousands of baby jellyfish that stung!! Service and comfort of Cabana good. Wouldn't do it again.
The experience listed 11-4 but we came back to the terminal about 40 min earlier. The food was amazing. We did the snorkeling, that could’ve been done on our own without the added expense, but was still great. Saw ALOT of beautifully colored fish. No turtles.
Left earlier than departure time, and didn't refund after spending hundreds of dollars on this trip.
They literally left us when we walked up at 10:45 am excursion started at 11:00 am and when a person who knew the people called to have them turn around they said no even when they said they could take us to a certain point for pick up. RIDICULOUS do NOT BOOK with them!!!!!!! Spent $400 for my booking waste of time and money!!!!
The cabanas were under renovation during our visit, so we did not get the experience we expected. Instead, we were given a large private area, but it had poor access to the water and felt quite boring. If you’re planning a trip to Pearl Island, I would recommend purchasing a regular day pass rather than paying extra for a cabana. Additionally, the pickup process was confusing. We were not picked up directly from the cruise ship as expected and instead had to take a water taxi to the pickup location. Overall, the experience was not worth the amount of money we paid.
Boat was late about 20 minutes and cabana had broken uncomfortable chairs. The tour rep Rene was terrific and our cabana server gave great service!!!! The drinks were watered down and everything on the island was run down or broken. I don’t recommend this tour! Instead go to Rose Island Sandy Toes tour for better service and experience!
We had a great experience on Pearl Island and would definitely book again! Transportation was well organized and on time. Customer service was great from the beginning. I had a question about the best way to get to the ferry terminal and they responded to my email in a timely manner. They also emailed us the morning of to let us know they were renovating their cabanas so we would be given a complimentary upgrade to a villa. The food was fantastic and the beaches were lovely. My only complaint is that it was a short day. They boat taking you to the island leaves at 11am and you have to be back on the boat at 315. It's only a 15 minute ride but by the time you get situated in your cabana and get in the water you have an hour to swim, an hour for lunch and then another hour before you have to pack up and get back to the boat. I would have loved more time to explore the island and enjoy some of the water activities that were included aside from swimming. Otherwise our trip was fantastic and I would definitely recommend.
This little island is stunning! Crystal clear water and so much fun to spend the day there. It was nice to have a shaded cabana with food/drink service. My only complaint is the chairs were broken so you kind of fall through them in spots. We didn’t spend a lot of time in them so it wasn’t a huge deal but it was a bit uncomfortable. The ferry ride was great and only about 20-25 minutes from the dock. Overall, we loved our day on Pearl Island. We even saw some starfish near the dock.
We had a great time, but it was too short. Would have loved to spend the entire day there. The only other thing is my food could have been hotter (temperature-wise) but it was delicious regardless.
Great private beach. I got a cabana and it was worth it. Had a conch salad that we had to pay separate but it was citrus goodness. The lunch provided was a great bbq chicken with rice and fish perfect after swimming. Island has tons of great views for pictures. My wife and I went snorkeling and the instructors there were amazing. The length on the island is good not to long to get extra sunburned.
Booking was easy, we had to move the date, that was just as easy and free. The cabana had padded loungers, a ceiling fan and the island had many places to explore including a lighthouse. The lunch was hearty and delicious. Our cabana attendant, Watson, took really good care of us bringing our food to the cabana and replenishing our bucket of water and beer many times. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the time promised. It’s not really a full 5 hours. You don’t board the ferry until 11 and that’s when your time starts, and they start boarding to go back at 3:05 leaving by 3:15/3:30. You basically only have 3 1/2hrs on the island to enjoy all the amenities. This excursion needs to be at least “6hrs” I would prefer 7!
Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Very quick and attentive service. The drinks were tasty, as was lunch. We did the cabana package which included snorkeling with a guide. It was a lot of fun and you see an amazing array of tropical fish.
I unfortunately came down ill on my trip, a RC cruise. I was stuck confined to the ship and realized that I would not be able to physically go on an excursion. So I reached out to Viator and informed them of my situation. The communication was easy, and they were trying to help me find a solution. I hoped for a refund since I was notifying them within 24 hours of the excursion (they did not have to give it per policy) and to my delight, within just a couple of days, they refunded my trip excursion (~$400 trip for two). I could not have been more grateful and would have understood if they did not. I must say that they have a Wonderful app, customer service, and communication as the excursion approaches. I will use this company again in the future.
We had a great experience. We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy the beach and this served that up. There weren't too many people on the island and the cabanas weren't full so we didn't have any immediate neighbors. The weather was perfect, the water clear, and our server (Junior) was attentive. We aren't drinkers so can't attest to the cocktails, but we enjoyed the lunch and soft drinks. All in all, we thought it was worth the money! The only thing that would make it better would be if they did a round trip boat from the cruise port instead of from the Paradise Island ferry terminal.
My husbands rating 2/10 My rating 9/10 His complaints: you cannot snorkel or kayak around the Island. There is a very small beach area that you are allowed to use. Also you cannot explore the Island, part of it is private. The snorkeling is another tiny area and is appointment based for 30 mins. I on the other hand enjoyed it, the cabana was great, the butler was amazing and the snorkeling was fun, there were statues and sunken boat, airplane etc. With lots of colorful fish. The lunch wasn't to my taste at all since I don't eat chicken legs or fish, but I'm used to that since I am fussy. If you know what to expect when booking I'm sure you will love it. We just expected for my husband to be able to snorkel/ kayak around the small island while I enjoyed the cabana. If I had known, I would not have booked the excursion. In my mind it was not worth the $500 that I paid for it.
Malcolm took exceptional care of our group of 14. Was a bit breezy but we had a great time.
Great experience, highly recommend! Organisation was great, everything run smooth Just a quick 20 minutes ferry ride and you can live the real Bahamian life. The ocean water was beautiful. The island is very well maintained. Bathroom and showers available. The cabanas are great and comfortable. Lunch was simple and good, drinks were great! We had lovely time, we just wished we had a few hours more ahahaha
The coral reef was full of beautiful fish in every colour of the rainbow. I thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling here. I saw sea urchins, sea cucumbers and many types of coral. The water temperature is quite pleasant after you move around a lot. I also kayaked but didn’t do paddle boarding because of the windy conditions. You are confined to a somewhat small space for kayaking and swimming.
Great day, well organized. Lunch was good and plenty. Ivan, Watson were very attentive to our needs. AJ, our snorkel guide was fabulous and showed us many types of fish. The water is so clear, it’s amazing!
There were issues with this trip, like we were in a group cabana but the chairs in the group did not have cushions, the WIFI was out and they did not have towels due the their washers not working. The booking company did refund 20% due to these issues and made it right. It is old and not the best from an upkeep perspective. The service was great overall.
Cabana.. not on beach, but 2nd floor! Snorkel, beach toys not available on our time as deceived, but were tours
As a travel agent, I was really excited about this but this excursion was a huge disappointment & more of a hassle than anything. We waited around for the ferry in the morning for almost 2 hours. The employees at the ferry terminal told us that someone didn't show up for work, that was why it took so long. There was a lot of miscommunication throughout the day. Even though the excursion said round trip transportation was included; the ferry terminal made us pay for one way tickets. Pearl Island itself is beautiful and quiet. The "private cabana" was definitely not worth it. It was not private at all; it was run down & needed major updating. The ceiling fans didn't work. The pillows smelled like mildew. The food & drinks were terrible. Our food came out cold. The majority of the plate was filled with rice & beans. About a quarter of the plate had a scoop of coleslaw, a chicken leg & nuggets of fish. The coleslaw was warm; everything else was cold. We couldn't bite through the chicken, it was extremely hard and rubbery. The rice had no taste. The fish was actually really good but it was cold & and only 3 tiny pieces . The drinks were terrible as well; they were made extremely strong. I asked for juice to mix it with & the it was warm. When we asked about snorkeling, we were told they didn't have that "today". We asked about the water inflatables & we were told that area wasn't open. This was not worth even half of what we paid. We were supposed to be there for the day & only ended up being there for 2 1/2 hours. Definitely NOT worth the money. I will not recommend this to any of my clients.
Jr was our cabana attendant and was absolutely amazing. We also did the guided snorkel tour on the reef by the lighthouse and saw so many different fish. Beautiful views. 10/10 recommend!
Very private and relaxing experience! They truly mean unlimited drinks too! Also, the service was very friendly and fast. Highly recommended!
My overall FAVORITE excursion. Everytime I go, the crew I go with have the best time. The scenery (10/10) The service (10/10) Shout out to Varbie and Ken!🫶🏻 The music (10/10) The food (10/10) The Drinks (10/10) Our least favorite part was leaving! My family will be coming back as soon as possible
Had a very relaxing day amazing views beautiful crystal clearwater white sand beach with great service. The lunch was excellent would definitely repeat
We booked a cabana. Super friendly, safe and clean. Lunch was great. Snorkeling was wonderful, saw tons of fish and felt safe with the guides as the current was strong the day we went. If you are coming off a ship, you need to take a taxi to the port ferry by Margaritaville. That was a little confusing. They bring you back to a different port you can easily walk back to ship. We booked the 11:00 and stayed until 3:30. We had a full hour of the ocean to a small group. I would go later again because you miss a lot of time with the large ship excursion crowds.
Definitely recommend this trip. Great experience snorkeling and the cabana with the service was amazing. Walter took great care of us. And the beach was spectacular.
If you are coming off a cruise ship allow yourself plenty of time to get to the ferry terminal by taxi. The taxi drivers wait until they have a full car of 12 passengers and it can take a while! The Pearl Island ferry crew and island staff are amazing 🤩 very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately a huge thunderstorm hit about an hour after we got to the island so snorkelling was cancelled as well as all other water activities, but the staff helped to make the experience fun. Food is ok, not great, but ok and drinks are good.
Nice day and lunch was delicious- island vibe not luxury but we enjoyed it! Great view and service. Sea was rough so snorkeling but that was no fault of vendor.
The day didn’t exactly start out like a dream… The cruise ship docked at a completely different port than where we were supposed to meet for the boat ride to the island—zero signage or direction, which made things a little chaotic and frustrating right off the bat. Thankfully, the staff at our port were absolute lifesavers and kindly let us hitch a ride on their boat to get us there (and back). But once we actually made it to the island? Chef’s kiss. The cabana was perfect, the service was top-tier, food was delish, and the drinks? Strong and steady—just how I like 'em. 🥂 Overall, the only downside was the logistical mess at the start. If they iron that out, it’s a 5-star experience all day long.
This was a great experience! All the staff were very friendly. The snorkeling was great, tons of fish and the guide was very helpful. I would definitely do this again.
It was nice . Food was ok. Service was good . Expensive for quality . Would do again . Wish food and drinks were better
The experience was nice we left on time at 11 and it said approximately 5 hours long but we had to be on the boat by 3pm so it was 1 hour less than expected so wanted to enjoy the whole time especially since it was 180 per person. The beach was beautiful and server was nice. The snorkeling wasn't that great water was choppy so just got in and was out fast.
Delightful day on a nice island! It was great to have a cabana and the service was great. Snorkeling was pretty good. Just a relaxing and lovely day. Worth it!
I did not know what to expect when I booked, but I loved the idea of a private group cabana for my family. I love the beach but need shade. Four chaise lounge chairs, side tables, a couch, and chairs with foot stools all under a shade roof provided more than enough seating for us. People could choose to be in the sun or shade. Having a cabana attendant take drink orders and serve our lunch made for a wonderful, relaxing day. Drinks and food included! Felt pampered! Beautiful ocean view and lots to do- snorkel, kayak, enjoy floating slide and trampoline, swim, etc. in a private setting. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend and would definitely book again. Almost forgot- you can check out the lighthouse if you need a break from the water and lounging.
This was an amazing experience. The tour guides are very friendly and helpful. It is worth every penny.
Way too windy and cold so only had lunch and had to leave. Will probably try again another time, thank you
Amazing views, very relaxing and superior service. The staff is attentive and always making sure you have what you need. The island is small and welcoming.
