Nassau Swimming Pigs: Snorkeling, Lunch & Private Beach Club

A great 4 hour experience for a cruise stop. Meet up is a short 5 minute walk from the port. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also very affordable for beach, lunch, pigs, and snorkeling.

The experience fell short, starting with the food. Guests had to choose from a menu and submit their order at check-in (a hot dog, wings or a burger with a couple other items also not impressive). The food itself was awful. Allen, the host who runs the island, was a poor communicator and made the experience worse. He yelled at guests, and when someone caught a cramp in the water and started screaming for help, he brushed it off and suggested it was partly their own fault. And no one from the actual event went out to help the person in distress. Someone else passing on another boat jumped in to bring him to shore. Although the tour advertises swimming with the pigs, our group ended up just standing on the beach. This was due to Allen's unclear directions, which he gave while playing loud music. The island itself was beautiful, although the water a bit rougher than near where we stayed but the experience was a letdown overall. The one bright spot was the boat crew: Johnny and the captain were excellent on both trips, to and from the island.

Wonderful staff!! They really went above and beyond to make our experience fun and memorable. Pigs were super fun, loved the private beach, lunch was good.

We had the best time the workers was helpful and playful.they took nice pictures of us .they put our own music.we danced together we played soccer with it was beautiful..I would definitely come back here again .

Wanted to plan a shore excursion while in Nassau when on a Caribbean cruise but didn't want to pay the extortionate cruise ship prices. Did lots of research and booked the Swimming Pigs/snorkelling/lunch trip with the Bahamas Jet Boat company through Trip Adviser. I'm so glad I did! This was the best shore day that we had on our cruise. Everything from start to finish was superb. We booked the 4 hour option for 10:30 and were back in plenty of time for our ship boarding of 4:30pm. It was an easy 10 min walk to their location from the cruise terminal. Their location had an office with complimentary cold water and rum punch so the fun started before we even left! The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The trip itself was brilliant. The boat trip out was fun, our guide pointed out millionaires mansions on the water front as we past and once on the private island I can only describe it as idyllic. The crystal clear water and white sandy beach was exactly as seen on advertising and TV! The pig feeding was great fun, the staff took lots of photos which were free for us to have via an email link and we hired a Jet ski while on the island for a very reasonable price which was awesome. Endless rum punch and water was available and the food provided was ok. There were inflatables in the sea to have fun with and the boat trip back was a scream with music and dancing at the front of the boat which a few of the kids on the trip joined in with. On our way back was a 30 min snorkelling session on a reef which was just fantastic. Saw lots of fish and the equipment provided was all very clean and looked brand new. Overall this was a fabulous day out. If you are looking at booking an excursion in Nassau then do not hesitate to book with these guys, they were all amazing!

Quick and easy check in, very friendly and personable. Food was great and so many good photos. My 1 and 3 year old loved the pigs!

We left late and got back early so it’s not 4 hours. Very short boat ride. The boat was nice also. Snorkeling was maybe 20 minutes. Everyone was very nice though. The water was rough so the pigs didn’t swim. If you can book the cruise on the calm side of the island, you’ll get to swim with them regardless of the water. There is no where to buy anything so pack what you want to drink unless you’re good with rum punch, ginger ale and water.

This was a great outing. The weather was not the greatest so the water sports were closed for safety reasons. The operator gave us the option to cancel for a full refund at the last minute. No one did cancel but it was a good option. We still ll got to feed the pigs and go snorkeling. A great adventure even though Mother Nature was a pain.

the team did such an outstanding job. despite the weather, they really managed our expectations and still provided us a beautiful experience, getting to see the pigs, snorkeling and enjoying the island.

This excursion did not live up to the description or video they showed before we boarded the boat. I was looking forward to all the beach games, but only the hatchet toss was set out. It was a much smaller area than expected. The banana boat was an extra $20 per person and snorkeling was only allotted 5 mins. There was 1 trampoline and 1 floating table, but probably 40 + guests at any given time so not much opportunity to enjoy anything besides seeing the pigs. The experience makes it appear the interaction with the pigs is a bit more organic and you are just around them, but they herd them in and out so it’s quite busy with new people every time then come out so was harder to get solo photos than expected. Lastly, I thought I had read unlimited alcoholic beverages, but it was truly for rum punch only. Not even an option to purchase anything else. Rum punch is really sweet so difficult to drink just that for 4 hrs so would have been nice to switch and have a beer or something else. Also the rum punch was in a big igloo cooler so it was cool, but certainly not cold. Everyone was nice and friendly, but expected more for the amount paid

This was an AMAZING experience!! We have done a lot of excursions all over, and my husband was hesitant the pigs would be fun. Once we got out there he loved it! We took our 8 and 12 year old girls who also had a blast. The office where we waited for the boat was clean and cool, staff were friendly, and they had drinks for the wait. Once we walked to the dock where the boat was we were super impressed. It was beautiful and clean with plenty of shade and covered spots. The ride to the island was nice because they point out celebrity houses and tell you about the local culture. The little private island they took us to was phenomenal! Not overly crowded, enough lounge chairs and umbrellas for everyone, tons of beverages, and the food was so good. My girls loved lounging on the beach sofa in the ocean and jumping on the trampoline. The photoop swing was a great touch. The vibes were fun and family friendly, but I also saw lots of younger kid free adults having fun. The water is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The rocky beach didn’t bother me, it was only right when you walk out but clears up quickly. Some beaches are rocky, even in paradise… that’s just nature. I was also grateful they offered the cruise friendly option because we were nervous about the timeframe. It was perfect! My girls rated it a 20 out of 10.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most amazing time celebrating my birthday on this excursion! The views were beautiful, the music was great, the unlimited rum punch was delicious, and there were so many fun activities to enjoy at the beach. As a non-swimmer, I was sooo nervous about snorkeling, but the staff made me feel so safe and comfortable that I got to snorkel with my boyfriend for the very first time! 🥹❤️ The hospitality was incredible, and we truly felt right at home. The pictures included in our package were also beautiful and emailed to us the SAME DAY! Overall, an unforgettable experience, and we would absolutely love to come back. Thank you for making my birthday so special! 🌴☀️💕

The experience was awesome; it took you to a private beach, and lunch was great. You were able to pick from a menu what you wanted to eat, so there was an option for everyone. The pigs were an amazing experience, but the snorkeling was subpar. Although the fish were beautiful, having to use a life jacket made it difficult to actually snorkel. The excursion was also about 10 minutes and in one confined area, so everyone in the group was kind of on top of each other. I loved our tour guides on the boat; they made us feel welcome and explained a lot, but the staff down at the check-in spot was not my favorite. Yes, they were nice, but before booking, I asked if I would make it to a 1030am excursion if my cruise docked at 1030am and they said yes, no problem. Come to find out that was not true, luckily it was my partner and I and we knew where to go and how to get there fast but as we arrived we saw our group was leaving. When I expressed that there were other people from our cruise heading this way for the same excursion, they said Oh well, they missed it, and you barely made it as is. This was frustrating, as I had sent them a message at 9:40 am letting them know our cruise had not docked yet and confirming we would make it. When I brought it to their attention, they said, " Oh, we just saw it and were going to respond". That was a bit unprofessional, but we were still able to join the excursion and enjoy it. Very well worth the money compared to other guides who charge more.

The boat, staff, and the pigs were a lot fun. The baby pig was adorable. The beach was clean and comfortable.

This was a lovely excursion and well organized once we were there. I will say the instructions for arriving at the “Bahamas Jet Boat” office were a tad confusing. I walked in the correct direction but it was difficult to find the office. If you don’t have GPS/ Service- ask a local to plug it into Google Maps and double check where you are going. Overall, the day was well spent. My friend and I chose the regular time with lunch, snorkel and piggies. We arrived back with time to spare to board our cruise again. Lunch was filling and the beach was very nice.

Amazing boat ride! My 8-year-old daughter loved feeding and holding the pigs! Lex was a great guide…and the food was pleasant as well.

This was the perfect excursion for our family. The staff were all wonderful and we really enjoyed our time at the beach, meeting the pigs and snorkeling. It was just the right amount of time for each activity.

Some of us were more excited about the pigs than others; but we all had a great time! The staff was friendly, helpful, and fun. The made-to-order lunch and rum punch were delicious. The equipment and facilities were clean and well maintained. The snorkeling on the protected reef near Pearl Island was also great. We were visiting on a cruise ship, but still had plenty of time for the 4-hour tour.

Great experience with all of the crew and activities. Everything was very organized, on time, and Johnny was a great guide.

This was a very chaotic event but if you can remain calm you will have fun. The seagulls will dive for the food you are trying to feed the pigs. Pigs are aggressive but again remain calm follow instructions and you will get to see big and little piggies swim by. Yes the pigs poop in the water but staff scoops it up quickly. The food is decent for a shack on a remote island in the Bahamas. There are a lot of photo ops and they have complimentary photos of the day. Saw a stingray swim by in the water. The snorkeling portion is about 15 minutes. They throw bread in to attract the fish and it is cool to watch them swim. Sit on the back of the boat to be off first for snorkeling and the front of the boat for first dibs on beach loungers. Johnny and Captain D were the best! All in all a good excursion but the pigs do go a little “hog wild”.

This was SO worth it! Beautiful boat ride, swim and feed the pigs (and hold a baby pig), lunch and drinks and snorkeling! I would definitely do this again! The staff was amazing!

We had a WONDERFUL experience. Highly recommend this company and the guide. My family had a blast and we tried things like snorkeling for the first time and the boat ride was fun. I say get there early! We got really good spots being the first round and got to see the pigs multiples times.

Great value! For lunch, get the wings. They were the best I've ever had. Pigs were bigger than I anticipated, but provided a unique experience and several laughs. The snorkeling was great too. We saw a lot of fishes.

Very friendly people just got mixed stuff that came through some said that jet ski were free to get there and we got there and would of had to pay. Rum punch was very good though and didn't let that stop our trip from going good!!

Booked this tour and as always a little skeptical through Viator, BUT we were so pleasantly surprised. The check in details were super easy as we met at the port area. The Jet boy office was nice and clean. The boat I’m not going to lie I was nervous because I tend to get motion sickness but it was a super clean nice boat and such an easy 20 min ride to the island. The island water was SOOOOO amazing. Bring your own goggles/snorkles(for the island). That was my only pet peeve since I forgot mine and the waters were crystal blue! We got to see the pigs and feed them. We also had a great lunch provided by the jet boys company with unlimited water, soda and rum. Lastly they did take us on a 15 min snorkel activity where we jumped off the boat and was so incredible. For the island bring a towel, snorkels, waterproof phone case, sunblock !! I’d do this again thank you so much for the great experience!

The staff was fantastic and the trip was so much fun. Lots of interaction with the pigs, then snorkeling at a reef with lots of fish. We had a great time and made wonderful memories.

Awesome experience from the beginning to end, we had a good time at the beach with the pigs, lunch, snorkeling, the staff very friendly.

From checking in, the boat ride to the island to the experience of feeding the pigs. Everyone very attentive and make sure that we all had a great time.. a few things I would definitely take bottles of water, water shoes, and some extra Cash because they deserve a tip starting with the guys on the island to the boat captain who takes you snorkeling and makes sure that you have a wonderful time. I can’t stress enough definitely worth the money

It was fun and exciting, would definitely come back. The hosts were entertaining and funny. And experience you won't forget!

We really wanted to make it to the exuma islands as first time travelers to The Bahamas. We were not sure a full day trip( 8 hours) , 1 hour on a speed boat ride to the exumas and and 1 hour back, plus a full 6 hour day would be the best for us. As a last resort we opted for a much shorter 4 hour experience with a travel time of no more than 20 minutes to manda bay and 20 minutes back, on a super well kept catamaran. It was perfect!!!! Interaction with the piggies, got to hang out the at the beach with the most beautiful clear water, a full meal at the beach, unlimited drinks, clean restrooms, games, water slide, music cool host, and snorkeling. It was amazing to us and very glad we did this option instead. We definitely reccomend it for those who are hesitant to spend a whole day at sea!

So fun! I recommend water shoes since the beach is a little rocky. All of the staff was super friendly and the food was really good.
