Nassau Pirate Rum Adventure

Absolutely amazing! We had Mad Mary and Captain Chester/Coaster for our tour. They were so much fun!!!!!! The tour and info was great, in and of itself, but they made it even more fun! Highly recommend this tour and especially if you can get in with Mad Mary and Captain Chester/Coaster! BTW, they both deserve raises!

Great experience And great fun

Chester, Slim Jim, and RRRRicardo were AMAZING. Picked us up on time, and the fun and laughs started immediately. Plenty of alcohol, got schooled in Bahamian Dominoes, and laughed til my sides hurt! I gotta admit, the tail end of the tour is a little foggy, but I've got great pics and videos to remind me. Thanks, guys, you are the best!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our guides Captain Coaster and Captain Mad Mary. They shared their knowledge of the island and they had great senses of humor. They made the stops seamless. It felt like we were getting a personal tour. One critique was that we felt slightly rushed at the distillery, but we were held up briefly by rain at the previous stop. We would definitely recommend this tour experience to those visiting Nassau!

I highly recommend this tour! My friend’s brother did it in April and raved about it. We immediately hit it off with Captains Mad Mary and Chester. We like to have a good time and interact with everyone and so do they! We had four in our group and another great couple with us (shout out to Don & Allison). The crew arrived early, the vehicle was immaculate, and their hospitality welcoming. On the way to our first stop, we immediately got an entertaining history lesson from Mad Mary while she engaged each one of us. The 1st stop is a lovely brewery where you sample a flight. It’s the first time I liked every option in the flight. Next we went to a winery. I’m not a wine person but it was a quaint place and the sample was good. Across the street was a chocolate store with enough options to keep a sweet-tooth like me acting like a kid. Then we sampled the moonshine. Chester leads this event and even if you don’t like moonshine it’s a great experience. The rum tasting followed and again, a good time with good rum. If you do not like to have fun do not do this tour. You may or may not like the samples but it’s a great experience and you get to see the island!

Chester & Mary made this tour so much fun. Very informative, funny & kind. We all loved their positive energy.

Wife and I were very impressed. We had Slim Jim as our primary guide along with Captain Chester. Very fun and informative guides with a lot of great tasting drinks ranging from beer, moonshine, wine, and rum (all is rum in the Bahamas we learned). Also some interesting historical facts about pirate and Bahama history. Would highly recommend

We had an awesome time with Mad Mary (aka Captain Boots 😂) and Chester! And definitely ask Chester to show you the photo of Captain Boots! We booked this excursion last minute, and we’re so glad we did. We learned a lot about the island, but honestly, the best part was just getting to know our tour guides. Mary and Chester were hilarious, friendly, and made the whole experience so much fun. I’d absolutely recommend this excursion even if you don’t drink. But if you DO like to drink… this is definitely the excursion for you! 😂🍹 Thanks, Captain Boots and Chester, for such a great time!

Mad Mary and Chester were amazing! The energy was high and entertaining. Mad Mary was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. The only down side was one of the stops was closed. The moonshine was the best. Would do this adventure again!

Saw different spots, beer tap room, wine, chocolate, moonshine, Rum and cocktails. We especially enjoyed interacting with our tour guides and learning some history of the Bahamas. I liked the moonshine the most (it hit the spot)

Chester and Mary were wonderful guides who did a great job bringing the fun and friendliness to the pirate rum tour! We had a fun afternoon seeing Nassau and visiting some of the unique breweries, distilleries, and wineries in the area. We had a great time!

Slim Jim and his partner were awesome. Very nice, super helpful, willing to share their experiences as Bahamians, and were very safe. They did a great job to not make it feel like a sketchy tourist trap and more like a genuine way to experience a small part of their cultural and country.

Captain Silver (tour guide) was a Bahamian local that not only knew her history of the islands but also the local events, customs, holidays…the details that made the tour very interesting as well as the beverage samples. Absolutely interested in going back to several spots on the tour to learn more and experience the culture. Highly recommend.

The guides were very interactive and knowledgeable of the site locations.

Mad Mary and Chester made my trip! Not only was the tour fact filled but incredibly fun. All of the stops were local favorites with delicious drinks. Chester and Mary ensured that our tour was laughter filled and worth every penny. I’ve taken rum tours in my previous visits but this was by far the best. Will be taking again upon my next trip here. Shout out to them for making our experience unique. If you are debating it…just do it!

Captain Yellow Fin and Captain Coaster were amazing tour guides! Fun, Knowledgeable and easy to talk to! My husband and I had a fantastic time! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent day tour, with few exciting stops with beer, rum and wine tastings. Great tour commentary by our lady Captain Mad Mary and supported by driver Captain Chester. Lots of fun, some history lessons, and great camaraderie with other attendees. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day in Nassau!!!

Captain Coaster & Pirate Two-Tone Tony were perfect guides for our rum tour. We were picked up & dropped off at our hotel. Multiple locations were visited during our tour…Rip Tyde - craft beer, Barrels Winery - wine tasting, Graycliff - moonshine tasting & John Watley’s Distillery - rum sampling & be sure to sample if not purchase the best Pina Colda. During the scenic drive through Nassau we had great conversations about Nassau’s history and the people’s love of the island. Two-Tone Tony taught us how to play dominos while we enjoyed our craft beer. We had a great time laughing with these two 🏴‍☠️ Perfectly safe for solo attendees. These two are top notch & took great care of us. Highly recommended this tour.

We had a great time with Pirate “Mad Mary.” She was so much fun. My adult children were somewhat skeptical when they heard that I had booked this activity but it couldn’t have gone better. The stops were all quite different and had a bit for everyone and we played games along the way which was surprisingly entertaining. Mary was a great tour guide. Very personable and was really the one who made the trip what it was. The pirate rum tour with Mad Mary was one of the highlights of our trip to the Bahamas.
