Need to preplan an intinerary before going - they do give you a sheet with 3-4 interesting places to visit, but you have to use your maps on your phone to find them. Traffic and parking downtown near the straw market is very challenging - limited free parking.
The side by side that was excellent, but when we got there a storm moved in and there was no protection from that element so we only used it for an hour an half, drove it to Atlantis walk around Atlantis and then drove it right back and turn it in so we did not enjoy the day at all… I have contacted Your customer service team for a refund for the time we miss out on…
The gals running this place were super nice, knowledgeable, and funny. Having the ability to drive around Nassau and see things outside of the cruise ship area was awesome. Lots of historical sights, wildlife, and fun. They make pick up and drop off incredibly easy. Good stuff, will do again if we are ever back!
Was easy to book , communicate with provider. Traveled with group of friends, there was 6 of us and we fit comfortably. We used a saved Google Maps with preplanned ideas we researched before hand - would recommend. We used $20 worth of gas and just paid the provider instead of stopping. We toured the island from 11 am to 430 ish pm and was relatively easy to get around. The shuttle service from cruise port was easy to navigate there and back. Would highly recommend for a fun experience. Should not that some of our group has been to Nassau quite few times so we felt comfortable navigating as well. The starting point is right next to queens staircase so start there !
We had a fantastic experience renting a buggy in Nassau! Elisa got us checked in quickly and made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. Lisa, our shuttle driver, was an absolute delight! She gave us a fun little tour on the way to pick up the buggy and made the ride enjoyable from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The buggy was great, and we had absolutely no issues during our rental. The entire experience was smooth, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely rent from them again the next time we're in Nassau!
What an absolute blast driving one of these vehicles in Nassau. They can really get with it! We were able to visit all the highlights of Nassau during our time off the cruise. It was easy to get to the location from the port and everything worked well. We drove it the whole day and barely used any gas. I would highly recommend.
Great experience. We were in Paradise Island and it was good to get out and explore. We went to multiple locations. Saunders Beach, had a cooler in the back that we brought and put some snacks and drink drinks and just beach hopped most of the day. Hit some good places to eat as well.

The rental process was easy. Driving around the island at our own pace was a good way to see the island. Plan ahead and have a list of places you want to go, we didn’t plan anything and I feel like we didn’t use our time wisely.
We enjoyed the self guided utv tour we were able to do what we choose. We did a rum factory tour. Also we did the fish fry and the queens stairs
The people at Bowcar were friendly, polite, and professional. The buggy was clean , modern and ready to go NOTE: when they give you a choice of windshield or no windshield definitely get the windshield!!!! We did not get a windshield in regretted it. It rained twice, hard. And definitely wished we had gotten the windshield would’ve made a huge difference. One more thing our buggy did not have blinkers/indicators Not sure why, but definitely would’ve helped Other than that, we had a great time We drove to the end of the island where Jaws beach is and it was so beautiful!!!!
It could not of gone any better. I got off the boat, said to a lady asking if anyone needs a taxi, "where do I go for bowcar". She opened a gate then they were right there ready to go. A shuttle arrived in about 10 minutes and took as to pick up the sxs. They ran through everything and quickly knowing I wanted maximum time to explore the island on my day in port. It had some minor scraches and a couple small broken trim pieces, but they pointed out everything, and none affected our use for the day. We also loved the bluetooth speaker and having our own vehicle was so much better than waiting on a bus tour to explore. It also made us quick so we beat the crowds to the high tourist spots like the rum cake factory and queens staircase vs walking the island. I will not visit the island again without this option. 100% just do it and make your own journey. Also, when you pick up, they give you a nice list of cool places to visit already loaded into google maps. You just pick the place you want to see. This saved time trying to figure out were else we wanted to go.
Download your adventure BEFORE you leave the states. Internet is sketchy. We paid just $10 bucks more to rent a Garmin, although, it wasn’t correct with one way streets, we would not have been able to navigate the island without it. Six hours is a lot longer than you think. Plan big and explore!!!!! Nassau has so much history. Historic churches, school, graveyards, zoo, statues, historic markers, several forts, a cave. We utilized the entire six hours. On the island, they pump your gas for you. Make sure you look at the pump because the intendant tried to rip us off two separate times getting gas. Let’s see you give them $10. They will put seven in it and hope you don’t look at the gas pump and then try to play stupid. It’s not a mistake because it happened each time we got gas so pay attention to get your money is worth because gas was $5.25 a gallon on the day we went. You got to bring your Polaris back with the same amount of gas you took it with so for instance, we put $10 in it and we literally drove the entire day. Stopping randomly to tour forts and get some snapshots of church etc. but I guarantee you we had easily five hours of constant driving in that buggy, and we didn’t even use 10 bucks of gas. Free shuttle from the port. Great time cruising around. Can am ran great. The girl that checked us in was super helpful. Only thing I recommend is to make sure your Google Maps is ready to work offline.
6 hour rental! New inventory buggies. Worked perfectly all day long on all of the streets and highways. Superb staff assisting you for setting a great day. Set up port pick up and drop off for free!! Reserve direct and skip the shore excursion expense! Best way to see Nassau!

Was different driving on a different side of the road. It was fun. The staff was amazing. The vehicle was nice. They gave us 4 different destinations to go to. A backroad guide would have been helpful. If you are just driving around you might enjoy a rental car.
We picked up our Buggy from the office and visited some spots on the island. The buggy was perfect for our tour along the coast. The ladies in the office are absolutely friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend Bowcar Nassau.
As far as the activity (driving a jeep/buggy around the beach), I completely recommend! As far as using this company, I don’t necessarily have the same opinion. We struggled to find the pick up place (don’t use the address noted in the emails from viator)!!! You’re way better off asking a Nassau ambassador how to find the kiosks. The staff working at the front of the kiosk were busy signing other people up for same day rentals and we had to wait 25+ minutes for a shuttle to take us to the pick up site for our rental. We didn’t get that lost time back on our reservation time (we didn’t ask for it, but we had hoped the company would offer it). Families who had just signed up (same day rental) were directed to the shuttle before us. When we asked for an eta and pointed out our reservation had already started, one staff member rolled her eyes. The general impression we got was that the staff doesn’t like to work through third party companies like viator. They don’t get a commission or tips from our buy via Viator. The customer service provided to us felt substandard in comparison to others around us. Other staff were fine, the shuttle driver was friendly and reset the mood. No issue with the rental itself and it worked ok! Drop off was easy.
Do yourself a favor and book a “buggy” with Bowcar , you will not be sorry ! Get away from all the tourists and see the east side of the island and experience Nassau like a local .
Everything was great! Easy to find, right off the pier; staff was welcoming and friendly. The equipment was almost like new and in great working conditions, they provided us with a most see map and that was very helpful. Definitely recommend using Bowcar for your Nassau UTV rentals
I was not able to find the pickup spot. I asked several locals & was directed all different directions. My wife & I had our four kids with us & they were getting cranky. Our time at this port was cut shorter than originally planned so we headed back to the boat To try to salvage what was left of the day.
Everything turned out great! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Driving all around in Nassau made for a great day. My six year old grandson had a blast. Fun times.
We had an amazing time. Would definitely do this again. Just always remember to stay LEFT! We went downtown and had a ball!!!
What a great way to explore the city, we rented for 6 gours and we got to do everything we wanted to do but on our own time and the staff was amazing!

We used the 6-seater jeep/buggy for a work scavenger hunt. Lots of fun! The jeeps were convenient for maneuvering, but make sure to leave ample space in front of you when braking! The staff were also friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend Bowcar.

Along the way, Desire pointed out many helpful places to see and told us a little bit of the history of the island. The people were so accommodating. We had a great time exploring the island on the buggy! Highly recommend to anybody who’s looking to sightsee on their own.
Use the Viator app to find rental pickup location if getting a shuttle from the cruise port. Had a great rental experience. Used Google maps to drive the scenic Bay street to see Jaws beach, Caves, fish fry, and Queen's staircase.
These guys were great. Everyone was helpful and very friendly. Alicia recommended some of the best local spots to stop at and recommend a spot for the best conch salad. Desire was also great orientating us to the buggy and gave us some great tips. They even gave us a ride back into town after we returned the car. Overall it was awesome and will definitely do it again.
Do not pass this place up. We had so much fun cruising and exploring in our 6 person buggy. The company and staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very thorough and helpful to make you feel comfortable with using the buggy. Had a great Bluetooth speaker. Make sure you get the GPS add on. Loaded with the popular sites and makes navigation super easy. Staff even gave person recommendations. Word to the wise, if you book directly through the company itself you can save money. They also run special deals. High recommend!

The entire Bowcar team were great. From meeting us at the cruise pier to suggesting places to see. They are professional and very friendly. Alicia was the office staff and extremely helpful in guiding us. The shuttle to and from pier was pleasant. We enjoyed going off on our own via the 6 person buggy. With two younger kids, the rental was perfect way to explore Nassau and see local attractions.

Our experience with Bowcar was great! The staff was sooo kind. We were greeted with happy vibes and kindness. The Buggys were great! The staff gave us a walk through with the Buggys (we rented 2) and made sure I was fit for the Buggy I was driving (I'm a little short). We were picked up at the port and they brought us back to Port at the end of our rental. Everything went just as they advertised and better!
Staff was very professional and friendly. Everything was as described in the posting. I will definitely do this again. I highly recommend. It was my first time driving in Nassau and around the island. Local drivers were very kind. You get the hang of driving on the left side of the road after a little while.
It was absolutely amazing experience. Me and my husband did utv first time in our life and surely not the last one. We have got it private my and just went around the island. We had an awesome experience renting a Jeep Buggy for a 6-hr guided tour. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. A self-guided tour is the way to go to see all the highlights on your own timeline!
We had fun and felt safe driving around the island. I didn't realize that we would always be on the regular roads and driving the speed limits posted. Therefore, I highly recommend all passengers have sunglasses to protect their eyes and if you have longer hair, you most definitely need it secured. The $10 additional we paid upon departure for the pre-loaded GPS unit was absolutely worth it as it took us to all the locations on the must see list. The bluetooth speaker was not a huge selling point because you could hardly hear the music as you are driving 45 MPH on the roads.
