Wonderful tour made fun and interesting by a caring couple. They were very considerate of our comfort as we walked around Nassau, stopping to rest as needed and allowing us more minutes at a venue that we wished to explore. Their experience guiding tourists was truly evident. Highly recommend!

Charles & Sonya were delightful guides. Audio earbuds worked great. They were sensitive to the group’s needs for pace, restrooms, hydration, and safety. Charles is knowledgeable and is Bahamian, so he shared his country and city with pride and answered questions off the cuff. All was wonderful!
Sonya and Charles were excellent tour guides. They were most courteous and kind to us. We were allowed to ask questions and learned a great deal about the history of Nassau. Super choice for a great day!
Our guide Charles and Sonia were absolutely wonderful. Felt like we were being guided by true patriotic Bahamians. The walk went by very quickly. The stop timings were just on point and the tour was a lot of fun
We had a great time with Charles and Sonya. Learned a lot of history about the city. The places they took us, Queen's Staircase, the winery, the chocolate factory and the distillery were great. We enjoyed learning about everything and getting to spend a nice time in the city. Would highly recommend.
Our Dilly Dally Bahama walking tour was absolutely wonderful! Charles and Sonya were the best tour guides and made us feel like family from the very beginning. We loved the laid-back pace of the tour. Even though it’s a walking tour, it was at a comfortable pace for all ages, with plenty of opportunities to stop, rest, and take everything in. We visited so many interesting historical and cultural spots, including the chocolate factory, wine tasting, rum distillery, and an art gallery. Each stop added something special to the experience, and Charles and Sonya made everything fun and informative. The tour ended at the Straw Market, which was perfect for doing some souvenir shopping. We truly enjoyed every minute of this experience. If you’re looking for a relaxed, fun, and authentic way to experience the Bahamas, we highly recommend Dilly Dally Bahama and especially Charles and Sonya! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful time. We were a few minutes late due to unexpected traffic and miscalculation of distance on our end and the staff was nice enough to wait for us. We learned so much about the island. You’ll definitely get all of your steps in. I highly recommend.
We enjoyed the tour lots of interesting information to hear and see . You will spend more time outside on the tour and less time inside air conditioned buildings thus plan accordingly. We purchased frozen wine drinks from the winery and it really helped cooling us off in the heat we also enjoyed fried conch bites, tacos and chicken wings purchased outside of the rum distillery. The tour guides were amazing Sonya and Mr C.
We had an amazing experience on this walking tour! A huge thank you to our guide, Charles, and his wife, Sonia, for making it such a memorable experience. Charles was incredibly knowledgeable, and we learned so many interesting and fun facts about the Bahamas that we never would have known otherwise. The tour was the perfect mix of history, culture, and local insights, and it was also a great way to get our steps in while exploring. We never felt rushed, and the entire tour felt safe, relaxed, and engaging. We especially appreciated that Charles and Sonia didn't cancel the tour even though it ended up being just the two of us. That level of dedication meant a lot and made the experience feel like a private VIP tour. If you're visiting the Bahamas and want to learn more about its history and culture while enjoying a great walk around the city, I highly recommend booking with Charles and Sonia. You won't be disappointed!
As this was our first time visiting the Bahamas, my son and I wanted to find an informative and interesting tour to help us get to know the area of Nassau. We found a true gem. Charles and his lovely wife treated us like old friends coming to visit. They were so friendly and engaging throughout the whole tour, and I felt like we learned so much. Charles is an amazing storyteller and really brought the history of this place to life through his personal experiences. They were both incredibly knowledgeable about local history, information about the buildings and businesses we stopped at, and added special touches about local traditions, sayings, and preferences. We were offered bottled water along the way, the pace was perfect, and the walking was very doable. We stopped at the Queen’s Staircase, a winery in the Italian section of the city ( wine sample) , a chocolate factory where we received a treat (the guava duff and keylime were excellent), and an art gallery. We also toured a rum factory where we bought a refreshing frozen drink. We saw the oldest building in the city, the American Embassy, the governor’s mansion, the Greek section, and then ended at the Staw Market shopping area. My son and I were lucky enough to have a private tour, but any small group would have the same lovely experience, I’m sure. I highly recommend this tour if you want to truly get to know the local culture and history of this lovely city with two of the best tour guides I’ve ever experienced. Our tour was three hours long, and we enjoyed every minute of it.
The experience was great! We did it on our first full day and in the tour we saw everything listed and more!! It was a great introduction to the place and the couple guiding us were very kind and worked together to provide my group the best experience. The Meeting location is easy to find and since our group was small it lasted about 2 hours. Totally worth the money. I felt safe and had fun! Best for anyone!!!
Did the Dilly Dally walking tour in July 26. The tour was well paced, Charles was very informative. Headsets were used so you could always hear the commentary. We saw many interesting parts of Nassau.
We loved this tour! It was full of historical and fun facts. Our guides, Charles & Sonia were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re on the island as it’s a great way to learn about The Bahamas, get a few freebies, and meet new people!
This was a great tour. Please be prepared to walk. I did think a snack or light meal was included but it was not.
Charles and his precious wife were AMAZING and so knowledgeable!! Highly recommend this tour but make sure to bring good walking shoes! It was a great tour of Nassau but the guide and his wife made the trip PERFECT! Go se Charles!!
"Step aside and let them decide" is the memorable motto from a true gentleman and AWESOME tour guide Mr. Charles Johnson. He is not only EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything in the Bahamas, but his interaction with the people is so organic, friendly and mesmerizing, one can't help but to love him! If you book any tour guide, PLEASE book with Charles. He captures the true essence of the island with his humor, wit and authentic storytelling to bring about an amazing experience!
The Dilly Dally Walking Tour was both informative and very fun. Our guides Charles and Sonia were helpful and funny, sharing stories and insights about the history of New Providence and the Islands of the Bahamas surrounding it. We stopped at a lot of places but kept a good pace throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Nassau for the first time.
I loved the tour we learned a lot and the tour guide, he was so hilarious and his wife was really nice too.Thank you guys for the tour.
If you want to see Nassau on foot this is the guided tour to do. Wonderful tour guides, they were knowledgeable and personable. They allowed the group to take breaks as the weather was gorgeous but warm. They also offered bottles of water before the tour began. We visited the Rum and Chocolate Factories, along with the Queens Staircase and other historical sites. We would do the tour again.
This was a very informative, interesting and entertaining walking tour of Nassau. Charles was very personable and the best guide and many encouraged him to do a podcast of the history he shared.
The tour guides made you feel very safe and comfortable. They were very patient and knowledgeable. The trail takes you the way the natives, pirates, colonizers and merchants would have taken, whereas you could miss the architecture, nuances and views when you are being driven. Together with the slavery and emancipation museum a more complete appreciation for the history of Nassau is had.
We enjoyed the leisurely walk through Nassau hearing about the history of the island and key landmarks while visiting local shops for tastings and mini-tours.
Sonia & Charles were excellent hosts. This is such an incredible deal for a lengthy and detail rich tour. We enjoyed every minute of it, and Charles' commentary was packed with information, really funny jokes, and just down to earth practical info. We couldn't recommend this anymore highly, and we think it's dramatically underpriced. Great value, and we wish the owners the absolute best and much success.
Loved this historcial tour of Nassau. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. Loved the use of audio headset. We were always able to hear what the tour guide was telling us. This tour was great for adults. I think that children might have been restless with it being 3 hours.
We had a great walking experience. Charles and Sonya did a nice job showing us all the highlights of Nassau, including the Queens Staircase, Prime Minister's home, winery, chocolate factory, and John Watling's Distillery, as well as being knowledgeable on the history of the area. The trip moved at an easy pace, as there were only 3 of us on this particular tour. Would recommend.
Charles and another staff member saw several sites, provided a great Walking tour. Charles knew the history of the island. My Wife and I visited several sites we would not of found on our own. We highly recommend this tour and guide.
We took the 3-hour walking tour and it was great. Charles was a great guide and well informed. The tour was well paced and allowed us to see and learn everything about Nassau.
Charles and his wife are lovely people! We had a small group of 4 people on our tour and learned so much about the islands of The Bahamas, especially Nassau. They were able to answer all our questions. We covered a lot of ground, but it was never too strenuous. Good mix of air conditioned stops to cool down. Would highly recommend!
Our tour guide was awesome! Knowledgeable and explained everything nicely. I liked the headset we used to hear him better
Charles the tour guide and the team did a great job of delivering a fun, informative and well-paced tour of the area. Thank you!
This is one of the best tours we’ve done! Charles was a lovely tour guide and in our 3 hour adventure we were able to see so much of the Bahamas from the Queens Staircase to the John Watling’s Distillery. We were a group of 7 and it was a perfect size for a walking tour. 10/10 recommend
Steven was great! A very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly local guide. He made sure we were well hydrated and looked after. It’s an easy walk with some hills and steps but we took our time as it was hot. Very happy to recommend!
The tour was the highlight of our cruise week. Our guide Charles and his wife were wonderful hosts and guides of Nassau. Charles was so knowledgeable, pointing out historical and interesting places along the tour with stories and history. We had enough time to browse at our stops without feeling rushed. I highly recommend Dilly Dally tours!
We enjoyed our walking tour, it was great getting to see some of the Bahamas outside of the resort. Our guide Stephen was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a sightseeing walk and learning more about Nassau and the Bahamas. The food and drink samples along the way were also very nice!
We had a great walking tour with Charles and his wife. He made sure we were safe crossing streets and pointed out numerous places and told stories along the way. The samples we tried along the route was a nice treat also. A great way to spend a few hours learning the history of the Bahamas.
The tour was fantastic. Charles uses headsets so you can hear all of his interesting tidbits of history and information. Nice pace to the walking tour. Fast enough to keep the interest up but still enough time to soak in the local vibe. Everyone in town seemed to know Charles! Highly recommend.
Our tour guide Charles was extremely knowledgeable and funny too! The commentary and information Charles provided on our walk was easily understood and we could hear him through the earpieces provided. You could tell Charles was very proud to be Bahamian and his extensive knowledge of its history was very apparent. A bottle of water was provided and there were a few chances to stop at a bathroom along the tour.
The tour guide is very well prepared and good to provide the tour. The paste fits our group and the tour was very informative. Well done for the guide. But the place of interests in Nassau is in general not that interesting that this walking tour is a must-do.
We had such a lovely experience with Dilly Dally Tours in Nassau! Our guide, Charles, was absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing the island’s history and culture. He struck the perfect balance between informative and fun, and we felt like we were exploring Nassau with a local friend. The walking pace was comfortable, the stories were fascinating, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for the island. Highly recommend this tour—and if you can, ask for Charles!
We went on the walking tour with Charles on February 3, 2026. We had a great time. It was a group of 8. We walked around Nassau stopping at various places along the way. We had the opportunity to sample chocolate, rum and pina coladas. It was wonderful learning about the history of Nassau. Charles was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, kind and funny. He seemed to know everyone on the island. I would definitely recommend the walking tour.
Great value and you learn an awful lot about the history of the island. Our guide Charles was fabulous and a real Bahamian character. The pina coladas at the rum distillery were fabulous.
Charles was excellent. He was friendly and funny, and we enjoyed the taste tests - wine, chocolate and pina colada. Definitely get a full size pina colada at the run factory!
Very detailed and interesting! Pace was just right and we stopped by places I had wanted to see already.
Stephen was an amazing tour guide. We had a group of 6 and it was the perfect size with just the right amount of time spent at each spot. I enjoyed learning about the different aspects and really enjoyed the opportunity to sample and purchase local items!
Good tour of Nassau on my first trip here. Steven guided our group to many sights, provided the history of each place and answered our questions with kindness and respect. He is very knowledgeable.
I enjoyed the walk. Charles was our guide and he did an excellent job! You cross streets often and he makes sure all are safe. He was excellent to remind us when we need to watch our step. I give Charles a 10 put of 10.
We enjoyed the tour very much. Charles was fun and informative. Lots of history ! Worth every penny. Would do again!
Our guide, Charles, was very knowledgeable about the history of Nassau and the Bahamas. Our pace was leisurely, with stops to rest in the shade. He made accommodations for a short side trip to a cigar factory.
The tour was very informative. Sweet people. Charles was very knowledgeable, easy going but most importantly really funny.
Tour was casual and informative. Given ear pieces so everyone could hear what our guide was saying. Our guide, Charles, was very hospitable. Would highly recommend!
