We have been to Nassau many times so decided to do a food tour. What a great idea. This was an excellent tour. Pierre was a great tour guide. He told us so much history about different parts of the island. The food was all so delicious and food a real islander would eat. We also went to parts of the island we didn’t even know existed. Like a speak easy! Which I can tell you, you would never find on your own. Definitely would recommend.

Lelly did a really good job. The restaurant squashed us onto two tables and I had to ask to spread out although the restaurant was completely empty. (Just a minor complaint)
This was a nice relaxing tour with several different food and drink stops. No pressure to buy anything. Leisurely walking pace. Our tour guide, Lelly, was amazing. So much fun and she had facts about the area that were interesting and didn’t bombard you with a lot of unnecessary and uninteresting stuff. One tiny downside was a bit of a wait to get food at each spot, but that didn’t diminish the overall experience. We loved it!
We had a wonderful time, trying all the food and learning about the history of the Bahamas! It is a good way to get your 10,000 steps in for the day while also eating some great food. Nicolette was wonderful and very joyful!
Great tour around downtown. Good food and drinks. Checked out famous places around the town. Overall was great tour.
Walking tour in the area near the cruise terminals in Nassau. Guide was engaging. Very informal tour. Pretty light on the story of the food and places visited. Tour included small plates: conch fritters, a fish taco, chicken curry, and chocolates. A couple of rum drinks if you choose.
By far the best experience I’ve ever had thank you for the wonderful birthday grifts. FYI carry cash for tips
Princess was a fantastic tour guide. She took us to 5 different places where we got to eat lots of great food and drinks. This 3-hour walking tour was perfect for us. We got a short, guided tour of the city with “local” knowledge without being exhausting.
Lisa was absolutely phenomenal. If she's still working there, I highly recommend her 😄
Lelly was such an amazing guide! She was so personable and full of knowledge. We asked endless questions and she always seemed happy to answer. Special shout out to Mike at the rum speak easy too for sharing his perspective and the rum history of the Bahamas. It ended up being just the two of us on the tour, and I felt like we got such a unique and valuable experience. All of the food was excellent, the drinks were so good, and we saw so many sides of Nassau that we wouldn’t even have known how to find otherwise. We would recommend this tour to everyone!
This was a great experience that I really didn't expect. Nicolette was a great guide that was full of knowledge and pride for her country. We really felt we experienced more of a local experience instead of a tourist experience. Everywhere we went truly felt like a VIP experience. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone that would like to see Nassau in a different prospective. We felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. Thank you Nicolette!
Great experience, we loved it!
As a self proclaimed foodie, I believe I have the expertise to speak on all things food related. This tour was the best foodies tour I’ve ever been on. Mark was an amazing guide! He was fun and well informed. I love learning about the places I visit. All the stops had delicious food and drinks. I have nothing to say. Well worth the money, I was fed and thoroughly entertained.
Such a fun time on Nassau with Nicolette and Captain Ron! It was so great to get a local perspective of Nassau and sampling DELICIOUS food and drinks. Would highly recommend adding this to your itinerary!
Interesting tour with some surprises, glad we did it. Went to some cool spots and had some nice snacks and drinks on the tour. Highly recommend.
I did this tour with my mom and I highly highly recommended. The food was excellent along with the drinks and the chocolate. Deja was our guide, she was very knowledgeable , approachable and sweet. This is definitely a must do tour if you want to know more about Bahamian culture.
This tour was awesome! Our tour guide Pierre was funny and kept the tour interesting. But of course the highlight of the trip was the food and drinks. I enjoyed everything, even the walking lol. Highly recommend! 👌🏾
This tour was really great. The food was tasty. Our tour guide, Pierre, was amazing. He was funny and very informative. I loved all of the history that we learned. The Bahamian Switcha drink was refreshing. The fish taco and the plantain bowl with pikliz were my favorite dishes. I would recommend that you wear comfortable shoes because the sidewalks can be uneven in some places and you do a good amount of walking. Also, I brought my 40oz cup and that was very useful. There was a place to purchase water bottles, as well, but filling your cup before hand would be smart. Overall, everything was great! I highly recommend this tour!
Nicolette was wonderful! She is so full of historical knowledge, interesting fun facts and pride for her country! The food was delicious and the drinks hit the spot. 10/10 recommend. Nicolette made this experience memorable for use!
Great experience!! Food for delicious, Mark our guide was very knowledgeable. It was a awesome tour.
The food tastings were good, Mark was great, and the other people on the trip were wonderful! I had a great experience and this was a great way to start my time in Nassau. I went as a solo traveler and everyone (the other guests and our host) made the experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious and I'm glad I made the choice to do the tour.
Princess was our tour guide and she was incredible! The tour starts with a typical Bahamian meal and all the stops were good.
Amazing tour! The stops all had great food, and we learned a lot of local history on the tour. Would definitely recommend!
Great time with Mark!! Lots of care to make sure we had great time and plenty to eat!! Fun for the whole family!!
Highly recommend. At 5 stops to eat, you will be full. Food was great and I love seafood. Got to see sites on the backroads that are filled with history. Mark, our guide was great. This tour is better than the one offered by carnvial cruise. Keep in mind though your reservation time is Bahama time, not ship time. Our fourteen year old even enjoyed this!
Good tour. Good food included. Good history of the island. Guide could leave her politics about Christopher Columbus out of her remarks. Once about why she doesn't like Columbus is fine, but over and over.... we get it, and left a bad impression on an otherwise nice lady and tour.
Great food and informative tour. Our guide Princess was great.
The food was varied and plentiful. Our guide, Princess, was friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have bottled water available to us, especially at he last stop. So: bring a bottle of water with you.
This was a really fun and enjoyable tour! It does get hot so I highly recommend going earlier in the day.
Great food and history. Lots of local flavors. The chocolate factory and rum distillery were a plus. Princess, our guide was knowledgeable and fun. She's sending me recipes for the conch dishes to try in the States...
A foos and walking tour is something my wife and I like to do to start our adventure into a new place and this one did not disappoint. Nicollete was fantastic as she is an ex teacher and local. The food and drink options we top notch and the history of Nassau was spot on. We have traveled much and done these tours and this ranks in the best. Highly recommend it, ask for Nicollete.
Nicolette was wonderful. Informative and entertaining! The food was also good, but she was the highlight. First stop had an almost complete meal and it got better from there with smaller delicious bites.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars Our food and cocktail tour with Collette in Nassau was one of the highlights of our cruise! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Bahamian history, culture, and local cuisine. We learned so much about the island while enjoying delicious food and cocktails at several local spots we never would have found on our own. Collette made everyone feel welcome, kept the tour engaging, and answered all of our questions. Her love for the Bahamas truly shines through, and it made the experience feel authentic and personal. If you’re visiting Nassau and want to experience more than the typical tourist attractions, this tour is a must-do. We left with full stomachs, a greater appreciation for the island, and wonderful memories. Highly recommend! 🇧🇸🍹🍴✨
We stopped at very touristy spots rather than more unique ones. I felt like we were in three tshirt/ souvenir shops… water should have provided at the beginning of the tour bc it was so hot. Also we did not get to try all menu items on the tour. Although mark was very nice and did the best he could.
My family and I had a great time with Princess. She was very knowledgeable about the food as well as the history of the islands. The food, as well as the service at the stops, were top notch. It was a very hot day but Princess had an appropriate pace and allowed us time to cool off at the stops. She also was aware of the traffic and kept us all safe at all times. I would definitely recommend this tour.
This was our first food tour and our first visit to Nassau, and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Mark, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Nassau, while also being personable, charismatic, engaging, and entertaining. The three-hour tour flew by, and although we were on our feet the entire time, the walk never felt long or tiring. We visited several local spots and enjoyed a great variety of delicious Bahamian food along the way. It was a wonderful introduction to the local cuisine and gave us the opportunity to experience places we likely wouldn't have discovered on our own. One tip: there is a stop where you can get water, but if you tend to get thirsty easily, especially in the warm Bahamian weather, it's worth bringing your own water bottle. We would absolutely recommend this tour, especially with Mark as your guide. It's a great way to learn about Nassau's history and culture, enjoy excellent local food, and make the most of a port day from a cruise ship. A memorable experience from start to finish!
Lelly was a great guide. Lots of fun. We samples authentic Bahamian cuisine as well as cocktails. The portions were good sized and the food delicious. She was very informative about local foods and customs
Very good tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Island, its history and the people.
Lelly was awesome! We so enjoyed talking to her while we walked around the city, ate great foods, and tried various cocktails.
Mark was a fun and interesting guide. I have been to Bahamas many times but all the spots he took us, I had never been. Food was delicious. We especially loved the fish tacos and Conch Fritters. If you want to see some off the beaten path sites while you are in Nassau and try some delicious bahamian food, this is the perfect tour. We loved every minute!
A very good mix of local history, food and drink. Well thought out over just under 3hrs. Good for family or just w friends.
Our tour was amazing! Our guide, Lelly, was amazing and shared so many fun facts and history about the area. We were the only ones on the tour (my mom and I), so it felt very personal, and we were able to get a good insight into the true culture. The food was delicious, and I would definitely book again!
We had so much fun! The meeting spot was exactly where they said it would be, with the name of the tour on a sign. Our guide, Pierre, met us there when we arrived. Pierre was very friendly and personable, we immediately felt comfortable, like hanging out with a friend. ALL the food we tasted was amazing, and there is a decent amount so come hungry! One full sized drink and a couple of samples to taste. All the stops were very organized and Pierre took care of everything, we just had to eat😋. As far as sight seeing, Pierre pointed out important/interesting buildings as we walked and gave lots of interesting facts, but this is more about the food than the sights. There's a good amount of walking, wear comfortable shoes and bring water. A couple of bathrooms along the way too, if thats important. This is a great way to spend 2-3 hours downtown!
I could not speak more highly of this tour. The experience included several food and drink tastings, as well as stops at a chocolate factory, local hotel, rum distillery, and more. Our guide, Leli (I hope I spelled that right), was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on Bahamian/Nassau history and culture. This was a stop on our cruise, and was by far our favorite part of our week-long trip. I absolutely recommend this tour!
Many stops, some very busy and touristy. Others better. First place took an hour and was a heavy meal then a lot of walking. One place was “closed” ? For renovations so didn’t see inside Greycliffe, looked very nice though. Could have left chocolate stop off, shoulder to shoulder inside as well as the street. Distillery was good, liked to have spent more time for a real drink there, sample was yummy as well as the taco. Last stop least fav, not appetizing and bathroom was yuck, but was facilities at every stop. Did this same tour few years ago and was bit better , but this was entertaining with history and guide sweet.
Princess guided us on this tour and we were very impressed! Each stop provided a delicious sample of local favorites and Princess answered all of our questions about the island's history. By the end of the tour we were pleasantly filled but not overfilled and we ended early enough to continue exploring downtown on our own. Princess gave us some great ideas about what we should see and do with our remaining days on the island. We highly recommend this tour and plan to book again when we return with our kids. Be aware that some of the walking included inclines, stairs, and narrow sidewalks/no sidewalks depending on the terrain. It was fine for my husband and I but those with mobility concerns may reconsider. However, each food stop would make a delicious destination for those who want to partake but have physical limitations.
Princess was amazing. Relaxed tour with amazing food and local establishments.
Hands down this was the best Food tour we’ve had in a while. The guide was friendly and professional. We had so much wonderful food and got to learn so much about the history and culture. Highly recommend this tour, they did an amazing job. We traveled with a child and my mom and both really had a great time. The walking wasn’t too bad because they (kid and grandma) didn’t whine about it - lol. Definitely take this tour, it was awesome.
Déja gave a fantastic tour. Lots of interesting history facts and delicious food to try. She had a great, casual vibe and made sure all had fun!
Myself and 3 coworkers took the Bites of Nassau tour with Mark and we absolutely loved it. He showed us not only the local bites and drinks but provided a variety of fun facts and history along our route. Additionally we stopped at a few extra locations since we had time and it was just our small group. Mark was kind, patient, knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Every member of our group was incredibly appreciative of his time and the opportunity to take the tour. All of the bites were delicious and the two of us who sprung for the extra drinks were not disappointed. Very glad we signed up with them! As a side note, we visited Nassau from the Celebrity Ascent and booked directly with the company, not through the ship and had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the tour. We had the 11:30am time slot and the overall tour was about 3 hours. Still plenty of time to return to the ship.
