Courtyard By Marriott Nassau Downtown/junkanoo Beach

This hotel is in a perfect location. It sits directly across from the beach where you have access to chairs vendors serving drinks and hot food. It is approximately a 5-7 minute walk to downtown. It is also a 7 minute walk in the opposite direction to the famous Fish Fry. There you can get amazing Bahamian food of all sorts, fried, grilled; variety ranges from fish, shrimp jerk, conch. The bars are abundant and the atmosphere is very welcoming and high energy. The hotel itself is extremely well kept. It has two pools a gym, mini areas to sit and talk and relax. The rooms are spacious with balconies that look over the pool or the street or various areas of surrounding the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the island; they give you tips on where to find the best food or what to do on the island.

It's an older property but it's very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is amazing and so nice. Shout out to Clyde he went above and beyond. The location is amazing, it's on the beach and close to local cuisine, shopping, nightlife and other activities. I will definitely stay here again on a future visit.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, especially if you love the beach. It's also surrounded by plenty of restaurants, museums, and other attractions, making it a great choice for tourists. The service is impeccable from the front desk to the rest of the staff, who are friendly and welcoming throughout your stay. The interior has a relaxing island vibe, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only complaint is the carpeted flooring. It had a slightly musty smell, which made the room feel a bit dated and shabby. Replacing the carpets with tile flooring would really elevate the overall look and feel of the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights and enjoy Junkanoo beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the gym exceeded our expectations for a hotel gym! Great location, steps from the beachfront and only about a 10 minute walk from Arawak Cay.
