Our guide was knowledgeable and very personable. Good English. Nice to talk to her about everyday life here in Napoli and see a new neighborhood. We actually went to the San Genero catacombs because the cemetery was closed. Good substitute.

Naples is too complex a city, to approach as a traveler you need to be accompanied by someone who knows, organize information and present it. Our guide Rosa (Del Core) conducted our visit with the utmost competence on historical, artistic and anthropological themes. For example: the starting point is Porta San Gennaro not only because you walk from there on, but because from there the living history of the Sanità district begins, a story that speaks up to us who have recently experienced epidemics, quarantines and “health licenses”. And then from there we walked in places, times, very dense and interesting circumstances, with the past speaking to the present, and the magic of Naples that surrounds us. We tasted sweet and savory, out of the ordinary, and two and a half hours passed without effort, not without commitment, because Rosa really showed us a lot, everything explained, everything framed in its context.
