Private Transfer From Naples To Positano

The transfer was smooth, and communication was prompt. We had the best time at Pompeii and the stops along the way were great too!

Fantastic transfer experience. Friendly driver who stopped multiple times to accommodate photos. We added the private guide of Pompeii, as it’s on the way to Positano, which was not only convenient but a wonderful experience.

Dodi was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. He arranged for our driver, Antonio to pick us up at our hotel in Positano, drop us off for a scheduled tour at Herculaneum (where he held our luggage while waiting for us) and then drop us off at our hotel in Naples. Antonio was so nice and informative. He taught us so much about the area along the way and even gave us recommendations for dinner and gelato in Naples! If we ever return to the Amalfi visit we will definitely use their services again.

We needed a last-minute transfer from Naples train station to Positano and reached out to Dudy while we were still on the train. With less than three hours' notice, he confirmed our transfer and was exceptionally communicative throughout. He told us exactly where to meet him, kept us updated on his location and the traffic, and made the whole process completely seamless. When we met him, he was professional, well dressed, upbeat, and incredibly friendly. He immediately helped us with all our luggage (and we had a lot of it!) and escorted us directly to his clean, comfortable Mercedes van, which was conveniently parked nearby. We expected nothing more than a ride to Positano. Instead, Dudy turned the journey into a wonderful tour. He is an excellent conversationalist and extremely knowledgeable about the region and its history, sharing fascinating insights throughout the drive. He even offered to pull over at scenic spots so we could take photographs. Despite this being his last fare of the day - and facing hours of terrible traffic to get home - he remained cheerful and completely focused on making our journey enjoyable. We were so impressed that we specifically booked Dudy again for our transfer from the ferry terminal to Naples airport at the end of our trip. He was ready and waiting when we disembarked, helped us with our luggage, and had us on our way within minutes. Once again, he shared interesting bits of local knowledge along the way, turning our final transfer into one more little tour. Dudy is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. He made both transfers feel like part of our trip rather than simply transportation from A to B. We were so happy with his service that we booked him twice - and I will absolutely be booking him again when I return to the area.

Dodi was awesome! We used this service to pick us up for the two-way trip between Naples and Positano. He was very timely, even when our Positano pick up was at 5:30 AM. He is very pleasant and funny, gave us fun facts along the drive, and gave us options to stop at scenic points for photos. The vehicle was very comfortable, the conversation was good, and before we knew it, we were at our destination! I would highly recommend.

Excellent experience. We had already been traveling in Italy for over a week on trains, buses, etc., so for our final stop in Positano, we really wanted to take it easy and relax. This was definitely the right choice. It was a stress free way to travel to Positano in a clean, modern, spacious vehicle. Dodi was a wonderful guide. Very friendly and provided us with lots of interesting information about our surroundings on the way. We were able to stop twice to take some pictures and taste Limoncello at a distillery where it is manufactured. I would definitely recommend if you want an easy, relaxing trip to Positano.

This guy went out of his way to get us scheduled in to get another ride to Naples Airport and back to try and retrieve our late luggage. Than after only 1 of 2 bags showed up, he offered to be our delegate and pick up our second the next day and bring it to our hotel! What a lad. He waived waiting fees, still charged for the rides which is perfectly good because this is his living. Anyway, this guy is the best transfer you will find between these 2 places. If we ever return we know who we are calling!

Dodi was absolutely amazing! Not only did he transport us safely to Positano, but he should us the lemonchello factory and let us stop at a lookout spot. I would absolutely recommend.

We rode with Marco who was an absolutely pleasure! We did the 2 hour stop at Pompeii and he made sure to coordinate with our private tour guide to show us around. Right as our tour ended he was immediately available to pick us back up and take us the rest of the way to Positano. Dodi, set Marco up as our driver and Dodi offers the same travel services throughout the Amalfi Coast. Dodi’s English was also very good, so it was easy to coordinate adjustments when our train from Rome was arriving later than expected. It was very fluid and it took a lot of pressure off trying to get around. I would highly recommend Dodi’s travel agency if you’re looking for a way to get around safe!

Our guide was great! He communicated. Met us even though our train was early. Took us to a lemoncello factory which was a bonus. He even had motion sickness drops that one of our passengers needed. Fun photos and light conversation.

We booked this last minute when the ferries were cancelled & next time we come to Positano, we will just book this instead! Gio was the best! He carried our luggage through the train station & pointed out landmarks throughout our drive to Positano, which we loved! We stopped along the Sorrento coast to get out & take a picture. When we arrived in Positano, he called our hotel to arrange for the porter to meet us when we arrived to grab our bags. Gio was amazing & I would definitely recommend booking the private transfer to Positano!!

He kept us updated with times and locations via WhatsApp. On the drive to Amalfi he gave us a little tour and shared all about the area, which was great! He was also very kind with my daughters. Dodi was funny and knowledgeable. He gave us little stories with history and lore the whole ride. He was great with the communication, timing and pick up- which could have been tricky due to travel unknowns. The car was clean and spacious. We stopped at the limoncello factory for a quick tour, he was accommodating for drop off and pick up at Pompeii, had water for us, and stopped for a picture at a beautiful Positano viewpoint. A great and easy transfer that allowed us to fit in Pompeii for two tired jet lagged people!

Great communication with Dodi. We were greeted at the airport and taken to a spacious car with air conditioning. We did a 2 hour tour of Pompeii with an English speaking guide (that Dodi had arranged for us) - this was an amazing experience. Great experience. Dudu was very communicative. Luciano met us at the train platform to pick us up with our name on a sign. The Mercedes van was brand new and was so clean. Our experience with our Transfer was exceptional! Our driver was Rafael and he was extremely knowledgeable, on time time and very professional. Dudy (owner) is extremely communicative and did everything we asked and managed to do it all even if we were on different continents. I asked for a stop after our airport pick up at a winery for wine tasting, and lunch. (which was also exceptional by the way.) Rafael waited on us and drove us to Positano. He was funny and gave us some great tips and history along the way. Oh and made a pit stop for some delicious cheese. Went for the first time to the south of Italy and Dodi is such a great driver! He was timely and SO knowledgeable, I don’t think there was a quiet moment all the way from Naples to the amalfi coast. Dodi isn’t just a driver, he’s the personal tour guide that you didn’t know you needed! Our family was blown away by our experience with Dodi. When looking for the best way to get our family of 6 adults from the Napoli Centrale Train Station to our AirBnB in Positano, I struggled quite a bit. The thought of having to take several connecting transports between regional trains, buses and ferry’s just made my head spin. I needed something smoother and simpler. A private car service was our answer, I just didn’t know how much we needed Dodi’s service over others! First, he called to let me know that he was following our train online so he knew that it was running late, but wanted to assure me that he was waiting for us. That impressed me right away! Then in the rush to get our luggage off of the train, I forgot my medication cooler at my seat. Dodi patiently waited once again while my daughter ran back to the train to try to get it back. After a stressful train experience, it was a relief to get into his clean & comfortable Mercedes Benz van. Then to our surprise he tells us that he is not just a driver, but the owner of this company and his passion is being a tour guide. Not only did he show us points of interest, but he told us the history and legends while also pointing out photo opportunities. Next thing I know he’s taking us to a Limoncello factory and tasting!! Spectacular!!!!! My only disappointment is that I don’t have more room in my suitcase to buy for more. As if that wasn’t already above and beyond anything we have ever experienced, then he takes us to a look out point over Positano and takes our family photos. Dodi was fun, knowledgeable, and helpful, This was by far the best experience anyone could possibly get when traveling to Positano.

The views were amazing. The drive was very smooth a little windy though but overall such a great experience. Dodi made sure we were able to see everything in the short drive we were in.

We booked this transfer to take us from the Napoli Centrale (train station in Naples) to our AirBNB in Positano, and we had a fantastic experience! Dodi, our driver met us inside the train station, just outside the platform of our arriving train. He happily helped us with our luggage, had a bottle of water waiting for each of us, had a spotless beautiful van, and safely transported us to Positano. He discussed history of the area during our drive. We made a couple of scenic photos stops as well, which were a great introduction to the area! He made the trip so much easier and stress free, compared to trying to figure out multiple steps to travel from Naples to Positano. We would highly recommend Dodi!!

We booked a driving service with Ahdy and it was wonderful! He was so kind and made it such an enjoyable experience for us! Dodi is the best! Super easy going guy who was super flexible, easy to communicate with both on the phone and through WhatsApp when planning. I made an error in timing with our train and STN was super flexible in accommodating us. It was an easy decision to book our return with Smooth Travel Napoli and we even got to include a stop in Pompeii before catching the train from Napoli to Rome. Dodi is an expert and has friends all over; it’s clear why this company is so popular, and not just because the service is reliable. Can’t imagine using any other company.

However, if you have a larger crew (we had 6 adults), I recommend asking for a van for everyone to sit comfortably. Once we mentioned that we needed a bigger car for the ride back to Naples, Dodhi arranged for a mercedes van to pick us up. It was a seamless change and the ride was very comfortable and cool!!
