The National Archaeological Museum of Naples, thanks to its heritage, is one of the oldest and richest museum in the world. The museum consists of three sections: the Farnese section, consisting of the artifacts collected by the family of the same name, the Pompeian collection with artifacts from the archaeological site and the Egyptian Collection, occupying third place in the world as regards the importance of finds.
There is so much to see! We benefited from a guide. He was so knowledgable and with his help we were able to see and hear about the most important offerings in the museum! We will return!
Eliana is a star! This museum is massive and thanks to Eliana we were able to get a curated experience of what we were most interested in seeing. After touring Pompeii with her, we were thrilled to have her as our guide at MANN as well. Wow - Eliana was amazing! After the tour our boys (23 and 17) said she was one of the smartest people they had evert met. We met at the museum at 4:00 p.m. for a 2-hour tour. We had been at Herculaneum earlier in the day, which gave us a solid starting place and Eliana just took it from there. It was incredible to see the artifacts from Herculaneum as well as ones from Pompeii (which we did not visit.) Eliana made it all come alive. Highly recommend.

I had a spare day and decided to join the museum tour with Eliana. I was surprised by how much I had studied in university was in that place. Farnese collection and the whole area with the pompeii artefacts. Truly astonishing. I was impressed and she helped with the knowledge and clarity. Highly recommended.
