Private Day Tour Of Positano, Amalfi And Ravello From Naples

We had the perfect day visiting the Amalfi Coast which was made better by our amazing driver Franco. Already waiting when we exited the hotel, he greeted us the a smile and a firm handshake. After he maneuvered his way through the hectic Napoli traffic we were off. Our first stop was the Limoncello DiCapri factory where we not only tasted limoncello, chocolate, and olive oil but we also got a taste of Franco’s photography skills. (At every stop he snapped a few pics that he sent after the tour was over.) Next we visited the lovely little town of Positano. Franco parked, shared the location on WhatsApp, and sent us on our way. At every stop we had about an hour to an hour and 20 minutes and it was the perfect amount of time for us. We were able to wander through the streets, get some pictures, and pick up a few trinkets (every stop had basically the same souvenirs). In Amalfi we grabbed lunch and a lemon sorbet. In Ravello we explored the shops and fed the local cats treats we take on all our adventures. The best part of this tour is being able to relax and take in the beautiful scenery while Franco dealt with the treacherous winding roads. They are not for the faint of heart. All in all, I highly recommend this day tour to anyone who wants a taste of the Amalfi Coast, and honestly I think that’s enough.

Our driver, Angelo Rea, provided an awesome tour experience for our family (myself, my wife, & 10 month old son). Angelo helped navigate our day to ensure we were able to see as much as we were able to while always ensuring that we were comfortable and taken care of along the way. Pickup & drop off directly from the Naples Cruise Port was seamless and made the logistics of the day very easy. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see a lot in a short amount of time which was the case for us having only the day as a cruise port stop. I would strongly encourage taking Dramamine or similar motion sickness medication as the winding narrow roads through the mountains can be intense at times; however, the journey is well worth the destination(s)!

Pick up was just like the paperwork said. Cesar meet us just out the cruise terminal early in the morning and work is off on a full day tour. He was energetic and knowledgeable giving us facts about the area and information as we traveled through various townships along the way. Great tour and wonderful guide, highly recommended!!

Enzo was a great driver and guide. He contacted us prior and offered an earlier pickup to ensure we beat the traffic out of the port. This got our day off to a great start. Enzo was friendly and informative the entire day. He kept us organized at each stop to ensure we got the most of each stop and never made us feel rushed. A great way to see the Amalfi Coast. Let Enzo do the driving.

This was an amazing tour, we had such a fabulous day. Brian picked us up right on time, he was personable and knowledgeable. The 3 cities were incredible to see and Brian was great with timing and flexibility. I would highly recommend this tour and Brian!

We had a wonderful day with Franco that included breathtaking scenery and a beautiful and delicious lunch. Was a fabulous driver, and that was necessary as the streets were extremely windy and steep along the coast. Is English was excellent. He took lots of pictures of our group. It was a perfect day!

The operator was very responsive on WhatsApp and replied to our messages promptly. Our tour guide, Ghazi, was wonderful! She contacted me the night before the tour and stayed in close communication with me throughout the day, making sure everything ran smoothly. She was efficient, well-organized, spoke clearly, and had a very pleasant personality. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and really appreciated her professionalism and attentiveness. Great experience overall on day trip along Amalfi Coast, including Positano. Brian was our guide and did an excellent job - very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He found great places to drop us off to minimize walking, and made sure we had ample time to see all the great spots.

Our family spent an incredibly memorable day together visiting the Amalfi towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Each of these cities were unique in their own way, and together were greater than the sum of their parts. Our guide David and his minivan "Rosita" were very patient, charming, and accomodating throughout the day of touring, and I can't recommend his services highly enough. We booked this tour for flexibility and our driver/guide Franco could not have been more accommodating! We visited Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello and he recommended the proper Length of time to visit each. Along the way he recommended a FABULOUS restaurant high above the sea and avoiding the Amalfi crowds. Franco has a wonderful voice and regaled us with a couple of opera songs during our drive. By the end of the day we felt like we had a new Italian friend! Loved the entire day!

We did the tour from Salerno as a shore excursion from our cruise. We chose to skip Amalfi so as to spend more time in Positano and Ravello. We really enjoyed doing it this way. It gave us time to really check out the little towns and to sit down and have lunch in Ravello. Cesare was a great driver. Very kind and informative and always right on time. The van was immaculately clean and comfortable, even at full capacity with 9 of us (including Cesare). Great way to spend a day, and we we never worried about getting back to the ship on time!

Salvatore was the best tour guide ever. Please request him if you do this tour. Very knowledgeable, knows a lot of locals and will walk around with you and show you the best places. He made our tour a 10/10 experience.

Our guide Francesco. He spoke understandable English. He picked us up right at the cruise port. The car was clean and well kept. There was also another family with us in the same car. He was very patient and explained to us the about the cities, the mountains and also about Naples rich history. He was a knowledgeable guide and drove through the mountains safely. He shared with us the secret recipe of making limoncillo. At the end of the tour he even surprised us with a gift which was never expected of a guide.He had his personal touch and felt like that he truly cared about the people. All in all 5 stars.

We had Salvatore and he was incredible! He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great and enjoyable experience! He is very laid back and had to deal with 4 American women and their husbands. We asked him for a very nice luncheon spot popular with locals with scenic views and he completely delivered!! Have him take you to the Da Pietro! The limoncello spritz and the pizza was the best one I’ve had all week! Everyone in our group raved about how wonderful the food was! I would suggest asking for him and seeing if he’s available for your tour. It won’t hurt to ask!

Amazing time and great value for money. My girlfriend and I did a private day tour of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello with Vincenzo Giannini. He was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the area and was always ready with interesting facts. We asked for a limoncello recommendation, and Enzo made a quick stop at a factory for us to see and try before crowds set in. Happy to take a picture and do anything else you need to make the day enjoyable. Enzo was great driving around those tiny streets, which you can only appreciate once there. Just enough time at each location to experience the unique beauty. Five stars - would recommend to anyone!

Mario was the absolute best tour guide out of all seven tours. Five stars is not enough, 10 out of 10. Knowledgeable in history, local restaurants and shopping. Filled our day with humor and you can tell that he loves this area and his country. We could not have found a better representative and guide. Thank you so very much.

This was a great overall experience. The driver, Felice, grew up in the area so he was an amazing guide for our family. He gave us great suggestions throughout the day. We had just the right time at each stop to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Listened to the priorities of our family and modified the itinerary accordingly.

We were picked up on time at the port by our friendly driver Salvatore. He was courteous and listened to what we wanted to do. He took us in a drive through the amalfi coast and stopped for us to take pictures when we wanted. We thought he was EXTREMELY considerate and friendly (he even bought my daughter a coffee on HIS birthday - we should have bought it for him!). We loved traveling with him and look forward to reaching out when we are back next time.

This was a great day out, and Bryan was an entertaining and knowledgable guide. We tripped ourselves a little by leaving later than we should have, so we had to cut short some of the stops to get back in time for our ship departure. My advice if you are on a deadline is to head out as early as you can, to let you maximise time at each stop. Definitely a worthwhile trip to book.

My driver Franco was fabulous. He cares and it shows in everything we did ... the driving, the narrative, ... even the singing (Bocelli has a super fan). My fifth or sixth visit to Amalfi proved one thing for sure .. you want Franco as your driver.

Lovely 8 hours day trip to Amalfi coast stopping at Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The scenery was spectacular. Cesare, our driver was good with his commentary and the drive along the narrow, windy road was comfortable in the 8 seaters van.
