Tour was amazing. We did Almalfi, Positano, and Pompeii Ruins. Marco was a great tour guide the entire day showing us a few extra surprises along the way. Josef was great with communication and easy pick up and drop off at the cruise port. Pompeii tour guide is a must as there is so much to learn and Rosa was very informative.

We did a custom private tour. Our driver Marco picked us up in Amalfi with all our luggage and took us an all day tour. Along the way we stopped at a few photo spots and he gave us some fun and interesting commentary. He and Joseph arranged for our Pompeii and Herculaneum tours with a guide. They also arranged a winery lunch and tasting near Mt Vesuvius. And eventually dropped us at our hotel in Naples. It was probably our best day during the week. Everything went smoothly and it was so fun.

We traveled with my dad who uses an electric wheelchair so we used a guide for Pompei. Our guide had so much knowledge about the history. We learned so much and had a great day!
Marco was a fantastic guide, he not only gave us lessons in history about Napoli and the Campania area but he gave us a lot of great laughs along the way. We went to Benevento to see where my partners family came from and got to see the Roman theatre. We then travelled to Napoli and Marco recommended a delicious meal of Genovese pasta which was the best pasta I’d had in Italy so far. A lot of fun and a great tour overall, to end our final day in Italy. I can’t recommend this enough! 10/10
The car was clean, driver Ciro was nice. I was just disappointed, that we did not make any stops along the way to take pictures, just once right before Positano. We did have time, because we arrived back 45 minutes early. Also, I was told by Josef they would make reservations for lunch at the restaurant I was interested in. They failed to do that, and the day before the restaurant had no availability. It was a very winding drive so we do appreciate them driving us.
Guisseppi was a wonderful tour guide as well as very respectful and kind. He gave us a few ideas and took us to the amzaing Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and other sights to see and enjoy. We tried the famous lemon ice cream and other goodies. We enjoyed our whole trip with him as well.

Our driver was on time and very flexible to see the Amalfi Coast. We asked for an English speaking driver and although he did speak English it was very hard to understand what he was saying. I know he was giving us good information about what we were seeing but we didn't understand him. He stopped to give us a tour of a ceramics studio and shop. We said no to that to save time to see more sights.

We had a 6 hour tour from the cruise port. We went to Amalfi for shopping and lunch. Lunch we picked ourselves at Da Maria in Amalfi and it was perfect for our family of 4. Along the way to Amalifi we saw amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius and the coastal views were simply stunning. Marco shared lots of interesting facts about the area. We stopped at Pompeii for an hour on the way back. Marco warned us we would want 2 hours there and he was right. We will come back and spend more time next time. We had a great day and the driving here is insanity. Marco was very good at navigating the roads and we were glad to have his expertise!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was our favorite stop of the trip (Barcelona, Florence, Marseille , Rome) - due much in part to the incredible experience Josef provided. He was SUPER communicative leading up to the visit - which was SO helpful in us being able to trust and enjoy the day. I had read another review and asked for the same thing, bc it sounded amazing: amalfi coast - Limoncello - Pompeii. They were not wrong. Josef was not only incredibly informative during the drive to each location, but upon arrival, he provided recommendations that were perfect additions, from shopping to dining and more. You can tell he’s a homegrown local by his wealth of knowledge and ability to drive in conditions I would not trust many to :). He was on time, helped manage the days itinerary, and helped assuage any fears we had of missing the cruise boat with his attention to traffic management and time spent in each location. He kept us (x2 adults and x 2 teens 12 and 14 year old) engaged and taught us all about the history of the beautiful city. Transportation was good. Our driver met us at the correct place and time, and took us to the places we wanted to visit. Maybe out expectations were off. We had a driver, noting else, she did not talk or tell us about anything the city or places alone the route. no offer of WIFI or water during the trip.

Our tour was wonderful! We needed two cars to accommodate our large group and the cars arrived on time and were nicely appointed and air conditioned! We were able to see all the sites we wanted to (sorrento and Pompeii). Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with The restaurant recommended for lunch. Our food took over an hour to be served (we believe they forgot to submit our order). We would not have agreed to this restaurant had we know this. But we understand this was not the fault of the tour guide. Although they should not recommend this restaurant in the future. The tour itself was wonderful. I would book with them again.

We had an amazing time from beginning to end. Josef sent us all the links ahead of time to book our tours at our times and Marco picked us up. He was early waiting for us either a sign. He had cold water, nice Mercedes sprinter and cool Air waiting for us at all times. We did the Herculaneum ruins with archaeologist tour guide and Mount Vesuvius. Then Marco took us to the city center where we had some lunch, walked around had some gelato and gave us a little bit of history lessons throughout our trip. 100% recommended! We stopped randomly so we could get the best photo for our memories. He also surprised us with a tour of the limoncello factory and gave us a tour where we got to sample some limoncello and of course we purchased some. We then travelled to Pompeii where they arranged a private tour for 2 hours learning the fascinating history. Our guide was informative personally and really took the time to make sure we new the amazing history of Pompeii. If you are ever in this area on a cruise by far worth every penny to book with Josef and if you are lucky to get Giuseppe as your driver you will not be disappointed. We had a private tour of Naples and the Amalfi coast booked for September 13, 2024 with another tour operator through Viator. We booked this tour over a month ago, but the tour operator canceled the tour without any explanation two days before the date. This put us a bad predicament, because the private tour was also supposed to take us to our Viator booked 2-hour authentic Neapolitan pizza making class. I called Viator, obviously unhappy that this tour operator, canceled the tour on what is turning out to be a very busy tour operating date. The rep with Viacom tried to book us a replacement private tour with the understanding that it needed to be flexible/customizable like the initial tour. This is when Viacom booked us with Josef of Amalfi Driver. I received a message from Josef on September 11, 2024 inquiring about our itinerary. I emphatically stated that the most important item was that we had the authentic Neapolitan pizza making class from 11am - 1pm and that we would like to work Positano, Amalfi, and Furore in the tour to take photos. I also informed him that my wife was disabled and would be bringing a foldable wheelchair or foldable walker. I NEVER said that my wife would be walking around at any of these places. After I thought that I made it quite clear, Josef was still message late into the night of September 11, 2024 into well after midnight of September 12, 2024. His last message made it apparent that he did not thoroughly read or comprehend my earlier message. He mentioned about spending an hour for lunch in Naples at an authentic pizzeria or we could go to the one that I mention in the touristy section of Naples. He missed the point t hat it was a pizza making CLASS. He then tried to talk us out of going to Positano and Furore, because these are "vertical cities" and not accessible by wheelchair. Again, I never said that my wife would be accessing these cities when I take photos. I stopped responding to Josef after midnight, because my wife and I had an early full-day tour of Rome the morning of September 12, 2024 (we are on a cruise ship). After the tour, I checked the emails on my phone and was advised at 2:52pm on September 12, 2024 that Josef canceled the tour because I didn't respond to his message sent after midnight. Again, he was not paying attention to what I wrote in my initial message to him and there was no urgency. The tour was already paid and I was within the 24-hour no refund booking time. He could have waited until I returned from our Rome private tour to receive a response. The booking was already confirmed. Now we will be in port on September 13, 2024 with no available private tours in Naples and within the 24-hour no refund period for the pizza making class. Josef also replied that since I didn't respond, he had other last-minute request for tours for which he was trying to take care. Again, the tour was already paid and I could not cancel. Where does he lose?? When I advised Josef that this was unacceptable and that I was going to write a review reflecting such, he was only concerned by his misperceived notion that I was trying to "...hurt his business." This is not the way to do business. I have already filed a complaint with Viator.
