The driver was wonderful and we had a wonderful, comfortable drive south. Once in Pompeii our tour was beyond amazing and we loved every minute of it! Vincenzo our driver was excellent and picked us up at the port as arranged. We met our tour guide outside Pompeii and he made sure we saw all of the main sites and managed to avoid most of the crowds which on a really hot day was very much appreciated. The time spent in Pompeii was just about right and the guide made sure that the interest of the 2 children were always taken into consideration. My expectations were certainly exceeded and the visit proved a highlight of our Italian trip. Thanks!

We all had a fantastic day with our private tour. Our driver was punctual with picking us up at the cruise port. He drove us to Pompeii, where we met our private tour guide, Paolo Di Leva. He was excellent, so knowledgeable and friendly. His passion for sharing his knowledge of the area was fantastic. I would highly recommend Paolo. After Pompeii, we went for lunch at Ristorante”Vesum”, which was excellent. After lunch we went to Mt.Vesuvius to climb to the top from the parking lot. Luigi informed us what time we would need to leave to get back to the cruise ship on time. He was an excellent driver and would highly recommend him. One last very important comment. A week and a half prior to our cruise, the cruise line switched the Port of Naples to the Port of Salerno. I contacted Patricio and she made it happen to switch our pick up point.

The tour was great. The poor interaction between Viator and Trip Advisor added unnecessary frustration. Viator had the correct hotel pick up but Trip Advisor kept sending email reminders saying we were being met at the marina.

Our tour and activity through your company was amazing from start to finish I thought I may have to cancel due to long lineups through immigration after getting off the ship however, Luigi, our driver was in constant contact with us from the day before till he picked us up, he was awesome. Our trip to and from Pompeii with Tony, our driver, was wonderful. He is very personable, and he really helped us understand some things about Napoli and Italian that will make our stay much easier. His enthusiasm about the city is catching! Paolo, our private guide, brought us in through a different gate than we'd entered before. He, too, was charming and full of knowledge. He was able to answer every question. He added tidbits about words in English that come from Roman processes that we had never noticed! His explanation of the life in Pompeii brought that city to life. We could not have had two better guides! I highly recommend this tour where we were able to interact one-on-one with both our leaders.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish . I found this company just searching online for a tour of Pompeii and from our first experience communicating with Patricio , who was excellent, the whole thing was seamless . Booking was easy , professional and fully informative . On the day of the tour we were collected from our hotel lobby and driven expertly and professionally to Pompeii where we were met by Paulo at the gates and whisked straight through for what turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences we have had . We have always been reticent to book tour guides as our experience in the past has been hit and miss . Not so with Paulo , he was amazing . So informative , knowledgeable , personable and fun . He made the whole experience for us and would highly recommend the tour but even more so Paulo . He made the two and a half hours seem like minutes, I actually had to check my watch to make sure it was this long ! At the end he guided us back to our driver where we were effortlessly dropped back to our hotel . If you are considering a private tour of Pompeii then look no further than these guys . This experience was super low stress and easy! Our driver (Francesco) picked us up from our hotel and drove us straight to the entrance of Pompeii where our tour guide (Josephine) was waiting for us. Our tour guide was very friendly, especially to our daughters (6 & 7) years old. She made the tour very efficient and was very knowledgeable about Pompeii.

Excellent private tour with great guide who also wheelchaired me all around Pompeii which was a rather exhausting job. The guide at Pompeii was extraordinarily informative. All in all a great trip due to great people.

We are so pleased we booked this private tour. From booking the experience, right through to going on the trip, it was top notch. I can't recommend this highly enough. Our guide, Paulo has to be one of the best guides we have ever had. We had 10 people in our party, and to be able to go at our own pace, stop where we wanted, and the way Paulo answered questions, didn't rush us, allowed us time when we need it - just WOW. I was nervous about booking a tour that was not part of our cruise, but this worry was not needed. We had more than enough time. And, seeing other groups that had booked via the cruise line with LOTS of people, we were pleased we booked ours privately for the 10 of us. The pickup driver was a nice man but did not speak English well at all and no understanding of English. I had to call for his number to find out where he was. We were waiting in the pick up area and so many people we did not know where to go to find him. When I called him he was speaking a lot of Italian and took a long time to connect. He finally walked up to us after me giving him my location. He drove safely. Viator should automatically supply driver cell # and send English speaking driver. There was a communication issue on return as well. This is reason for 4 stars I cannot say enough good things about our tour guide Paulo. So knowledgeable about Pompeii and made the tour great. Was also very kind. What a plus to be guided by someone who is actually an archaeologist and has a lot of experiencing giving tours. I highly recommend this tour. It was a lot of walking and uneven surfaces but worth it to see this historical place. Highly recommend.

Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and in the short time we were there, we saw all the highlights of Pompeii. I had no idea how big it was so if you really want to see all of it, I would do a longer tour but ours was perfect for our group of 11.

This was amazing trip that exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 9 with 4 teenagers and everyone enjoyed the trip. Paolo was the best tour guide ever.

We had an excellent tour with Paolo, it was both informative and entertaining. We maintained a good pace which allowed us to cover many different areas, while also avoiding the crowds. The driver was prompt with both pickups and the van was comfortable and a nice reprieve from the heat. Paolo was waiting for us upon arrival with tickets in hand, allowing us to minimize the wait time when entering the park. Overall a great experience, private small group tour is the way to go.

What a wonderful experience. We had good communication with the driver before we were off the cruise ship. No trouble finding him once we were off the cruise ship. We had an excellent experience with this tour operator, they were on time picking us up at the port with a sign greeting us for easy contact. The vehicle was nice and A/C worked well. Our tour guide, Romulo, was an excellent and knowledgable guide. He answered all our questions, walked at our pace and the time flew by. We highly recommend this experience for your time in Pompeii.

Almost perfect! Our tour started a bit rough as our driver was ten minutes late to arrive at the pick up point. However, our tour guide at Pompeii? Paulo was amazing! He comes from a long family line of guides and is a wealth of knowledge. We left with so many fun facts and truly enjoyed our time together. Our children loved the added bonus of attempting to find the 14 cats living within the ancient city’s walls!

We would like to thank you for a wonderful tour yesterday. Our tour guide ,Paulo, was excellent. As you know we had some young kids with us and he kept everything relevant in scope while making our day very interesting. We all had a great time. The driver that picked us up was not friendly. He thought we had 4 people, I showed him our reservation was for 6. Our guide for Pompeii was outstanding!! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Paolo was terrific. He had been an archaeologist working at this site

We scheduled a private tour of Pompeii through Tour Travel & More for our one day stop in Naples while on a cruise. From the time we booked, Maya Nader was helpful and informative. The tour was the best decision we made. We had a private car (driver was Alessandro) take us to and from Pompeii also arranged through Maya. Our tour guide, Paulo, was the best! He was so full of information that we would have missed otherwise and he carefully steered us to see all the notable sites without the crowds. I would not hesitate to schedule a tour through Tour Travel & More in the future.

The driver had a comfortable sedan and was a good driver from our hotel. I would recommend tour but I do think it is a little overpriced for the time it takes

Gianluca (Driver) and Paul (Guide). We’re both amazing and so accommodating! Gianluca had maneuvered himself to be just outside gate when we finally disembarked! Paul promptly met us at Pompeii and gave us the inside track of seeing mist amazing sights with minimal crowds with history and language background! Only way to tour!

Tour company provided a map with exact pick up point at the port and driver was on time. Celeste, our guide inside Pompeii, was fantastic. I had been to Pompeii before but she took us to both the newly excavated areas and some of the other notable highlights which gave us a great perspective on the many years of continuing discoveries within the archeological site. The drop off and pick up points at the city gates were planned to allowed us to see more with the time we had. Celeste is very pleasant, knowledgeable and seems passionate about the ongoing work being done to share the unique history of this amazing site.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The tour drivers were easy to locate and very kind and friendly, especially towards the many children in our group. They were clear in the timings we had at each stop and easy to communicate with as we roamed around each location. We particularly loved our tour guide at Pompeii who was super informative, funny and accommodating to our needs including finding a restaurant for my elderly parents and infant daughter to wait at while we completed the tour as it was simply too hot for them to join us as originally planned. Although our timings and day felt super tight and exhausting, we truly enjoyed the drive and time spent with your tour. It was well worth the cost and everyone felt relaxed and enjoyed our personalized time instead of going with a larger group tour. Our Naples to Pompeii day was excellent. Our driver was timely, had a sign at the port and drove us directly. However he did not speak or understand English. I contacted Viator and our guide Josephine answered that she was waiting for us. Josie was so passionate about Pompeii and made our private tour for 15 interesting and fun. Very professional and her knowledge of Pompeii, the rooms and art so well explained.

Highly recommend this private tour of Pompeii. We were on a cruise stop and didn't want to do an excursion w/ the cruise line (and large groups) so we did this private tour. It was fantastic! Our kids (aged 13-16) loved it as well. It was easy to meet the driver at the cruise port terminal and we had him drop us off at a pizzaria that was within walking distance to the cruise port on the way back so we could get some Napoli Pizza then walked to the ship. It was great!
