Pompeii Half-day From Naples

Our tour was a semi private tour , we were a total of 8. Our guide from Naples Rebecca was super sweet and helped heard us all safely and efficiently to Pompeii (speaking in both English and Spanish!) . In Pompeii we had a tour guide Maria who successfully and skillfully gave the tour in both Spanish and English as well. We were extremely impressed by their knowledge and ability to communicate to a group in both languages simultaneously. They serve a raise! Their explanations and the knowledge they shared really put into perspective what a vibrant and important city Pompeii was in its time, both before and after the Roman occupation.

Book through Fabrizio at Info Turismo Napoli. Couldn’t have been easier. Our main tour guide, Aldi from Napoli City Vision, was very helpful & informative. He put us in a small group of 10, for a tour at Pompeii, with a superbly knowledgeable guide, Erica. Couldn’t have been a better visit to the incredible Pompeii ruins.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable. The ruins are fascinating and a great way to spend a half-day. The tour begins early, so you still have time to visit Napoli. The bus was new and punctual. Alex speaks like five languages, and both employees were friendly and helpful..

The part where we got to see Pompeii was great but the tour itself had major flaws. It was unorganized. The ride back was a huge ordeal because most of our group was I guess continuing to amalfi but 8 people were going back to Napoli and that became a major issue. Our guide left is with someone else, the bus driver didn’t want to drive only 8 people back. Fought with the “new guide” the whole way back. Overall was not a pleasant experience. I would go to Pompeii with another group unfortunately.

I loved the visit to Pompeii because our guide, Maria, explained everything in detail and was super pleasant at all times. When you have a good guide, you will undoubtedly have a better experience because you know you can ask questions and feel more comfortable while learning a little about a city as important as Pompeii. I am undoubtedly very satisfied with the excursion that Maria provided us; thanks to her, I am leaving knowing a little more about the history of the world.

Bad. I booked at 8 AM and they sent me a message that it would start at 9. Then, when picking us up, they went by 3 more places, we ended up arriving at Pompeii at 11 AM, and then another half hour to be able to enter. Bad logistics because they wanted to change our transport, the guide who came for us didn't even speak the language well, and the other guide was very disrespectful. Not recommended

The guidance from the hotel to Pompeii, the guidance within Pompeii, and the guidance from Pompeii to Amalfi were separate, and everyone was kind and guided us in English. In particular, the guide who drove us from Pompeii to Amalfi provided so many services, such as singing canzoni, explaining their meaning, and taking pictures at the scenic spots along the way until we arrived. Thanks to that, my first trip to Pompeii and Amalfi was also very satisfying. Thank you!
