This panoramic stop in Meta allows you to take pictures and have a memory of picturesque Sorrento! Meta rises about 111 meters above sea level and covers an area of about 2.5 km2, which include both coastal areas, with over 800 meters of coastline, and mountainous areas, with the hamlet of Alberi, Monte Vico Alvano in the South East, 642 meters, and part of the Camaldoli Mountains.
The Li Galli islands make up a tiny archipelago between Capri and Positano, one of the most evocative places not only in Campania, but throughout the Mediterranean. Three islands form the archipelago, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda and La Castelluccia, and together they integrate an extremely suggestive marine protected area.
Positano is perhaps a unique place in the world! It is a jewel of spontaneous architecture, set on the rock overlooking the sea. Clusters of colorful houses, sometimes cubic in appearance, are built on often very steep steps, which descend to the beach, connected by alleys and long staircases.
Legend has it that in its sea lived the mythical Sirens who tempted Ulysses with a melodious song. And even today to go on that sea - with blue and green reflections, in a thousand different shades depending on the play of the sun - you can imagine that the waves emerge - beautiful and persuasive - the Mermaids. But maybe Sorrento is a Mermaid that captivates and enchants with the scents of lemon and orange trees, with olive trees with dark twisted trunks and silver leaves that move slowly, with a slight sound, in the wind coming from the sea, with rocks born from the distant fury of a volcano.
Pompeii is a town in Campania, located in the Gulf of Naples and on the slopes of the volcano Vesuvius. It is a city with an ancient origin: it was born as an Oscan settlement, was later inhabited by the Samnites and then, starting from the first century BC.C., conquered by the Romans. City buried by the Eruption of Vesuvius. Today it is known as the city where there is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The Roman city was in fact buried by lava following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.C. Lava and ash were a sort of cover that allowed the city to maintain itself over the centuries and to be protected from the elements; for this reason the city remained intact and can be visited today. The Amalfi coast was amazing and Pompeii fascinating, everything was on time and the van was very comfortable. Paolo the driver did a great job driving us up and down the mountain in narrow, twisty roads - a braver man me. Would highly recommend this tour

This excursion was by far the best on our 10 day Mediterranean cruise. We went to Sorennto, Positano, and Pompeii. This was a private tour for 4 and worth every penny. First of all the operator of the company was Davide who was in constant communication with me which is key. Some of the tour operators never reach out to you and you’re left guessing if they are going to show up when you get off the cruise ship. He also set up a tour guide for our group in Pompeii and the timing in meeting our guide was spot on. We did a 2 hour private guided tour in Pompeii with Eugenio D’ Orio ( He is was our guide for Pompeii. He was very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him) which was just enough time . I thought we had the perfect amount of time to explore each place not to mention we had lunch at a nice restaurant with a beautiful view that they set up. Ciro was our tour guide who was so nice, accommodating and awesome. I highly recommend this tour and tour group!

Took 1.5 hours to drive to Amafi coast. Walked around the shops. Then went to Sorrento. More shopping and yummy pizza. Then went to Pompeii for a 2 hour tour. Leo made the city come to life for us. One of the best days we’ve had in our cruise.

We had an amazing day. Ciro was an exceptional tour guide. He knew all the perfect picture stops and took photos of us. He gave us a history on Sorrento and Positano we visited, along with what to shop for in town! He was a pleasure to talk with and spend the day. Driving was excellent, he was so good, my husband and I both dozed off on the way to Pompeii. Ciro never rushed us and made sure we knew exactly where the location of pick up was so we felt comfortable all day, and he just laughed when we got Gelato twice! David’s was very customer focused, he went above when we had a little hiccup in our reservation. Communication with this company is outstanding, you can definitely tell they care about their customers.

We had an amazing tour. Positano, Sorrento, and Pompeii. Our tour guide was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable. They arrived at our cruise port on time and we drove to Positano. We stopped at a stand on the road and our driver bought us frozen lemon and frozen fresh watermelon in a cup. Delicious. We spent about an hour in Positano and then headed to Sorrento. Had a nice lunch there and then spent some time in Pompeii with a guide. Overall a very nice day!

This was absolutely the BEST ever! Our driver, Ciro, was amazing. He told us not only history about all the areas we visited, but went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience of all time. Even got to go to the ceramic factory and some some fabulous artistry! I would do this again in a heartbeat....and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the trip!

If lunch is chosen as part of the package, you will be taken to a particular hotel(all the drivers take their passengers to this location) and you won’t have a choice for a local restaurant. The view was spectacular but again it is a designated restaurant. The driver was very good however at times played the radio very loudly and I had to ask for him To turn it down. I would have enjoyed just listening to the natural sounds during our drive

The experience of traveling to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and Pompeii will be remembered as a special experience of a lifetime. The trip organizer called us to confirm the day prior to our excursion and set up a tour driver who picked us up in a luxurious Mercedes and dropped us off at our accommodation. My husband, son, me, the couple who accompanied us all had a fun filled day of informative sightseeing, including opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking.,We also enjoyed many laughs singing along to famous songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Luciano Paverati, and others. The driver was knowledgeable, entertaining, and professional. The views of these world renowned places were beyond words to describe their incredible beauty. You have to go see them yourself.
This private day tour with Vito was absolutely amazing. Despite the weather being very hot, the minivan was very comfortable, and we loved the flexibility that this service provided. The first stop was in Positano, and wow, what a picturesque landscape! Pictures simply do not provide the same experience that seeing this area of the Amalfi Coast in person provides. Vito gave us plenty of time to walk around, take pictures and just soak in the natural beauty and culture of this area. We really appreciated his local knowledge and history of Positano. Next stop was in Sorrento, and Vito was able to quickly get us a table at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We bypassed the long line and were seated immediately. Service was great and of course the food was just splendid. After lunch we had plenty of time to shop in the local city market on our own, and we didn’t have to follow a tor guide around and listen to endless point about the city. Vito provided just enough information so that we felt comfortable going off on our own and meeting up with him at later time. And the last stop was Pompeii. We bought our express tickets ahead of time, so we didn’t have to wait in line. This time of the year was super hot, so if you tour Pompeii in the summer, bring plenty of water, umbrellas and proper clothing! Begin able to quickly walk around Pompeii on our own instead of following a tour guide around for hours was so much of a better experience for us. It provided us so much more flexibility, which is what we preferred. Thanks Vito for providing us one of the most memorable experiences of our Mediterranean trip!
The areas covered by Vito were incredible. There is no substitute for a local with great knowledge of the area and activities. The only issue is if you are on a cruise your time in the different towns is limited, but that’s not their fault! There is too much to see.

We had approx 1:20hr in Positano and 2hr in Sorrento both beautiful enough time to fully explore. We then had 2hr in Pompeii, and we should have listened when Vito recommended getting a private tour of the ruins! If you walk around by yourself, you want to know what are you looking at as the are only a handful of signs and it's a huge site, but a great time nevertheless. A fab day out and I would definitely recommend!

Paolo, our driver was charming and adapted at all times to our wishes and needs, but it is not what we expected. We thought we had hired a private tour with a Spanish-speaking guide who would accompany us in Pompeii and explain some of the history of Naples and not a private car with a driver who struggled to make himself understood because he did not speak Spanish, who would take us to the places on the itinerary
