So much information, great hearing all about Napoli that I'm sure would have ever known or saw. Great treat at the end. It was a great Tour, Serena was awesome!!

This tour was a great introduction to the city. Serena was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We had a great time!
What an amazing experience this tour was. It made fell in love with the city. Noemi, my tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, very kind and fun, and besides everything, she's an excellent photographer.
We had a great time checking out Naples with a local we connected with through TripAdvisor. The trip wasn’t super structured, but that made it feel more real and relaxed. We got to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have found on our own and hear stories that made the experience more interesting. It was a fun and easygoing way to get a feel for the city. Thank you!
Thanks to Rita, we immediately approached the spirit, culture and history of the city. In a simple, understandable but at the same time very human way, she conveyed to us her love for Naples. She answered all our questions, tried and managed to convey her enthusiasm to us. We highly recommend her.
excellent guide… thank you armando for sharing the neapolitan heritage and culture ! armando has e competent and professional , perfect in english, highly recommendable
Roberto was a great host and guide. He has so much historical knowledge of the city and provided recommendations for after my tour. I was running late due to delayed travel but he was so kind and made me feel at ease immediately. I’d easily book with him again. Highly recommend. Grazie, Roberto!
It was weird. We pretty much just wandered around a bit of Naples. Saw nothing interesting or important. I read the reviews and they were good so I booked, but apparently “Off the beaten path” means don’t expect to see much. Our guide Armando was very personable and we liked him. We have done many city walks in other cities. This was by far the weirdest. Waste of money.
The old town and food markets. It was colorful and provided an excellent picture into the reality of Italian life. Also, Roberto is a great guide. He is vested in his Napoli, and it shows in his enthusiasm.
Roberto was awsome. His knowledge and insights into napoli history were super enjoyable. I def suggest you take this tour if you want to get away from the tourist areas and go where the locals live.
Napoli is very nice architectural city with lots to see and enjoy. It was a pleasure to see this city in this fashion and a guide is definitely the way to go.
Armando was very informative and carried on a relaxed conversation throughout the tour. We learned about everything from the history of Napoli to the present day culture. We stopped along the way to try a local vendors street food. Grazie Armando!
Waited at the meet up point for 30min and guide never showed up or contacted us. We tried to call several time to the agency or the guide still no one picked up. Worst exprience
We loved our tour with Pina. We got great recommendations for our downtime in the city. We really loved both that she recommended including the castle at the top of the hill. She recommended a couple of restaurants as well and they’ve all turned out to be wonderful. I’m so glad we booked this tour. It gave us a good layout of the city as well as the things to do and not to waste our time on. She was great and I would totally book again!
As we were a blank canvas talking about the history and culture of Napoli, Rita took us on a trip explaining the history of this lasagna city and showing us some fine places in the city mirroring the culture of young and old. You're not in a history lessons but on a date with a Napolitana who breaths Napoli.
This was a fantastic tour! Gennaro was the best tour guide. With my husband sick in bed while we were at port in Naples, it was great to have someone to show me interesting points of the city. He was fun and informative. It felt like hanging out with a friend. I would recommend him to anyone!
Excellent 3 hours tour with excellent guide, Manuela. She showed us the well known and - even more important - not so well known gems of this wonderful city. Manuela shared her in depth knowledge on the historical, architectural and artistic features of Naples in fluent English which was very helpful.
Ylenia is a great and very knowledgeable guide. Her tour packed in hundreds of years of Napoli’s rich history in a few hours. Very nice food stops too. Highly recommended.
Excellent walking experience through the old historic section. Raffaele entertained while educating us with local history, architecture and local folklore. Raffaele pointed out places of interest we may return to explore and offered suggestions on where to buy the best pizza. Who could ask for anything more.
We had a great guided tour through Napoli with Armando. He had a lot of knowledge about his city, but without giving his audience the feeling of a lecture, as some other guides tend to do. Instead he combined history, politics and society with the experience of real life in Napoli, having lived in the area his whole life. He took us to some really beautiful streets off the beaten track, some cool neighborhoods we would never have found unless he showed them to us, and even to his favorite cafe. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we touched upon interesting topics. The whole group was happy with the tour, even our enigmatic friends Steve and Cheng which is quite hard to please.
Tour guide was knowledgeable, good sense of humor and gave us more than history but the complexities of Naples. Sorry sir that we don’t remember your name but we will remember our tour! We were in Naples for only 1 day and are glad we took this tour.
Millie was fabulous. She was a delight and very knowledgable. The tour took me to places I would have never thought to visit in Naples. The street art was probably my favourite part. Just seeing Naples in a new way was fantastic. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to seeing a different side to Naples.
My tour with Ramona was exceptional. It was not a traditional, historically-centered tour, but more like having a friend walk you through their city and point out their favorite spots. That said, Ramona did sprinkle in knowledge about the city's history at various points in the tour. We stopped at several places for spritzes and snacks which my partner and I absolutely loved. We also got on the subway at one point which was a fantastic way to get an a better feel of day to day life for those living in Naples. I give this tour a 10 out of 10 because my partner and I felt like we got so much out of our time with Ramona. That said, if you are looking for a tour routed in history and archeology, this tour may not be for you. Thank you, Ramona for an unforgettable afternoon - your American sister! <3
When you tour with a local guide, you have an opportunity to experience the location through a different lense. Our guide Mariarosaria was absolutely wonderful. A native of Naples, her passion for her city allowed us to experience it with a sense of awe and wonder that I think would have been absent had we not had her as our guide. Mariarosaria was more than a guide. She was like an ambassador of the city. She also took such good care of us, going the extra mile to help us purchase funicular tickets and making sure we had her number should we have questions at any time during our stay. Many thanks, Mariarosaria!
Alessandro was an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the city and its customs made the tour very informative but his passion for the Napoli made the experience unforgettable. I also found the tour gave us a better understanding on how to easily navigate to other areas of the city and helped us plan the rest of our time in Napoli better. If you come to Napoli, I would highly recommend a tour with Alessandro for a one of a kind experience.
Great, alternative tour of Naples. Really get a feel for the city and the art that is all around. We did Pompeii in morning. This tour after lunch. Perfect day.
Me and my girlfriend wanted to get to see the best of Napels in a single afternoon. We wanted a tour guide that would give us exactly that. Armando was easy to find and when we met the conversation started flowing naturally. This was a good start. Armando understood our wishes and has been an excellent tour guide for us. He is very knowledgable about Napels and its history and his story telling style is pleasant. We visited a couple of different sites that were pretty much all jaw dropping. All in all we would certainly recommend Armando if you are looking for a similar experience.
We had a private tour for my husband and I with Franco. Franco was exceptional in his local knowledge and fluent English. I am especially grateful because I have a mobility issue and Franco was so helpful and understanding throughout. We are looking forward to our return trip to Naples so we can complete more tours with him.
Franco was a wonderful guide. We learned some history of the city and different neighborhoods. Walking thru markets and stopping in a few interesting shops such as the violin makers shop, the booksellers shop. Enjoying a relaxing moment in the piazza. It was quite enjoyable stroll thru much of Naples. Franco provided a lot of interesting information on the steets that we walked, the piazza’s and the buildings in each area we passed through. Thank you for a wonderful tour.
Sometimes one can be apprehensive in booking an international tour guide, but rest assured, booking a walking tour with Armando is like walking the streets of Naples with a friend. Armando is punctual, knowledgeable, warm, sincere, and generous with his time. His passion for history is evident and he is very conversant on a number of issues both historical and present day. We found Armando to be genuine and sincere. He shared with us “his” Naples, and it was relaxing, informative, and most enjoyable.
Rita was great company, had a wonderful feel for the city and talked a lot about her passions - art, street art and history. We enjoyed exploring the backstreets of the city and learning a bit more about all sorts of things!
Ylenia was our guided tour!!! We had a wonderful experience and time with her. She knows a lot about Naples’s history and we loved!!! I highly recommend her.
Sidestreets, history, religion and politics. We got a very interesting tour with all the above mentioned, sprinkled around. Armando is a openminded and learned Napolitani, who mixes his background with history and Napels.
What a wonderful experience! Armando is first of all a very kind person and wiht him you get a personalized tour with a real napoleatan (which is also fluent in English ). Armando loves and appreciates his very special city. his knowladge about Naples history, culture ,its people ( and their special stories ) are impressive and fascinating. you can see durinng the tour speicial corners of Napoli -shops, street art, lesser known churches, and of course, eat special and great special local food( and no- im not talking about the Baba that you see al around here ) Indeed, what one can learn from Armando about Napoli - its past aswell as its present - is something which is impossible as a visitor to learn from books etc. I couldnt appreciate Napoli as i do now without Armando ( and I had been here almost a week doing some sightseeing by myself and organzied tours before having the tour with him- and yet, nothing is comparable to Armando!!\nThank you very much again Armando for the special experience - I cant say enough good things! and reccomned to anyone who wants to learn and experience the real Napoli to hurry up and book a tour whith Armando. I will certainly ask him again next time im here !
Franco was a great guide! He took us in and out of all the wonderful corners of Naples and shared his love for unique artisans in town. We would highly recommend Franco as a guide for anyone visiting Naples!
We had an absolutely fantastic morning with Alessandro! He's an expert in the history, arts, and architecture of Naples, and his insights really set the tone for our trip. Plus, he's a total world traveler and regaled us with fascinating stories from his adventures. We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Alessandro. His knowledge and enthusiasm were infectious, and we learned so much from him in just a short time. We'd wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking to explore Naples and get an insider's perspective on the city. All in all, we had a blast with Alessandro and can't thank him enough for making our trip to Naples so memorable. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and fun guide, look no further than Alessandro!
Alessandro (Alex) was the best tour guide we could have wished for! Although we booked a specific tour, he was still kind enough to change the plan completely according to our wishes. Alex is super knowledgeable, friendly and funny! He answers every question and truly brings you off track :) I cannot recommend him enough!
We had an amazing afternoon in Naples with Rita. She provided the perfect mix of history, stories and humor. We loved the special pastry treat. We felt a real appreciation of the culture and personality of the city of Naples.
We are traveling for two months in Europe - Portugal, Spain, Italy. By far, the time we spent on Rita's tour was the most fun and rewarding. She knows her city, she knows her history, and she knows her art & food! A real joy of a tour for all 3 of us. Thank you so much, Rita.
Rita provided background and extensive history about the sites that we saw. She also provided information about myths that were the origin of names of places and certain symbols and art objects seen in and around Naples. All was very interesting and informative. She is fluid in English and extremely knowledgeable about Naples. She even introduced us to some delicious local pastries.
Rita's enthusiasm & wealth of knowledge changes our perspective of Naples tremendously. 4 days in Naples didn't cover as much as we like to see. A return visit is on the horizon.
Mariarosaria customized our tour, fought for us when a proprietor got huffy about using her bathroom (yes, we did buy drinks there), and she treated us like we were having a family reunion. It was great having a vera napoleatana for a guide!
We had the most fantastic time with our lovely guide Rita. She truly made us love and understand more about Napoli and the culture as much as she does. There is no question that is stupid and she is very accomodating to your wishes. There don´t seem to be anything that she doesn´t know and you will get that little extra knowledge that you won´t find in a guide book.
Our guide did not show up and did not contact us or reply to our messages. We were very disappointed and concerned about his professionalism and the credibility of TripAdvisor.
Our guide Rita had a lot of knowledge about the area, and shared more than just historical facts about the city. She talked about the street art and cultural relevance of the architecture, and shared a lot of interesting stories about the history of Naples and what it’s like to live here. She took us to a great cafe and ordered a local pastry for us to try.
I landed in Naples without much of a plan. I found this tour on Trip Advisor. I was happy that they had availability very last minute for me. Although Roberto was unavailable to give a tour, he was able to find Renato to give me a tour. Renato was very nice and had no problems with English. He showed me around the Spanish Quarter, and took me to some great street food vendors so that I could get a taste of Naples, although there was more food for more than one person. It was very nice to have a private tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour. I would also recommend that you wear some good walking shoes because the roads are a bit uneven and some steep hills.
Rita was slow & not very enthusiastic. We had just landed into Naples & needed an excursion to keep us awake until we could check into our hotel. This excursion did not help. She went on & on about what all the graffiti meant through out the town. Not something we were interested in at all. When we stopped for a pastry she started smoking without even asking if we would mind, which I did.
Thanks Armando and girlfriend for a really friendly, nice and interesting walking tour in Napoli. We really enjoyed it. It was an easy way to get to know the city. And thanks for the advice on which pizza place to go to. Really good.
Thank you Rita for a wonderful experience of Napoli! It was a superb introduction to a beautiful and vibrant city! We greatly appreciated how considerate you were, tailoring the tour to our needs, ensuring a delightful experience!
The city walk was nice and interesting. The guide prepared and friendly. an experience absolutely recommended.
