We had a wonderful experience with Donatella. She was super informative and even gave us ideas for places off the beaten path we could check out on our own. I highly recommend.

Itinerary
This isn’t a route you’ll find on any map. It’s a street-level look at Naples—led by someone who knows how the city works, and where it surprises you. You’ll move through local neighborhoods, not tourist zones. Expect open conversations, a few detours, and a pace that follows real life rather than a schedule. Here’s how your day might unfold:
Set above the noise of the city, Vomero is residential, breezy, and unexpectedly scenic. Locals come here for the space, the quiet, and the views that stretch to the sea. Your host might lead you through backstreets or toward a lookout point most visitors never notice.
This quiet stairway winds below Castel Sant’Elmo, offering panoramic views of the city and the fortress above. It’s a peaceful detour locals use daily—far from the crowds, close to the city’s heart.
The Petraio staircase doesn’t try to impress. It just is—old, quiet, and real. As you move downhill, balconies lean overhead, ivy creeps through railings, and votive shrines tuck into corners. It’s a stretch of city that’s never been polished for tourists.
You’d miss this church if someone didn’t point it out—which is the point. Tucked behind residential buildings, it’s part of the neighborhood’s fabric, not its photo ops. Your host might take you inside, or just stop to explain why it still matters.
Chiaia doesn’t shout. It moves at its own pace—residential, refined, and mostly local. Between quiet alleys and courtyard gates, your host may point out a favorite bakery, an overlooked building, or a shortcut they’ve used since childhood.

Anna was very professional and kind with us. I gave her 5 stars but she worth more than that. Perfect guide.
Just in Naples for a day off our cruise ship. So glad we had this private tour with Nunzia who created a great walking tour based our interests. We saw sights and learned so much that we never would have without her. Not to mention she’s simply one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Highly recommend!
We booked a highlights of Naples 2-HR walking tour through Viator and it was a great experience. Right after I bought the tour, Daniela contacted me via WhatsApp to find out what we were interested in seeing, and once she knew what we were interested, she quickly came up with a plan for our tour. The tour turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, a combination of history, the people of Napoli, the food scene, and the architecture. Daniela was very knowledgeable, gave us just the right amount of information, and shared some local hidden gems. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and we highly recommend Daniela.
Donatella was an exceptional guide for our private walking tour this week. Walking the city with a charming and knowledgeable local gave us so much insight. We walked areas we would never have found. She also pointed out her favorite foods and local establishments which we later went too. If you book this tour , request Donatella. She is the best!! Thank you Donatella
Daniella was a perfect host and guide. The day after Christmas in Naples is an extremely busy time. Lots and lots of out of town folks literally clogging up the streets. Daniella was a trooper still able to show us the historic sights of Naples while navigating throngs of people. It was the feel of New Years Eve in NYC in Times Square at 11:45pm on 12/31. She was still very much a gracious and knowledgeable host and very professional. We would absolutely tour with Daniella again. If you are coming to Naples it is a nice city but very much a bit rough around the edges so if you are coming from Rome prepare yourself for a much different type of city feel and experience. I would definitely take it off the list of places to visit especially the day after Christmas which is a holiday here also unless you are looking to be pushing your way through crowds.
Helpful, fun orientation to the city. Renato was very knowledgeable about the city and spoke excellent English, which was very helpful since we don’t speak much Italian. He met us at our hotel in Chiaia and took the metro to walk through Centro Storico on Christmas Eve in the rain, and had a great time seeing several sights (including a stop at a little salumeria to try local foods) despite the less than perfect weather. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I’d recommend this walk 100%.
Daniela was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. Seeing the underground tunnels was a highlight. Worth noting that is a good 25 minute uphill walk to the meeting point at piazza san Domenico Maggiore, NA. From the cruise port
If I could give this tour a 10 I would! Nunzia was our tour guide and we felt like we were walking around with a good friend. She is knowledgeable and passionate about Naples and it shows. She adjusted the pace of our tour to accommodate our slower walking style but we did not feel rushed. She explained everything and provided answers to all our questions! although the name of this tour is Naples Hodden Gems, the true hidden gem is Nunzia! We highly recommend both Nunzia as well as City Unscripted for a great personal tour!
Our tour guide, Daniela was fantastic. She took us to parts of Naples that we would never have found on our own, telling us the history and stories along the way. Her knowledge was outstanding … this was definitely the best way to spend the limited time we had in Naples.
Roberto was so knowledgeable and passionate about his Napoli! He found us, which I really appreciated and he took us to all sorts of interesting places and had lots of stories and history to share. I highly recommend this tour with Roberto.
Armando was an amazing guide! First, I inadvertently forgot to complete the forms in advance so he had no idea that my mother was joining our walking tour in an electric mobility scooter. He provided us with a very detailed interesting tour of Napoli! We learned a lot about the culture, history, and the food! His ability to pivot and provide us with such an engaging tour was one of the best part of our trip! I highly recommend Armando!
We had an amazing experience with the lovely Daniella. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We walked quite a distance through some very historic parts of Naples. Daniella explained everything in detail to us. There was so much to see, and we never felt rushed. I have a bad hip but was able to manage slopes and steps. Very enjoyable.highly recommend. Thank you Daniella.
My parents and I did a 3 hour tour with Daniela. It was fantastic. She showed us a ton of cool stuff and gave us a completely new appreciation for Naples. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and answered a ton of our questions to include specific dates, locations and explaining what we were seeing. Daniela's English was excellent, she was exactly on time, and she was flexible showing us what we wanted to see. I highly recommend doing a tour with her.
Three-hour private tour: Daniela contacted us before and based on the online questionnaire proposed an itinerary. Three hours is ideal for a guided tour without getting tired. Daniela led us to discover Naples and its history. Much appreciated the visit to San Lorenzo Maggiore, an underground Naples off the classic routes.
Guide very prepared and friendly charming places useful tips also on places to eat and how to continue the visita
Daniela is really good and helpful. She was able to accommodate our every request, created a tailor-made tour and told us many anecdotes about the city.
