This sunset motorcycle tour exceeded my expectations and was another highlight of my time in Naples. My driver and host Sal was easy going, respectful, friendly, and great to talk to. He was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. Experiencing Naples by motorcycle gave me a unique perspective of the city and an appreciation for how locals live and commute. It felt authentic and allowed me to see parts of Naples in a way I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. The sunset views were absolutely stunning, and the ride back from Mount Vesuvius to Naples was breathtaking. As the sun disappeared beyond the horizon, the golden rays painted the sky with beautiful colours. Watching the city gradually light up during the ride back to Naples was cool and created the perfect ending to a memorable tour. Thank you Sal and the Moto Tour Napoli team for another wonderful experience. Your tours have been a highlight of my visit. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to discover Naples from a different perspective.

Matteo was amazing! You get to see the most amazing views of Napoli with him, via moto bike, and see what it really is like to live here. Felt very safe , he gave me an amazing tour of the city, without having to walk or climb stairs. Hilarious and entertaining and he gave me great food recommendations. I felt completely safe (-as I have never ridden a moto before) and it was the highlight of my trip in Napoli! I highly reccomend for anyone visiting the city.

Matteo is a highly skilled Napolitanian driver and guide. This combination gave us the best possible tour of Napoli on a sunny Sunday morning. Matteo’s love of his city gave everything an extra dimension. We highly appreciated the views, talks and insights into contemporary Napoli.

We had Matteo (future mayor of Naples, his knowledge was so extensive) and Agostino (who will soon be a merchant banker, after completion of his finance degree) as our riders and guides. They were fabulous and asked what we wanted to see. We asked them to show us their favourite parts of the city, which they did in style. They easily negotiated the traffic and held an amiable conversation about Naples, living in the city, it business and likely future. They were happy to answer lots of droll questions from us, as we learnt a lttle more about this fascinating place. Our time together was short, but really delightful. Along with our visit to Herculeneum with an extraordinary archeoligist this was one our favourite things to do in Naples. We wished we had more time with these terrific fellows. Italy's future is in safe hands if these promising young people are the measure of Naples society. Do yourself a favour and seek them out, and maybe book them for a longer journey aound Naples it is a fun and safe way to get around. Grazie Mille

Excellent communication, timely, very comfortable guy to spend the morning with and even picked me up at my hotel! I was a little anxious about riding on the back of a strangers motorcycle but Matteo made me feel safe and at ease quickly. He’s an excellent driver.

It was really a good time. My teenager loved it and me too. Even though the traffic is busy and the roads are bumpy, it was a smooth ride. Matteo and Renato are amazing as drivers and as people, no fear, no stress, just a great way to discover Naples and I highly recommend Moto Tour Naples.

I only had a few days in the city and wanted a fun, efficient way to take it all in — and this Vespa tour was perfect. I was a little nervous at first (it was my first time on a Vespa and I’d heard Naples traffic had a reputation!), but my driver, Renato, was incredible. I felt totally safe the entire time, and it ended up being one of the absolute best experiences of my entire Italy trip. The views were unbeatable, and the ride gave me such a unique perspective of the city — one I never could’ve gotten on foot or by car. On top of that, I had a bit of a scheduling issue and the team handled it so smoothly and professionally. They even picked me up and dropped me off right at my hotel! This tour was fantastic. My experienced, knowledgeable and friendly driver made me feel safe weaving through Neapolitan traffic on two wheels, and in two hours I feel like I got a real "sense" of the city on my second day here! It was great learning about the history of the place and stopping for stunning panoramic views. If Napoli is a way of life, this tour is the perfect introduction to it. Highly recommended!

Matteo was fantastic!! I had one day in Naples and booked the tour with Moto Tour Napoli in an attempt to make the most of my short visit. He was able to squeeze me in with just 2 hours’ notice, and came to pick me up from my hotel. We rode around for 2-3 hours, and I was able to see Naples’s diverse and distinct neighborhoods, learn about its history, and see the city from this completely unique perspective. Matteo was a fantastic tour guide and an even better person - it was such a pleasure to hear his experiences as a local, and he was so insightful and generous with his time! After the tour, he also gave recommendations for great bars in the area, and showed us a great time around town! Couldn’t recommend Moto Tour Napoli more!

This moto bike tour in Napoli was such a great experience. We got to skip all the traffic, check out Vesuvius, and ride through different neighborhoods—way easier than walking everywhere. Matteo, our guide, was fantastic. He knew so much about the city and kept things fun with stories and local insights. It felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on a tour. The guides speak a bunch of languages, so everyone’s comfortable. If you want to explore Napoli in a fun and relaxing way, this is the way to go. Can’t wait to see them do this in other cities—I’ll be booking again!

Jealous of all of the locals on motorbikes? So was I, but definitely did not want to try my hand at driving one, enter: Matteo and Raffaella. My friend Andrew and I (we are in our 30s) had a blast riding on the back of motorbikes with two of the most incredible drivers/guides you could ask for. We did the sunset ride (6P in Summer), they met us around the corner from our accommodations and despite rush hour traffic, we zoomed up to the neighborhood of Vomero and were taken to the most gorgeous overlooks/vistas of the city where Matteo pointed out neighborhoods and architecture and explained the city's layout. Then we hopped back on and headed down the hill, taking in the gorgeous views riding along the water. Geez what a thrill! We ended our journey in the Spanish Quarter with a little coffee stop where Matteo gave us some dinner recommendations in the area. Thank You Raffaella and Matteo! This is my #1 recommendation to anyone who is visiting Naples.

Matteo and his friend were amazing hosts! We were collected from right outside of our accommodation, and had an exciting and informative journey with amazing views and plenty of photo opportunities. Matteo even worked out a date with us that would be more sunny so we could enjoy the view more. The tour ended with a stop at the seaside to relax with a drink which was included in the price, and throughout the whole tour Matteo told me about facts and history from the city of Napoli, even on the bike. The tour was fast paced with points to stop and enjoy the views, and considering it was a tour through Napoli traffic, the tour was very safe! Both riders dropped us off at a location of our choice. Once in a lifetime experience, 100% recommended whether you are spending 1 day or 1 week in Napoli! Grazie Matteo!

Matteo and Pedro were wonderful. The roads in Naples are difficult to navigate to say the least but their tour is an excellent way to see Naples. They are friendly, accommodating, and keep you very safe. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour.

This experience was the highlight of my trip to Naples! At the last minute, I decided to take a day trip from Roma. After looking at different tours of the city, I thought this would be the most fun way to see different parts of the city. I was able to see so much more than I would have on a regular walking tour and am so glad I did it. Matteo was so accommodating and helpful. On the morning that I booked the tour, the weather was not too good. He offered me a few solutions, including taking it hour by hour to see if the weather improved, doing it a few hours later than originally scheduled, or on the following day. We touched base in the early afternoon, and pushed it back a few hours to miss the rain. From the conversations about that, to even when he showed up at my hotel to pick me up, he was so friendly, patient, and accommodating. No pressure and he was completely flexible to make sure I was ready and to give me the best tour possible. I enjoyed seeing the city he is so proud to be from and really enjoyed our conversation. I come to Italy as often as I can and I would definitely book again. I highly recommend this tour as a fun, adventurous way to see the city from a locals perspective.

First off, Matteo was an incredible tour guide. I felt like I was visiting with a friend. He was so easy to talk with and knowledgeable about different things that I was interested in. Took a beautiful ride through Naples after 13 hours of traveling. I only had a day to take in the sights so I thought this would be a fun option. Even though I am totally afraid of being on the back of any motor scooter, motorcycle, etc, Matteo made me feel safe. The views were spectacular, conversation was great and easy flowing. I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the best activities that I did while I was in Naples. Matteo, my driver was extremely well versed with the city and knew all the best spots to hit. It was great hearing the history behind the city of Naples and visiting popular places. I am a solo traveler and Matteo made me feel comfortable while also engaging in some great conversations. I highly recommend hurdling over the back of Matteo's scooter for a tour with him :-) I had a great evening with Matteo. Communication was great (very easy in English, I'm sorry for my nonexistent Italian) and the company were upfront about their fees and even told me to cancel my original booking and rebook to save money; Matteo was very flexible on the pick up location, which was very gratefully appreciated, and even had a spare jacket as it got a little cold towards the end of the evening. The tour is great. It's very personal, and gives you the opportunity to ask the questions that you are curious about in Naples that you may not be able to in a group tour. I had a really interesting conversation with Matteo about life under Vesuvius and growing up in Naples. He answered questions honestly and candidly and showed me the best views of the city. He is clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about his city and enjoys sharing this with his guests. He also found a local gem for fried pizza for me before I had to take the train home. As a solo female traveller, I felt super safe with Matteo; and the ride on the scooter was refreshing after plodding around like a donkey in the historic quarter in the morning. 10/10 highly recommended.
