Great experience. Great food! Location next to many other things to do as well. Would take family to do again.

Itinerary
As soon as we arrive and get to know each other, we will start preparing our Tiramisu to then put in the fridge to eat. We will whip and eggs and prepare our cream. Then we will complete our tiramisu with coffee-dipped biscuits and a rich sprinkling of cocoa. Once the tiramisu is finished we will begin to prepare our Italian egg pasta dough. Once the dough has been made, working with our hands and simple rolling pins, we will make our pasta sheet from which we will then make our pasta shapes. We will cut and fill the Ravioli with fresh Ricotta, we will prepare the Maltagliati to eat with potatoes and provola, and we will also make tagliatelle for the Nerano pasta. We will talk about the tools, flour, eggs and other ingredients and I will reveal the secrets to having a good cooking point. After preparation, our chef will cook the pasta you have prepared and you can eat a plate of each prepared dish, water and 1 drink are included. we will close the meal with coffee.

Great pasta and tiramisu class! Great instructor named Matilde. We made 3 types of pasta and the chef did 3 different sauces. Love d our tiramisu! We ended up having a private class, which was great!
Simona did a great job fun and informative experience. Good location if you're there on a cruise ship port visit.
Had a great time making pasta and tiramisu with Simona - very kind and quiet enough on a Sunday in October to get private tuition as it was just the two of us, perfect! Cannot wait to try the tiramisu recipe at home
Had the best time chatting and making dessert and pasta. The host was very attentive and chatted with us, whilst explaining the steps to follow for the recipes. All staff were lovely.
Excellent instructor, fun and energetic. There was plenty of food to eat at the end
Honestly it was so hot and no air conditioning so difficult to truly enjoy
This was an amazing class! We had so much fun making fresh pasta and tiramisu. Highly recommend you book!
We had an amazing time learning how to make tiramisu and pasta. The lesson was great, and the host was lots of fun! It was absolutely delicious, would recommend!
Highly recommended activity. The class was so much fun and insightful. All thanks to the amazing host Simona. She was a delightful host and teacher. Definitely worth the value. In addition to getting to eat what we cooked I.e tiramisu and pasta, there were also add-ons like bruschettas and drinks. 10/10 experience. Will totally do it again.
Amazing evening with Matilda. Everything was just perfect especially the pasta! Matilda was engaging and helpful my husband and I had a blast and we had a delicious meal!!! I would recommend this to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful evening 🩷
We had a great day, easy walk from cruise port, perfect amount of time, quaint venu, very friendly staff, excellent instructor, Matilda, was sweet. Lots of food, don’t eat breakfast before hand. Great way to spend a few hours in Naples.
Great small group experience - made three types of pasta and tiramisu from scratch. Lots of food which you then get to eat in a lovely restaurant setting. Would recommend!
Super professional staff, fun experience. They set everything up for you and walk you through Tirimisu first (individual serving size) then you make three types of pasta. You sit down, they cook for you and you enjoy bruschetta, red and white wines, and 3 different pastas and different sauces/preparations.
Wonderful experience. Learned alot as this was all hand handled no machine
Such a great thing to do! Staff were great and the lady running our class was so informative and lovely. The food was so tasty. I couldn’t recommend it any more! Worth doing while you’re in Naples.
My family and I really enjoyed learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. Make sure you go to the class hungry because there is plenty of pasta to eat afterwards. Everything was delicious!
Authentic taste of Naples provided by a very knowledgeable and welcoming group of locals at a locally run restaurant!!
We had a wonderful time learning how to make fresh pasta and tiramisu. It was a small class so we had the undivided attention of our fantastic teacher. Over two plus hours, we made the tiramisu and pasta and then greatly enjoyed eating it with some lovely wine. This was well worth the price. Ensure you arrive on an empty stomach!
Great experience. Location, setting, people all GREAT. Definitely would do it again. Fun class. Can’t say enough good things about this class.
This was a lot of fun with a group of friends. The class was easy enough for old and young. The host was fun!
Well organised and engaging cookery lesson with Italian ingredients making pasta in Naples. How much more Italian can you get. Superb experience. Excellent food. Would highly recommend.
The experience was amazing. Loved learning how to make pasta and tiramisu with my family. Also fun meeting new people in our group
Highly recommend! Made 3 different types of pasta and tiramisu. A drink and water was included too. Great instructor, she was very helpful. Great group!
Great fun and enjoyed eating the fruits of our labour afterwards. Excellent, happy and pleasant staff. Value for money. Highly recommend.
Such good fun, met some lovely people, staff at restaurant lovely and history lesson on pasta, and locality. Great venue and food excellent
It was such a beautiful setting in the amazing Italian restaurant with the city of Naples as the back drop. Our instructor was so great and helpful. Would recommend this class to anyone.
It was so much fun. I highly recommend this experience. They place was clean and very professional. What better way to have pasta in Italy. Our teacher Manuela was fun and very knowledgeable.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt off. The group before us had just finished their session and were eating their food, but they looked completely miserable. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a preview of what was to come. Our class was a large group made up of smaller groups, all of whom seemed very nice. However, there was little opportunity to interact due to the teaching style. The instructor ran the class in a very rigid, almost military manner. Instructions were unclear, rushed through quickly, and repeated without any further explanation when questions were asked. It felt more like watching a pre recorded demonstration than being taught in person. The set up was also poor. Fourteen of us were crammed around a small collection of tables, with only three bowls between us to discard egg whites while preparing tiramisu. The tiramisu ended up being the only edible part of the meal, but even that was mishandled. There were not enough portions for everyone. Two of my friends were left out entirely, and the instructor’s solution was to share her own premade mixture between them, which was far from ideal. The lack of organisation showed throughout. At one point, the instructor snapped at a participant who was trying to follow along, and on another occasion she snapped at someone who asked for gloves, complaining that this meant she would have to go upstairs to get them. This created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. Those sitting further away could not hear the instructions at all, while those close by could hear but still found them unclear. Struggling participants received no guidance, as the instructor simply moved on to the next step without checking if people were ready. When the pasta was collected, it was served communally on shared platters, meaning we did not even eat the food we had prepared ourselves. This might not have been a problem if the group had bonded, but since there was no opportunity for that, it just felt awkward. We then had to wait around for the same table to be cleared and reset for dining, during which time we witnessed staff loudly arguing with a customer. The meal itself was extremely poor. The pasta was undercooked, flavourless, and unpleasant to eat. While we were not expecting fine dining, the combination of badly prepared food, poor organisation, and an unfriendly atmosphere made for a very disappointing experience. Overall, the class lacked clear teaching, proper planning, and any sense of enjoyment. What could have been a fun and engaging evening turned into something stressful and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this class.
the worst cooking class i have ever been to. from lack of equipment , to rudeness of staff as well as the food we made coming back cold and mixed with others food. the instructor has not engaged with anyone in the class and when a question was asked it was met with annoyance
It was great fun, and was well organised. Instruction was clear, and it was nice to sample fresh pasta at the end. The Tiramisu was delicious! The venue was lovely - bright and very Italian! It was good to get a copy of the recipes...will definitely try this at home!
Manuela was such a joy. Part entertainer, Part educator. Guided through making three styles of pasta and tiramisu. Best part is enjoying the fruits of our labors, dining on our creations. Such simple ingredients and key techniques to make preparation almost foolproof. Can't wait to get home and make these dishes for guests. Great rainy day option.
Manuela did an excellent job walking everyone through the pasta making process. Great value for the money.
Fantastic cooking class ! The young lady who taught our class was very nice and knowledgeable. The setting was very nice. Upstairs at a restaurant with very nice decor. We made a lot of pasta and some tiramisu. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend!
Very informative, funny, tasty experience. Emannuel Giacco was brilliant and was very kind and thoughtful as she paid d special attention to a visually impaired attendee.
It was a lot of fun. Much easier than I expected. My instructor was a very sweet young woman who is very skilled at her job. I'm not sure what I expected, but using only hands and a rolling pin surprised me. And it was very tasty! The chef prepared our fresh pasta and served it for lunch. Also included was one drink of choice. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and it was the best I've ever had! I enjoyed my beautiful luch by a window overlooking a castle!! So cool! The restaurant is very close to the cruise port and easiy to walk to. It is a quaint place with fun decor and amazing staff. It was closed during the classes ( pizza class happening downstairs while I was upstairs), but as soon as it opened it filled quickly with locals as well as tourists. Obviously a favorite, and the pizza looked amazing. I highly recommend this excursion!
A fabulous experience and well worth it, great value for money. The young lady teaches us was wonderful and equally as patient. A delicious experience. Thank you.
Had a great time learning how to make pasta and tiramisu! The instructor did a great job of explaining the different steps, demonstrating, and helping out when needed. The class did feel slightly rushed, and I was expecting that we’d also be cooking the pasta ourselves. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn how to make homemade Italian food, and also appreciated that they provided us with recipes to take home.
Our instructor Matilda made pasta and tiramisu look easy and still taste great. With the use of simple ingredients we had a superb meal. The class was presented in a friendly and encouraging environment. I highly recommend this activity on your Neopalitan journey.
A great activity to do with teens preparing your own meal in Italy. A fun cooking class for everyone with easy to follow instructions. A nice atmosphere with very friendly staff.
We had an absolutely fantastic time at this workshop! Our family of five (including teens) joined a really fun and welcoming group, which made the experience even more enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel at home. They were knowledgeable, patient, and had a great sense of humor, which made learning both fun and relaxed. We got right into the action: mixing dough, rolling pasta, shaping it by hand, and of course, layering up a classic tiramisu. Everyone had something to do, and even our teens were fully engaged. The pasta turned out delicious (we still can't believe we made it ourselves!), and the tiramisu was absolutely yummy. It was also a great opportunity to learn a few cooking tips and Italian kitchen traditions that we can take back home with us. What made the experience even more memorable was the friendly, social atmosphere. We laughed, cooked, and shared stories with others in the group, by the end, it felt like we were dining with old friends. This workshop was a highlight of our trip to Naples, fun, tasty, and meaningful. Highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on Italian cooking experience.
I stood directly across from the instructor and still couldn’t hear what she was saying. I was able to see what she was doing and that is the only reason I could follow along. From the very beginning she seemed annoyed with the group. She did not walk around and assist anyone (the pizza making class was going on simultaneously and that instructor was engaged and actively walking around and helping). The people at the end of the table had no idea what was going on. At one point she said “I’m the one with the microphone” yet didn’t use it. We were all talking because we had to pass down the instructions to the people next to us. She ruined the whole experience with her attitude. If we were experts at making pasta or tiramisu we would not have signed up for the class!! There are many other cooking classes offered in Naples and we will try another one on our next visit. Save your money and skip this class. I gave it 2 stars instead of only 1 because the gentleman in the restaurant downstairs was very friendly.
What a wonderful class it ended up only being my daughter and I taking the class since the other group ended up canceling last minute so the instructor ended up giving us special attention. I can’t wait to go home and share what I have learned with my family and friends.
The class was well-paced and the instructions given were clear, and it was good that instructor went around to check / help others when needed. However, the table was very long and it was difficult to see what the instructor was demonstrating. There should also be a minimal age for this class as there were too many young children present, which was distracting (since most of them were just having fun), and the class was often held up when the instructor had to help them. Was also very, very disappointed that you do not get to eat the pasta that you make, as they cook everyone's together and distribute it randomly thereafter. We spent a lot of effort and were very detailed in making our own pasta, but the others not so much. So we ended up eating some really crappy pasta with too much dough that even the sauces could not cover up. Understand that as a working restaurant, cooking each person's pasta individually may be too much effort, but at least be upfront about this so that people aren't disappointed by what they're served. At least you ate the tiramisu that you made but that's a fairly simple dish to make on your own.
The whole experience was fun. Definitely would recommend it. Received bruschetta with a drink and a recipe at the end was a nice touch/treat inclusive of the package. Thank you Aliseya. You’re a fab tutor very friendly , approachable and sweet. 👍
Great experience. Matilde was incredible. Fun fun fun . Food is fabulous. Started and ended on time and you get to take the recipe home
Our family recently took a hands-on pasta class in Naples on July 8th, and it was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. We had so much fun together, and it was a highlight of our trip. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it perfect for families looking to create memories while learning something new. The food was outstanding—everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. We especially loved the **bruschetta** and the three types of pasta we made, all cooked to perfection. Sitting near the pizza oven, we couldn’t help but notice that every dish coming out of the kitchen looked just as tempting. Our instructor was helpful, guiding us through each step with patience and enthusiasm. My only suggestion would be for her to speak a bit louder, as those at the far end of the table sometimes struggled to hear her instructions. There was another class happening nearby, and that instructor was much louder—almost like she had a bullhorn—so a little more volume from our teacher would have made things perfect. The decor added to the charm, with a rustic, old-world Italian vibe. The large blown-up photos of Sophia Loren and the lamps made from upcycled wine bottles were unique touches that made the space feel special. A quick note for future guests: there are quite a few flights of stairs to reach the class area, so anyone with mobility concerns should be aware of this in advance. Overall, everyone was friendly and the experience was both educational and entertaining. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Naples who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cooking in a warm, memorable setting.
We were so looking forward to this as a family and considering the cost we felt the lady who gave the class was very light with the ingredients and rushed her way through the class. We fell behind slightly as our daughter couldn’t keep up with her pace and she didn’t slow down to help her or anybody, she only wanted to tidy up and get out of there. The food therefore was only average and I most definitely would not recommend this to anyone. It was way too expensive for the assistant and service we received, dreadful experience
This was so much fun for my family including my teenage kids. They walked us through step by step. And we were able to enjoy our product at the end
Not impressed! I thought we’d get to make and eat our own pasta, but you actually don’t. Everyone’s in the class gets put in a big pot and mixed together, then served. We were very cautious and particular about making ours, but others in the class, not so much. There were kids in the class too young to cook and many other people that just didn’t care. That being said, the result was just eating a bunch of crappy pasta. I would’ve rather skip the lesson and just gone to lunch somewhere. You actually don’t make three different kind of pastas, you make one pasta and out of that you make a long pasta a ravioli, and the rest is just cut up scraps that they throw a bit of sauce on not even enough sauce to cover the noodle so it ended up just being a clump together mass of cooked dough. One of the sauces was a plum tomato sauce, which was decent at best and the other was like a green zucchini sauce, which and all the years of eating Italian food I have never had and it was not good. Spend your money elsewhere and take a YouTube cooking lesson.
