After the pick up in Naples city you will start panoramic drive to the winery through the National Park of Vesuvius. This activity provides you with a unique opportunity to reach the most characteristic location of the region in comfort and safety enjoying amazing views of the Bay of Naples.
Upon arrival, enjoy approximately 2 hours of free time to visit Vesuvius independently, allowing you to explore the volcanic landscape and admire spectacular views over the Bay of Naples.
After Vesuvius panoramic visit , you will arrive to the local winery located on the slopes of Mt Vesuvius where you will enjoy unforgettable tasting experience combines the land and its traditions in a flavorful whole, beginning with a guided walk through the vineyards on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius overlooking the Bay of Naples, Sorrento, and the Island of Capri. Afterwards, we'll tour the winery where Lacryma Christi DOC is produced, and end sitting down for a wine tasting, paired with samples of local specialties from little corner of paradise on Mount Vesuvius. As legend: the famous wine was born from the tears of god after Lucifer ripped the sky in the Gulf of Naples.
After the wine tasting experience and typical lunch, rebord your minibus and return back to Naples
This was incredible. The winery was amazing with gorgeous views and an interesting history. Lunch was delicious and Pepe (our tour guide) drove us to another incredible view after it was over. We bought some wine to bring home!
A very enjoyable day! Our driver got us to the vinyards quickly. Once there, we had excellent wine, delicious food and breathtaking views of Vesuvius.
This was a very disappointing experience. Firstly the tour we booked was not what we received. We booked a tour with free time to climb Vesuvius. We were told by our local tour guide that particular tour does not exist but yet it is still advertised on your website. The vineyard tour was very basic and not very informative. The wine tasting was non existent with only 3 meagre glasses of wine. We were informed very rudely that we were on the basic tasting and others in the group were on a superior tasting. We found this hard to believe as we paid 240 euro for this tour. We feel we did not receive what we paid for which is very disappointing. We contacted the local viator agent but she was not at all helpfull.
Overall great tour, but not quite as advertised. Giuseppe our tour was amazing. The pickup in Naples was convenient but a little awkward because we picked Giuseppe at Pompeii. The winery tour was incredible, with the owner and staff — it’s something I’ll remember forever. The wines and lunch were fantastic. Views weee unforgettable. The winery is at the base of Vesuvius. My only qualm is that I specifically picked this tour over other others because it included a crater hike. We didn’t do that at all. When I mentioned it, they offered a walk around the vineyard, which we had already done.
My wife and I had an amazing time on this tour. The day started off great with a drive up Vesuvius then hiking to the top of the crater. After that we went to a winery where we had a great selection of their wines paired with delicious food. Our driver, Guido (which actually means I drive in Italian), made the trip incredibly special. He was super knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The tour itself was great, but if you end up with Guido as your tour guide you are going to have a blast.
Amazing experience ! Trekking up to the crater of volcano, and then total relax enjoying food and wine experience was really good choice. Everything well organised!

De excursie is de avond van te voren geannuleerd door de aanbieder, omdat we de enige waren die deze tour hadden geboekt. Het leek onze een geweldige combinatie. Helaas konden we de avond van te voren met geen mogelijkheid meer tickets krijgen voor de Vesuvius en hebben we die niet meer kunnen beklimmen tijdens onze vakantie. We hebben ergens anders nog wel een wijnproeverij kunnen boeken, ook daar waren we de enige twee, maar die ging, zoals het hoort, wel gewoon door en was gelukkig ontzettend leuk! Maar hier kan je er niet vanuit gaan dat wanneer je iets boekt, dat het doorgaat.
