From Naples: Amalfi Day Trip To Positano Guided Tour By Sea

We had the best tour with Samuele!! He was very find and knowledgeable about every question I had. We spent an hour on Positano, which was nice but not enough time in my opinion, it could easily be a 2 hour stop. We then went down to the Almafi coast area and that was delightful! Quite crowded so I spent some time in the city center and some time roaming any exploring the not so tourist drenched areas as well. During that time I did a 45 minute boat tour that was absolutely splendid. Samuele came along on that excursion as well and made a point to share the best vantage point on the boat. I highly recommend the boat tour option. It’s not too long and the water wasn’t too choppy. I enjoyed every single minute of my time, from the original meet up until we got back to port and all went our separate ways. We even bumped into Samuele another day in the city and he was just as kind as the day before, when he was our guid. A kind soul indeed. The tour listing was a little misleading in the language saying it was a speed boat tour the coast areas and it was in fact just a ferry. Perhaps a fast one, but coming from the states I was expecting a cozier smaller speedier boat. Smooth and very comfortable ride. I traveled with two friends and we all took naps on the boat so no complaints there! Just wanted to point out slightly misleading language. I will absolutely recommend this tour to friends visiting the area. I had a blast.

Our tour with Samuele was fun from beginning to end. our guide, Samuele was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The tour was extremely organized. It was quite helpful to take the ferries to Positano and Amalfi with the guide with the towns being so crowded the Samuele helped narrow down where to go and how to navigate each area and made great recommendations for what to see, do and explore. He gives you plenty of time to explore on your own time and is there if you need assistance. It is also fun to connect with other members on the tour. We highly recommend Napoli Official Tour and Samuele was a great guide! We enjoyed getting to know him and all that he had to share!

My family and I had a really great day today in Positano and Amalfi. We enjoyed a lot this nice day, and we made many activities following the recommendations of out guide, Sammuelle. He made out experience here really incredible. Thanks.

Awful experience! The Tour Guide cancelled last minute, we agreed to go ahead with the day trip independently then got ripped off by Trip Advisor paying for ferry tickets with only a 10% refund for the lack of guide. The money we paid for ferry travel far exceeded the cost Trip Advisor paid to the ferry company for the tickets.

The information given by the guide before we were given free time to explore was extremely helpful and valuable to help us get the most from the visit

Had the pleasure of having Gianluca as a tour guide. He was very friendly and provided a great insight into the history of Almalfi and Positano. You also had the opportunity to explore both destinations at your leisure and take in the beautiful views. The tour was definitely worthwhile!

I knew I was going to be solo for a day in Naples, so instead of wandering aimlessly, I booked this tour! It was a breeze. I met Gianluca at the port and the group boarded the ferry to Amalfi and then Positano. Gianluca gave us the history of the areas we passed by while on the ferry, along with highlights and recommendations for each stop. Gianluca made the tour…he was fun, happy, thoughtful, and patient. The group had free time at each stop to do as we pleased. I would highly recommend the this tour!

Gian Luca was terrific. He had the main office call us to see if we were still coming or delayed. We were running late getting to the harbor. Gian was well versed in English and Spanish according to the demographics of our group and also was very informed on the history of the cities we toured. We felt well cared for as non citizens of Italy.

Our tour guide Gianluca was the best and took great care of us the entire day. Beautiful sites and much to do with dining, shopping and even time at the beach. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!!!

Truly a pleasant trip with our guide Gianlucas. Visited first Amalfi, then Positano. Had enough time to visit both places, take some nice photos and enjoy the cities. Gianlucas told us the story of both places and took care of us excelently all through the trip

We booked this tour on our cruise stop in Naples. It was a beautiful day. Our tour guide Gianluca was EXCELLENT—He was very helpful and attentive throughout the entire tour. He spent plenty of time with us, explaining everything clearly and answering all our questions. Gianluca speaks English, Spanish and Italian Fluently. What we appreciated most was how he gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace while still being available whenever we needed him. It was the perfect balance of support and independence. Highly recommended!

THIS IS A SCAM! they lie about availabilities and change times AFTER you pay, and when you can't make it to their sudden new time, they do not refund your money and you get no response from Stefano Bianco, from Arzano. Horrible scam of a business! I'm now out $119.23 USD because they conveniently changed plans to something that was absolutely impossible for me to make.

Absolutely great tour, due to our guild Gianluca, he was so accommodating to our 3 year old and helped at the pharmacy with her, as she had some bites she n her face. He was a great guild for tour with clear information and recommendations for all places we visits. I would highly recommend taking a tour with this gentleman, even gave us a few spots to visit in Naples for great food.

We absolutely loved our tour guide Gianluca. He really took care of our daughter when she was a little nervous on the boat when she found out we woukd be encapsulated underneath the boat and not on top of the boat in the fresh air. The entire time he went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and we so appreciated him and his great care. Regarding the boat ride itself, we were very disappointed. We didn’t realize the ferry was closed in and looked like an huge airplane inside the boat. The windows were clouded up and you couldn’t even see through them. There was no place to sit outside, it was all underneath the boat. We didn’t expect a huge sized ferry as we thought the group and ferry would be small. We also didn’t know the boat would make stops to Amalfi at Capri then at Sorrento on our way back from Positano which ate up a lot of time. We then got on a smaller more enjoyable boat coming back from Amalfi to Positano (20 min ride) but then got on a different boat again at Positano. The different boats just felt disorganized and inconsistent. All of this should have been disclosed from the outset and again was a big disappointment. It was because of Gianlica that we continued with the boat ride. I’ve never met a more concerned and empathetic tour guide. He was simply excellent and we won’t forget him ❤️.

Superb day. Magnificent weather. I had discovered the Amalfi Coast by minibus 20 years ago, but by boat it is a thousand times better. I was not expecting to have the explanations in French, but our guide Samuele speaks French very well and explained everything to us. In addition, we were a group of 10, which was quite comfortable. Samuele recommended some places to us and we were not disappointed. Only one regret....the day went by too fast 🤭
