Come hungry!! We had a great evening tour with Manuela but made the mistake of a late lunch so even the 6 stop tour was a challenge for us. She was a fabulous guide, showed us the highlights of the old town Naples and took great care of us.

Connie was a fabulous guide. She took us to some great restaurants, shops and markets. All of the food was delicious. Connie also provided a lot of history about Naples and a lot of information about life in Naples. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to others.

The guide was extremely familiar with the area and the business owners. The theme was street food, and Naples has a lot. Gaia was so knowledgeable about the area. You will be standing and walking 95% of the time. The limoncello and gelato were excellent. Be ready for a carb load on the rest, but all the foods were good.

Such a great way to spend the afternoon in Naples. We tried foods we would have not even known about and walked through all the popular neighborhoods. Our guy was so knowledgeable. We really enjoyed it.

Doing a private tour allows for a personal experience and an opportunity to learn from a Napoli local and Connie was just that. She helped me shoot for gifts for our grandchildren especially the baby doll for my granddaughter. She was amazing!

Our guide GAIA was wonderful and very accommodating. It was a very hot day, so would not recommend a walking tour in the heat of the Summer.DID NOT feel it was worth how much we paid $503.20!

Maria Rossa is amazing. She has a tremendous amount of Neapolitan historical knowledge as well as insights on all the best spots to have a taste of something true to Naples. One bit of advice, come hungry!

We did this tour as we were passing by Naples and wanted to have a cultural and culinary napolitean experience. Our guide was a native from Naples and introduced places that seems to be his favorite spots. The food we tasted were Authentic and delicious and we had a great time.

Roberto was amazing. He grew up in Napoli, so it was very informative and fun! Great to be with a native guide.

Paola was wonderful! She provided history and information about the city while walking around Naples enjoying local food. We felt so comfortable with her and thoroughly enjoyed our time together! At the conclusion of our tour, she even helped explain the subway system to us so we could return back to our ship without issue. The food we tried was excellent, but the tour itself was disappointing. Our guide spoke so softly that it was difficult to hear her, even after I asked her to speak louder. She also tended to ramble about unrelated topics and didn’t seem to tailor the experience to our interests, so we didn’t walk away having learned very much. The tour also felt poorly planned. We were originally booked for 6 p.m., but on the day of the tour, our guide asked us to move it to 4 p.m. because she said the shops would be closed later. If that is normally the case, 6 p.m. should never have been offered as a booking time. Once the tour began, it felt as though we were simply walking around and entering whichever shops happened to be open, rather than following a thoughtfully planned itinerary. The entire experience was much too casual and disorganized for the price. Although the food was great, I expected considerably more professionalism, structure, and insight from the tour itself.

Mariarosaria was our guide and she was amazing. It was just my niece and I and our guide. We walked to many different areas of Naples, Sampling street foods . Authenticate food that will spoil you for the food you’ve just been settling for and didn’t know it. Wear comfortable shoes. We were only in Naples for 1 day on the cruise stop. This afternoon tour was an excellent way to see the streets and neighborhoods and local food and culture . Easily enough time to be back on board and the tour took 3 hours and Mariarosaria helped us hop on the subway from our meeting point. As my niece said, “we rented an Italian nonna for the afternoon!”

What a wonderful experience!! Mariarosaria provided and unforgettable tour! We ate the most amazing foods, learned the history of Naples and have wonderful conversations along the way! she even helped us hail a cab at the end of the tour!! I don’t know if you can request a guide by name but I would definitely recommend trying to have Mariarosaria guide you!

Connie was amazing! Great energy, great knowledge, we not only got to taste all the gems of Napoli but also got to see a lot of the sites too. There is a lot of food to taste so come hungry!

Ettore was fantastic! A native from Napoli, who speaks impeccable English, gave us a wonderful tour of the city! His choices for food samples was great, introducing us to the origin of Naples' foods. He shared history, culture, including pop culture, helping us appreciate the city all the more!! I'd highly recommend this tour!!

Ylenia was a wonderful guide. We received lots of information about Naples along route. She even helped us organise a tax for our return to the airport. The only constructive feedback for the tour company is that the initial communication was confusing. We were assigned a different guide at first, times were asked to be changed etc. Beyond this, it's the second time we have done this tour and I would recommend!

From start to finish it was nothing but a great experience. We were met ontime at the location that we agreed upon. Great introduction I thought we were going to do and of course if we wanted to tailor or anything during our 10 stop tour if we were given the opportunity to. Miriam was a ball of fire her knowledge of the area was incredible not only knowing about local food but local history. During our walk from place to place we did learn more about some of the areas we were walking through and she pointed out many historical places and had great stories of the past to go with them As for the food tasting, all of the places that we were taken to were unbelievable. She was like a local celebrity because everybody knew her because she interacts so well not only with the community but with her guests. We've taken many tours over the years of travel and it is great to find a great local guide that cares just as much about her City as she does her guests. If you have the opportunity to go into the Naples area and definitely give her a try you would not be disappointed. 10 out of 10

Our guide Gennaro was EXCELLENT. The amount of information we learned about Naples and the Campania region was all new to us. The food tour provided additional insight into the history of the food and area. His knowledge provide us with a much greater appreciation of Naples and history.

Had a lot of fun walking and eating around Naples with our guide, MariaRosaria. Went on a Sunday. Walked through different markets, the Spanish Quarter, and other places I wouldn’t have known to visit. Ate at one of the oldest restaurants in Naples, and loved the fried pizza. Eggplant parmesan was so much better than the stuff I’ve tried in the past. Would do gladly do this again. Thank you for a great visit, MariaRosaria!

$250 down the drain. Tour guide doesn't show up and then offers to reschedule after we leave the city. No refund. Stay away from this one!

Really glad we decided to try a food tour. Marta, our well-educated guide, took us through Naples town center. She spoke not only of the food, but of the history and architecture. We sampled foods at places we would not have found on our own. We really felt the local connection. Marta even arranged for us to go behind the counter and watch our Napoli pizza being made. Her knowledge and personality made for a great experience. Would definitely recommend but go hungry and leave room for dessert!

Naples was one of the places that we originally didn't have a tour booked for our cruise so we decided to book this as we thought it would be neat to have someone who was familiar with the local food places. This tour did not disappoint! I know some reviews said it was a little pricey for the food but we got so much more out of it than that! Our guide (she was the sweetest but I for the life of me cannot remember her name :( ) gave us a great tour of the area and the history as well as some amazing food! She was very aware of the time and when we needed to get back on the boat as well as what our likes and dislikes were. I would definitely recommend this tour!

My husband and I decided to do the 10 tastings and had the privilege of having Renalto as our guide. Renalto was excellent. He was kind, caring, informative and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the tour was scheduled on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm when most eating establishments are closed or closing or the food isn’t as fresh. Renalto was able to find alternatives which reflected the diverse foods/drinks of Napoli. We were completely happy and satisfied, if not full, from the tour. We were able to walk all over the city and tried (not necessarily in this order) pizza margherita (and we had the opportunity to bake it ourselves), pizza frita, a cone of fried seafood, espresso, aperol spritz, cafe, pastries (baba rum, sfogatelle), limoncello, pasta ragu and genovese, and taralle. The tour was to be 3 hours but lasted a little longer. Renalto was on time and we enjoyed the tour immensely. We cannot recommend it enough except to consider a different day of the week or earlier, if it is a Sunday.

Despite prompt payment, several working phones for communication, the tour guide never showed up. Tour was to begin at 11am. Texted and called tour guide's cell number. No response. Nothing more offered than to refund my card in 3-5 days. DO NOT USE THIS TOUR OPERATOR!!!!!!

Tour was very good. The food stops could have been spaced more apart to allow for digestion of food. Maria the guide was very good and very friendly.

Me and my husband had an amazing time in Naples for our honeymoon and this tour was one of our highlights! Excellent value for money, wonderful and friendly guide and naturally, delicious food. We got to see local attractions on our tour too and got some local history. By the time we said goodbye we were absolutely stuffed! The experience being private meant it was tailored to us as we went and introduced us to Gay Odin, which we promptly went back to the next day. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Miriam was a great tour guide. Perfect English and you felt like you were seeing city as a local would. Went to places that would not have gone as tourist. Not only food tour but a city tour. Fun to try different foods from a variety of locally owned small establishments. Took a 5 minute taxi ride from cruise ship port to where Miriam texted us to meet. City is very walkable. Enjoyable day!

Manu is excellent and gave us an authentic experience as we walked through Naples and ate some of the most Delicious food we’ve ever had!!! It was a nice paced tour and she gave us several options to decide what we would prefer along the way. We tried so many different amazing foods and wish we would not have eaten breakfast on the ship before we started the day. Manu was knowledgeable and shared many details about the history and architecture of the city along the way.

We had a good time but Naples is so busy and chaotic it took away from the experience. The food was good - pasta, pizza, mozzarella, fried dough, limoncello and wine. Plenty of food for dinner thats for sure!

Lots of walking to see beautiful local sections of Napoli. And learn the history of the area. Be mindful the streets are uneven and full of crazy drivers! You should come hungry and be prepared to eat many delicious local foods and taste local beer, wine and cocktails. Roberto was our private guide and we both really enjoy our time with him. We give him an A+. He has a wealth of knowledge about the foods, the history and just a pleasure to sit and enjoy a meal with. It felt like making a new friend. At the end we were stuffed and ready to set out for more sights of Napoli. Thanks again Roberto!

Roberto guided my wife and me through Napoli. We went to his favorite stops. 1st, we had a biscotti cookie made from Pepper and Almonds. from there, we had Pizza, Pasta, Fried Seafood, Cafe, Limoncello, Wines, Baba Au Rhum, and so many tastings. He was an informative guide, and we had a great day.

Absolutely and awesome experience. So glad with did a private tour with Serena! She was so much fun, provided great Napoli history as well as an outstanding tasting tour. Our guide (Miriam) was very personable, charismatic, and informative throughout the tour. She took us through the Montecalvario neighborhood where we got to experience Naples in a unique way. Wine, smoked mozzarella, good conversation, plenty of photos, and smiles on our faces as we ended the tour.
