Double Dive Tour In Baia Submerged Park For Certified Divers

Absolutely brilliant, everything well organised, good modern kit, we had 2 great boat dives off a RIB, Rachel our guide was superb helped when needed and nothing was rushed. One of our group did the "try dive' and his guide (sorry forgot his name) was also excellent and ensured a fantastic experience for the new diver, who can't wait to get back into the water again. Also the boat captain was the best ever. Eduardo directions from the airport got us to the dive centre hassle free. All in all a fantastic day with a superb, professional and super friendly team made our dreams come true. I would highly recommend Subaia

Awesome dive experience in warm shallow water.

Thoroughly recommended diving experience, with an enthusiastic and welcoming team. My group of five was led by Alessandra, very professional and reassuring set up. We had an archaeological briefing (more detailed than expected but as a Roman nerd I loved it) beforehand and two 30-35 minute visits to the sunken Thermae and a large Villa. Impressive intact mosaics (which the marine archaeologist actually recovers with sand every day to preserve it), as well as columns, door sills, an oven with intact pipework, and a little bit of sealife as well. A fantastic way to spend a morning (9.30-13.30 for two dives, or can do in afternoon).

Had 2 very nice dives in the Baia underwater archeological park, with Subaia and it was a first-class experience, from arrival all the way to the end. Equipment in good condition, very nice and friendly staff, Icahn only recommend them.

Great day out. We were 3 x certified divers and one try scuba experience. Easy to communicate with, the equipment was in good condition and the information supplied including the archeological briefing was great. We did 2 x 5M dives in 2 separate locations in the archeological site and got to see all the mosaics, along with some sea life. Visibility was not amazing - probably around 5m, however, the guides worked hard to keep the group together and ensure that the try divers were OK. I would totally recommend, I do not know anywhere else where you can find a similar diveable underwater site.

We had a wonderful time. The site was amazing, the equipment of high quality and the team fabulous. They were very helpful and supportive. I have recently had some issues with my ears so I was a little anxious but I felt very supported. This was a perfect dive for me to test my ears and I am so excited to be able to start diving again. I had a little bit of trouble descending, but Simona had some extra weights and was able to add one to my BCD which sorted it. Shallow dive, about 5 metres. Highly recommend

The dives and the dive masters were great. I did the 2 dives and my wife snorkeled. The boat was a bit cramped but not so much that it spoiled the trip. Highly recommend!

The SuBaia Team is amazing, we had direct contact before and clarified all my questions. The dive it self is very well prepared and the historic explanation before was really interesting and useful. The Equipment was in a very good condition and the dives itself were very relaxed and we enjoyed a lot. Each dive session was around 40min. Thanks SuBaia team for this very nice trip.

Carlo and the team were incredibly warm and accommodating at short notice. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile. The team at the dive centre are super happy and friendly. The dive itself was fascinating, and was prefixed with a slide presentation of the park and the dive plans. All in all couldn’t be happier and would love to come back.

Our day in Baia was short and sweet. The archeological park was astonishing, ancient mosaics still holding colors from thousands of years ago! We even saw not one, but 2 octopuses! This was my husband's first time diving in the ocean, he just got his certification. The staff were great and took care of us. Our only wish was that we were able to dive longer and truly use both tanks. However, they can only have access to the spots for so long at a time.

Whether a new diver or want to see cool Roman architecture this dive was extremely enjoyable. Since it is in the harbor area the depths are not very extreme 2-3 meters for the dives we did. The Dive Shop was respectful, and charismatic. They also are discovering new mosaics and architecture over time so it's a good shop to support in their efforts to continuously chart the ancient Roman harbor. The only reason it was not a five star experience due to some rental equipment considerations.

The staff was extremely accommodating. My son did the double dive and was the only customer with three instructors, I did the snorkeling along with two other customers. It was awesome to see the sunken city, mosaics, walls and roads. My husband is disabled so waited for two hours in the dive shop. I wish I had known that other operators offer glass bottom boat tours so he could have explored like us. Afterwards, we went to a restaurant in the bay for a superb seafood lunch - our best meal of the trip so far.

Baia was genuinely the most unique dive site I’ve ever been to. The dive was very well organised and all of the equipment was in great condition. I 100% recommended diving with Subaia.

I was kindly and professionally (and with nice Napoletan humour 😄) received by Alex and Carlo at the dive centre. - The place and equipment are orderly and well maintained. - Carlo gave a 15min powerpoint introduction to the archeology, which was great. - We went out for two dives close to the coast, among the Roman Villas to explore ruins, columns and mosaics at depths up to 5.5 meters. Water temperature was 16 ⁰C ❄️😄, but we had good double wet suits. - The guys were super friendly and a lot of fun. Relaxed and professional. - Its easy diving and the objects to view are mainly 2D on the ground. So not diving within houses or structures.
