My wife and I enjoyed this tour. We found that it provided sufficient time at each location. At Pompeii we were provided a guide. She was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The small size of the group added to the experience. We found this tour to be an excellent experience and value.

fantastic from start to finish expensive but worth the money. We were collected on time by Chris the tour leader and Francessco the driver, a good explanation was given as to the day ahead . On getting to Pompei our guide massimo was great leading us around expertly and giving us as much information as was possible in the time. Please be warned that Pompei is such a big area that you always leave feeling that you have only scratched the surface this was our second trip of the week and i would expect that we probably saw a maximum of 30%. A simple lunch was had at Pompei before going on to Herclaneum , there we met our guide Daria who again was helpful and had a great knowledge she took her time explaining the site and was always ready to answer questions. A big thankyou to Chris and his guides and drtiver for a really great day. 100% recomended

Great way to see both Pompeii and Herculaneum in a day if you are short of time, and it is worth seeing both as they are very different. Alessandro - Alex - was a super guide, organised, friendly, full of local knowledge. It was a bilingual tour English/Spanish and he made sure everyone was informed about everything whatever language they were listening in. Very knowledgeable tour guides and a well-paced walk around the most interesting parts of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Driver was kind enough to drop guests at hotels after tour completion.

We booked VIP small group Tour max 8 people and were put on a tour with 27 people without any consultation. We paid a high price for a small tour because we did not want to be in a big group. The tour guide was great, Pompeii was interesting, but the large group spoiled our experience. We were given a small part refund only after we complained.

The group we happened to be with was great. Our “tour guide” was not who actually led the tours of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The stop at Pompeii started with a “tour” of a cameo shop - which was mainly high pressure sales of cameo jewelry. Pompeii itself was really interesting. The size and amount of excavation was larger than we expected - as was the quality of items recovered. There were a lot of tourists, but we were able to cover the entire site without rushing. Herculaneum was more interesting to me - partly because our guide knew so much about it and had the ability to show details without being the least bit boring. The differences between the two sites were obvious, so if you see just one site you would really not understand what happened when Vesuvius erupted - and you would not know the impact it has had on the entire area through the years.

Had an amazing time. Learned more today than all of high school. Friendly and knowledge guides and very comfortable bus. Giuseppe was the best. Worked very hard to make all of us happy

The site guide at Pompei was excellent. Group of 6. Saw recently opened areas but not ones usually listed in guide books. Lunch was tasty and adequate. Herculaneum via audio guide was not so great. (I hate audio guides!) site is small and must be terribly crowded in season. Skip this…

This was an excellent trip in spite of the weather (rainy and windy). They picked us up promptly at our hotel. The group leader, Francesco, ran an organized trip. The guide at Pompeii, Francesca, was excellent. We had visited Pompeii a number of years before and used an audio guide. Francesca added so much to what we had learned earlier. The lunch was simple but more than adequate. The weather at Herculaneum was worse and only audio guides were used but they were very good. It was as good a day as could be expected in the rain. I had read earlier that doing Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day was difficult. Probably in the summer it would be difficult but in the cooler weather, it’s really not a problem.

We were a group of four and we were treated to a wonderful and educational day. Glauco was such a fantastic guide. He showed us areas of Pompeii and Herculaneum that most people never see. I would highly recommend Glauco and this tour to anyone looking for an education day of living history.

Marco was a great driver, professional, friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable, accommodating. The MB van itself was very clean and comfortable. We will use Marco and team when we visit next.

We opted for a VIP tour of POMPEII and HERCULANEUM but got a second rate tour! The guides were good can’t fault that but we started with a group of eight and ended with a group of twenty hardly VIP. Lunch was provided but again not VIP, this was an expensive tour but the reality is it was with only the pick up that was VIP the rest was economy class. We wouldn’t recommend that you don’t do it and stick to the value for money standard tour.

Team was on time, guides were fantastic, and everything worked like clockwork. We were able to see everything we wanted to and really enjoyed the experience. Guides spoke English very well.

We were able to book the service from our hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Marco was our driver and did a remarkable job of getting our group of eight back and forth through Naples traffic to Pompeii and Ercolano. I would highly recommend booking this service if you need to travel around the area and wanted to avoid trains.

The tour company did a good job of delivering us to both locations but combined 6 English speaking with 4 Spanish speaking guests in Pompei and 2 Italian speaking guests in Herculaneum. The local guide at Pompei was unenthusiastic and seemed bored and the fact that she had to repeat everything in 2 languages limited our tour experience and interaction. The Herculaneum guide was much better but the 2 language problem persisted. This seemed to be an unsatisfactory tour company economy move.

Napoli City Vision was very professional and easy to work with. Both our driver and guide were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about Naples and the historical sites. Our only disappointment was that the tour felt a bit rushed. Maybe I should have done some more research, but Pompeii is HUGE, and we only were able to see about 20% of it during our tour. You only spend 1.5-2 hours at each site, and for us, it was just not enough. The small group tour is definitely worth it. We passed lots of huge groups as we were going around, and it definitely didn't look like a great experience.

This was a wonderful tour with a wonderful guide! Rosa was very knowledgeable and great with all of us. The lunch was great, the transportation was very comfortable. Our train was late arriving in Napoli and Christian from the tour called us and helped us find the meeting location.

All the guides were super friendly and helpful and kept us well informed of what we were going to be doing. We had Rosa, Valentina, Christian and our skillful driver Michel working so hard all day running us around. Thoroughly recommend this tour if you're in Naples - great experience of both historic sites.

The whole trip was well thought out and planned. It was nice to have lunch in between the two tours. Our tour guide at both sites was very knowledgeable, and Serena, our guide from Napoli City Vision, did a great job of overseeing the entire experience. I would definitely take another tour with this organization! Had a great time!

Ricardo made our trip! He went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our tour. We originally booked the Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii tour but we were not able to go to Mt Vesuvius due to booking last minute and no tickets being available. Because we were out on a different tour things got a little confusing but Ricardo made sure to fix any issues we had. At the end of the tour he even dropped us off at the train station. He truly made our day. The employees with this company are fantastic. Book a tour with this company! Thank you Richardo!
