Discovering Pompeii - Vip Tour/small Group

This was a very good tour of Pompeii. Christian, Rebecca and Mario were all wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable. They made sure everyone had what was needed and were where we needed to be. The actual Pompeii guide, Francesco, was very good even though it was very crowded due to ‘free Sunday’ bringing in more visitors. Thanks again for the wonderful trip.

Our lovely limo driver was Nikola, a cheerful 63 yr old former coach. He was very informative , talking about the towns along the way from Napoli to Pompeii.But what was memorable to us was how he shared his personal insights on the value of family life, being then father of an 18 yr old daughter and partner of a 53 yr old dental assistant. The ride to and from sorrento to Napoli was spiced with stories about his family and love life. There was no dull moment in the car either with or without traffic. Our guide in Pompeii was Francesca, whose ancestors hail from Austria. She was prompt And knowledgable about Pompeii and answered all our questions. Our Lemon orchard tour was with 24 yr-old Alexa. Observing the automated washing and sorting process of three different species of lemons in this family business owned by the same family for 4 generations was fun. She gave us a sample taste of their lemon compote and jam and limoncello with a recipe card. Who would have thought that in the middle of bustling Sorrento there are several hectares of lemon groves by the bluff with a gorgeous view of the sea! Next time I would suggest having dinner in the lemon orchard ! We completed our day with a visit to the plaza Tasso and visits to the church of st. Francis of Assisi , the Basilica of San Antonio Abate and the church of the Madonna delle Carmine. What a blessed day !

All the visit was nice. The guide was patient and explained to us a lot of interesting details of Pompei. The amount spent was well invested.

Very enthusiastic leaders. Quick, informative tour that hit all the major highlights. Main guide was great with 42 years of guiding at Pompei. Little difficult to understand at times as english was his second language but he was upbeat and funny and made the tour very enjoyable!

We had booked a max 8 person private tour to Pompeii but the trip unfortunately did not fully meet our expectations. Tour was overbooked by double so first we drive around Naples for an hour to pick up a lot of people and ended up with a minibus full of people. Pompeii itself was well worth of seeing and our guide Clauco knew what he was doing. Otherwise, we had to wait in several occasions for something and then new people were added to the group and others left to another destination, which was confusing. Just be aware of this if you pay quite an amount of money for small group, max 8 person trip instead of a regular bus tour (which cost one third of money). Would not recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Pompeii! We were picked up in the morning from our place by Christian and an awesome driver. We picked up a few other people and drove to Pompeii. We met up with our guide who took us on an amazing tour. She was so knowledgeable, and shared so much history and interesting facts with us. A guide is really necessary here, do we highly recommend taking this tour.

Our driver was polite and very good at navigating the ridiculous traffic in Naples. We were picked up right at our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes mini van. Our group was just four people, and our guide Monica took time to answer all of our questions and cater the tour to our needs. She found many shaded places and encouraged us to drink water. This tour was an excellent experience and a great value!

After the tour of Pompeii, we were accompanied to Naples by Aldo, very nice and prepared driver. Aldo not only accompanied us to the center of Naples, where we had planned to have lunch, but also explained the history of all the places crossed in the street. We passed by Herculaneum and Portici, saw and discovered the history of local Villas, also kindly gave us the opportunity to see the mural of Maradona, and those of Troisi, Pino Daniele and Che Guevara. A complete and unexpected tour on the return journey. Thanks Aldo for your availability and your sympathy. Highly recommended.

I went with a friend on July 27 on the 8:45 tour and all the guides were amazing. Giussepe on the bus and Rosa in Pompeii park were super friendly and all very well organized. Rosa saved us several rows in the park and clarified doubts. They were really watching us. Highly recommended.

We visited Pompeii with this company and the experience could not be better! On time, friendly and very organized. The hotel came to find Guseppe, the guide who would accompany us to Pompeii. Giuseppe is lovely and very funny, a 10 guide! Once in Pompeii, we were welcomed by Mary, our guide in Spanish. The visit was wonderful, and Maria did great. We definitely recommend this company!
