We toured with Giuseppe. He was thoughtful, honest, informed, and nuanced. We were very happy to have spent our short time in Naples in his company. It is too bad that yhe average tourist wants a light and entertaining tour because I am quite sure Pepe could have brought us so many more layers. He did a wonderful job.

A great insight into the history and culture of Naples, our guide did a great job, about two hours and two miles walking approximately, after booking we received an email suggesting a tip of between 10 and 20. Euros, on top of our initial payment, wasn't sure about that, but was happy to pay this at the end, as did everyone, still good value, also 2 Euros at the start for the headset, all in all, we'll worth it.

This tour was such a wonderful introduction to Naples! Giuseppe “Pepe” was our amazing guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and his pride of his city and heritage was heartfelt. He gave us a deep appreciation for all things ‘Napolitan’. You will not be disappointed - book this tour!

Great value tour. A good way to see the highlights of Centro Historico and orient yourself. 2 hours is long enough. Alessandra was a great guide - the radios worked well to hear what she was saying. There are hundreds of other tours going on at the same time, so the morning is a busy period in the lanes.

Giuseppe gave a brilliant and multi-dimensional guided tour of Naples Old Town. Giuseppe was both well-informed and amusing and gave a great overview of the history, religion, culture and idiosyncrasies of Naples from Greek through Roman, Spanish and Sicilian times and world war 2 to now. He put so much into the two hour experience undeterred by the (to us) noisy, hazardous and chaotic street life. Was a brilliant and educational walking tour.

Really informative tour, guide spoke clearly and had a great grasp of the history and lifestyle of Naples. Be prepared to tip if happy with tour to cover the overheads and a fair return for the guide, though it was not mandatory. Seemingly the price paid through Tripadvisor excludes this. There is also an cash 2E fee to hire headsets, which is invaluable for hearing what's said over the hubbub.

Our guide was really good and knowledgeable and explained all the history of Naples along the way, stopping for 10 minutes to grab a coffee. A fascinating tour, very much recommended to see the old historic part of the town .

Antonela, the guide was the sweetest! Very good English, easy to understand, says the most important facts about the spots and during a hot summer day does her best to have a group in shade and makes sure we stop by a few water taps to stay hydrated. I loved that we learned about history with her but also fun little facts about the town and its people. Plus - the pizza place she recommended - great!

An excellent guide who gave us loads of interesting facts and showed us some hidden gems in the old town.

I did many freetours around europe and the one with Fabrizio was definitely the best I ever had. He had many interesting insights about the things we saw around the historic centre of naples, he gave us suggestions about other things to do and places to visit and overall it was one of the best experiences to have in naples other than the food 😁

We took this tour on Easter Monday. Being Americans we had no idea what this meant in Italy even though I’m Catholic. It was a major holiday. The streets were packed with locals. Many times we were barely able to squeeze through the streets. Our tour guide, I think Giorgio, was fabulous. Plenty of family friendly jokes mixed in with the history of the city. He pointed out many famous buildings and sites from the Greeks, Roman’s and much more current times including street art. The tour was about 3 hours. If you have kids that aren’t interested in history and you aren’t going to bother renting them the audio set for 2€, then don’t go. Your kids playing tag, pushing and shoving are a nuisance. There are plenty of kids who actually do want to listen. Our guide hung around afterwards to answer questions and give restaurant recommendations. Leave a generous tip as this is how he is paid.

Nancy was an excellent guide and made the experience truly enjoyable. She shared a lot of information in a way that was engaging and never overwhelming. When speaking about the culture and traditions of Naples, she pointed out beautiful details that visitors really want to hear, helping us better understand the symbols and stories of the city. She was insightful and caring, making sure everyone felt comfortable and involved throughout the tour. From time to time she also shared some funny little remarks that made the atmosphere lighter and the experience even more enjoyable. We discovered old Naples with Carmen our guide -Free tour in spanish . She is amazing like a guide throughout the free tour. She showed us all the history, its gastronomy, its unique sites, and gave us a closer look at the Neapolitans. We loved the tour. We'll be back

We really enjoyed this walking tour. Giovanni was an excellent guide. He showed us many cool spots and taught us lots of Neapolitan superstitious and stories. He also gave us lots of great food recommendations. We were asked to hire individual radios which were great because we could hear Giovanni very well despite the noisy streets. Just don’t forget to bring 2€ for the hire. And maybe you will be more comfortable if you bring some wired headphones of your own. If not you can use the disposable ones you are given. I have been on many free walking tours and I think this one was my favourite! I would highly recommend it.

Fabrizio was very knowledgeable and the tour was well worth a tip. Alba is Scotland in Gaelic and Fabrizio was interested in the coincidence. Porta Alba was the last stop on the tour.

Great guide, he told us about history, cuisine, archaeology, the Neapolitan character, food, and places to try it. It is clear that he loves his city. He gave us a lot of information and at the same time made us laugh several times. Very charismatic. He extended the tour longer without minding.

Before departure, we evaluated other organizations that, however, asked for significant amounts for a tour of about 2 and a half hours. Fortunately, we chose the proposal from Napul’è Tours for a guided tour of the historic center, and it was an excellent experience. They apply a pay-what-you-wish formula, but I want to emphasize that this does not authorize us to pay modest amounts. The excellent preparation of our guide, Teresa, deserved to be justly compensated. Just as promised: history, art, legends, and folklore were told to us with passion and competence. I recommend booking on their website before departure. Compliments to Teresa and the entire organization.

He explains the history of the city so well and with so much humor that you don't want it to end. Magical experience! Our guide Letizia took the time to explain the history of the city of Naples to us. She gave us the keys to understand the city as it is today. She also gave us little anecdotes and showed us plenty of places that were worth seeing and that we would have missed. As for the price, you give the price that the tour is worth in your opinion. The value for money could therefore not be better ;) It is a very beautiful tour, and a great time. Thank you!
