Discover Scuba Diving is a first diving test, for those who are not certified. The excursion is suitable for everyone, children (from 10 years) and adults. Before your arrival you will be provided with a medical form to assess the need for a medical examination before the dive, and a short e-learning. Before the dive, a theoretical lesson will be held by our instructors, to understand the basics of diving, know the equipment that will be used and know how to behave in the water, so you can enjoy the dive to the fullest. The dive will last about 45 minutes and will take place in the Submerged Park of Baia, where, depending on the site (visit route) that will be visited, you can admire statues, colorful mosaics or black and white mosaics, as well as all the ancient structures of the Roman city of Baia, loved by emperors and senators. Our instructors will stay by your side, holding your hand, for the duration of the activity to provide you with the best possible support. You will discover a new world, that of diving, in complete safety and comfort, surrounded by archaeological wonders and lots of marine life!
I had a fantastic time learning how to dive. The diving instructor, Alessandro, was extremely patient and encouraging when I became nervous during training. I was able to spend 45+ minutes in the water without any issues! I would definitely love come back and do this on a day with clearer water conditions!

We did the discovery dive with Kay and it was fantastic! Kay is funny and very knowledgeable, a great guide and diver and she reassured us throughout the way. The tour is amazing, incredible to see with our own eyes! All the staff were very nice!
Our instructor Kay was just amazing! She explained everything perfectly and was very fun to be around. Also the other instructors as well as the captain were super kind. It felt like we’ve been part of a friend group despite being there only for a short time. Also the kitties were very cute and it was a pleasure to see how good they take care of the cats there.
Diving in the Submerged Archaeological Park of Baia was a fantastic and unique experience. Seeing the ancient structures and mosaics underwater is a must for history lovers. The crew did a fantastic job of explaining everything you need to know about scuba diving, safety, and the historical site in detail. Overall, it's a shallow but fantastic dive, well worth the trip from Naples!

I booked a Discover Sea World for my girlfriend’s birthday, and while there was a mix-up with GetYourGuide (they forgot to send our registration to Sea World), the team at Sea World was absolutely amazing. Despite the hiccup, they went out of their way to accommodate us and managed to squeeze us in for the last dive of the day. The dive itself was surreal—exploring an underwater archaeological site was like stepping into another world. As first-time divers, we felt completely safe and supported. Huge thanks to everyone at Sea World for making the day so special for both of us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
This is our first scuba diving! The undersea world with so many remains is so amazing! Our instructor Andrea is fully experienced and patient diver. My girlfriend was afraid of diving at the first place. She guided us very slowly, helping us get adapted and adjust the gauge very patiently. It was the most important reason that we finally saw the magic world!

A very unique, interesting and worthwhile experience. The mosaics were amazing - great to see these up close. The instructors were brilliant. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel safe for our first ever scuba diving experience. We were late to our slot (completely our fault as still getting used to Italian public transport!) however they were very patient and accommodating. Overall we would 100% recommend for a unique experience!
This was truly an unforgettable diving experience. The center is PADI certified, making it professional and reliable. It's also very easy to reach with direct public transport from Naples. My captain and instructor were incredibly friendly, supportive, and encouraging throughout the entire process. Their teaching was detailed and patient, which helped a lot—even though I felt a bit uncomfortable and unfamiliar at first. Still, it was a wonderful attempt and a memory I’ll always cherish.
The diving experience at Sea World Baia is super super good! ! First of all, the ancient city you see while diving is not available anywhere else. Baia was once the "Las Vegas" of Pompeii. Because it is adjacent to the volcano, it has been famous for its hot springs since the 1st century BC and has become a holiday resort for Roman nobles and royal families. Until the end of the 4th century AD, due to the nearby volcanic activity, the bradisismo caused the coastal villas to slowly sink, the sea level continued to rise, and then it was forgotten by people. It is already very shocking to see the photos, and it is even more scalp-numbing to see it with your own eyes. In the very blue and cold deep sea, there are only the sounds of breathing oxygen and spitting bubbles. Under the water is a sleeping city. The patterns of the floor tiles are vaguely visible, the statues are still very beautiful, there are thin water plants on the surface, and a large group of colorful fish swim around. One of the statues is half broken, with a bowl in his hand. An orange-striped fish swims into the bowl, turns a few circles, and swims out again. The underwater world is really fascinating, quiet and distant, magnificent and magnificent, it is the real "blue tide". It was a big challenge for me to dive deep for the first time. Fortunately, the dive instructor was very professional and nice. After I got ashore, I said that I fell in love with her eyes when I saw her underwater! !
I had an amazing dive with Sea World Baia! We went to the dive site Smoky Reef/ Secca Delle Fumaso which was super cool. They know a lot about the history and are really nice people. I will come back when/if I visit this part of Italy again :)
Had a great dive there at the archeological underwater side of Baia. They have a super friendly, competent, and motivated young team of instructors. If you want to dive at the archeological underwater side at Baia, I highly recommend this school!
Fantastic experience! Michela is a very nice, professional guide, very attentive to our needs and our comfort, simply wonderful. All the staff members were also simply delightful. We went snorkeling at the Villa a Protiro, everything was visible from the surface and very well explained by Michela. Complete and comfortable equipment. What more can I say? Highly recommended!!! We will definitely return!

The first time scuba diving for us, it couldn't have been done better! Didn't regret a minute! After the snorkeling experience, the second great activity with Diving Sea World Baia. Mystical experience. Abysmal creatures, sci-fi underwater views, and a staff so good they probably breathe water. Impeccable equipment, clear briefings, real smiles. Important note: do not pee in the wetsuit. NEVER. Not even if you think you're a shark. Sharks don't do that. Master divas seem to have built-in sonar: they find invisible nudibranchs, ghost wrecks and point everything out to you with the calm of those who have already tamed kraken and currents. In summary? Overtime. Monstrously good. Five stars
Beautiful place, nice staff and very professional. I had the pleasure of diving for the first time with a team that since the initial briefings made me feel comfortable, safe and above all that made this experience unforgettable. Whether you turn to them for diving or snorkeling I highly recommend them, I will definitely be back!

It was a unique experience made unforgettable thanks to Andrea and Alessandro’s passion for this sport. I was introduced gradually, first with theoretical notions about using equipment and what to pay attention to once immersed. Next we headed to the submerged archaeological site. Highly recommended!

At the beginning of April 2025, we enrolled in Sea World Baia in a Discover Scuba Diving program in the submerged Baia Archaeological Park. Everything was perfect from the beginning, both the preparations prior to our arrival in Baia and our stay and diving experience. Alessandro and Andrea did a very professional and friendly job. Unforgettable!
