Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour With Shuttle

We wanted a tour that included the palace and the gardens. This was a perfect length of time. . I recommend taking a tour that Includes a shuttle bus in the because the gardens are immense.. The palace is magnificent, and our guide, Novela, was a wealth of information..

Diana was our guide for today. She was extremely informative and made the three hour tour so enjoyable. We didn’t even noticed the time. We definitely recommend her. Caserta was more than we expected. The scale of the palace was beyond my imagination. A very enjoyable tour.

Alessia is a really good guide, her explanation is really fun, easy to understand (even if i am not history fan) and she has good senses of humour and friendliness. Besides the tour runs smoothly and on time, the garden scenery and the interior are spectacular as well even in rainy weather. I also like that shuttle bus is included, she provides us with earphone so everyone can listen better, the group was small enough (maybe less than 10 people), the tour did not feel awkward and ran with good pace (u can still take photos but still see everything enough). Very recommended tour with her

The Royal Palace of Caserta is magnificent and a stunning example of Italian engineering, art and architecture. Our guide, Alessia, was knowledgeable, funny and made the whole thing experience a highlight of trip. We book the guided tour with shuttle bus which enabled us to see the gardens, which are very far from the castle, but are not to be missed. What a fantastic day!!

The castle was impressive. Alessia our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable it felt like a family get together. I especially loved the gardens and the hidden gems found in the English garden.

I really enjoyed the tour! The Palace is absolutely beautiful, and Alessia, our guide, was wonderful. She is very nice, knowledgeable about the history of Naples, and has a great way of telling the story that makes you feel as if you are actually there, experiencing that moment in history. The only thing to keep in mind is that the Palace is quite far from Naples, and the tour starts at the entrance of the Palace. You’ll need to take a regional train or a taxi to get there. We took a taxi and paid €170, so I would definitely recommend taking the train instead. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend the tour!

Our visit to the Royal Palace of Caserta was wonderful. The instructions in the reservation made it easy to find our guide. She was wonderful and very passionate about the history and grandeur of the palace. It was a hot day, so the crowds were small, but it was still an active atmosphere. I wish we had left more time to wander the gardens at the end of the tour.

Alessia, our guide was super knowledgeable and provided every single detail asked of her. She was fantastic and knew where to take us, including the spectacular gardens. The English garden is a must see! She was very easy to talk to, friendly, and explained in great detail the history and story behind every part of our tour.

Alessia was our guide at this excursion. She was phenomenal! She spoke very clearly and she has a voice that is easy to pay attention to. She was so knowledgeable about everything we were looking at but simultaneously she was able to explain everything in a way that gave words to the thing we were feeling while looking at all the exhibits. This was such an amazing experience and I feel that anyone of any age could definitely enjoy spending time there.

Alessia was an immaculate tour guide. Very knowledgeable, humorous and friendly. It was the best tour I’ve ever had. We went on a tour of the Sistine chapel the following day but this tour with Alessia blew that tour out of the water!

Guided tours are always better when the guide loves the subject matter, and our guide, Alessia, clearly does! She was very knowledgeable about the palace, the centuries of history behind it, and presented that information in a way that made the 3 hours fly by. The pace that she keeps leaves time to both listen to her and snap some pictures while not getting tired from all the walking. If visiting during the height of summer, I recommend booking this tour in the afternoon so that the sun is low for the garden portion.

An impressive place with a knowledgeable and amusing guide, and no crowds! Wear good walking shoes if you intend to walk around the extensive gardens.
