Capri By Land And Sea: Small-group Tour From Naples

Absolutely fabulous tour with Vincenzo. He knew just where to take us and when to maximize our time on Capri. He lived there for many years and knew so much about Capri it made the tour extra special. We went to Anacapri and Capri both were spectacular in their own right. The chairlift was phenomenal and the views! A boat tour around the entire island was included and the vantage points and sites were incredible. Vincenzo was so kind and considerate with everyone. He also made a special video that included our entire tour group as well as sites around the island and air dropped it to everyone. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour with Vincenzo!!

The island is beautiful and we really enjoyed the chairlift to the top of Capri with panaromic views of the island, the garden with more views of the Faragliones, and the boat tour around the island that took us away from the crowds. We saw 3 caves but the Blue Grotto was closed due to rough seas. Too many people was a common comment of all of us even though we knew it would be unbelievably crowded. And there were long waits for the buses that was unexpected.

Great tour... not all activities are included in this cost... cruise ship friendly with advance notice... would do again!!

You can really only see Capri on a guided tour. This is one of the nicest, with ferry tickets, bus and boat trips organised in advance. Michele was an excellent guide who managed to add the Blue Grotto into the schedule when it suddenly opened after being closed for a week. A really fun day on Capri.

The trip was wonderful. Our guides Michele and Tiziana were very well organized and they accommodated our wishes very well. They helped us skip ques and pointed us in right directions. Communication was clear.

After a shaky start, which was nobody's fault, we finally made it onto the ferry at Naples Port, just as it was leaving Loved the hydrofoil journey to Capri Stepped onto the bus to start a tour of the Island Our first stop was the Blue Grotto, which was not what we intended to do, as I had a hip injury & my friend has trouble climbing stairs People in our group were very helpful & helped my friend to concur the very steep steps both ways We both made it onto the boat, just as a big wave came over our feet and got a little wet really don't know how we did it, but our guide was full of encouragement It was very scary for a while, as the boat was very rocky, You have to lay on the floor when entering the grotto, which I was a bit scared off, once inside the grotto, Wow,Wow,Wow The blue lighting was really stunning, & music playing Everybody must do this, as it is a very unique experience Once back on the bus we travelled to the cable chair, which we intended doing, but were unable to carry on with the trip as both of us, were totally drained with the heat, so decided to forgo the rest of the trip Spoke with our guide Tiziana, & asked if she could get us a taxi & catch an earlier ferry back to Naples What a fantastic lady she was, she arranged a bus to the ferry, & also changed our ferry tickets to an earlier time, at no extra cost, she went over & beyond to help us A big thank you Tiziana for everything you did for us Glynis & Beryl

A wonderful day in Capri. Such a quick trip and really should have been longer but Michele makes it happen. He tells you exactly what your options and priorities are to make the most of your time. Great personality and companion for the day. So happy we chose this option.

Fast paced. Not recommended for those prone to vertigo. Absolutely gorgeous island. Be sure to avoid June July, and August as the crowds and heat would distract from the beauty. Recommend the chairlift for gorgeous views amazing island

If doing the excursion from a cruise ship, do not gather outside the port with the other travelers. The meeting spot is a few blocks away at the ferry port.

Paola was very knowledgeable, gave clear information on times to meet and kept us ahead in all the boarding lines. We really enjoyed her knowledge and personality!

It was a nice trip and Michele our guide was amazing. Capri was very busy with lots of people. We were fortunate enough because of Michele to be able to do the chair lift. But very busy.

Michele was a fantastic guide! This was a small group of about 20. He did a fantastic job of asking individual opinions, giving clear directions, and suggestions on how to make sure our experience was the best it could be. He got us into the Blue Grotto first thing. It was very obvious that he was well respected on the island and collaborated very well with the other tour guides to divide and conquer the crowds efficiently. Thankful

A good tour of Capri. Island was very crowded. Since weather closed Blue Grotto, tour circled the whole island which was a good plan B. Would have been better to do the land portion first and then the boat tour. This would have missed the worst of the crowds and been a nice break from the afternoon heat. Guide Anna Maria was very nice and liked after the group well.

The BEST tour so far on our cruise. Alberto was absolutely incredible - knowledgeable , funny and he can SING!!! The blue caves were incredible, we had great food and shopping in Ana Capri (could have spent a lot more time shopping), and then we had a lovely boat tour around the coast of Capri, with a little time to grab gelato before we headed back to our cruise ship. Cannot say enough great things about Alberto and the tour in general. We will definitely be back to this beautiful island!

Michaele had this tip down to a science. He knew how to time things, move things to adjust to crowds and kept us moving at just the right pace to make the most out of our day. We cruised into Naples and decided Capri for the day was our destination and he really helped make that happen. Starting at Anacapri was awesome and less crowded and his lunch recommendation was magnificent! We had a very hot day and he made sure our ferry back was the newer AC type and we were grateful,

We had a wonderful day in Capri! Got to see the main sites and Michele was a fantastic guide providing a wealth of knowledge and great recommendations. We enjoyed the chair lift up to the top and the boat ride around the island. Had a fantastic meal at a recommended restaurant overlooking the sea! Our friends also found a limonchello place - the Blue Lizard -in Anacapri which provided our drinks in huge lemons! Just so fun! My only issue with the day was the trip did not include Blue Grotto - we were offered to do this day of for an additional charge. We opted not to which is our choice, however they put two tour groups together - one that apparently had the Blue Grotto included and because of the time of year (nothing was open around there) we essentially had to wait around with nothing to do for an hour. Versus potentially dropping us off at one of the near by towns to do more exploring. The other group hadn't paid for the Boat Trip around the island and were offered an additional hour in the town Capri as the day lent itself to this. Again, minor just something for future guests to note. Keep in mind as well, if it is raining they will cancel the trip as there is nothing to do on Capri when it rains. Again, all in all. It was a wonderful way to spend a day away from Napoli!

Check in was easy, Georgio was an excellent guide. He was entertaining, enthusiastic and very informative about his island as he is a local. The Isle of Capri is beautiful, the Blue Grotto is a must see and the entire experience was well worth the money we paid.

Loved our tour with Serena! She’s so attentive with everyone and very engaging with her commentary. I loved the whole tour to Capri. The island is beautiful, we wish we had more time to explore Capri but it was enough to see the most beautiful parts of it. 10/10 would take this tour again with Serena. If you can do the chair lift, please do it! It’s the most peaceful and beautiful part of it!!

Alberto was our guide for the day - he is INCREDIBLE!! This was by far the best excursion we have been on. We were met at the Port by Alberto and travelled by Ferry to the Isle of Capri. Once there we travelled by minibus along the MamaMia Road and visited the blue cave - spectacular! We had time for lunch in AnaCapri and then had a fantastic private (12 people) boat ride around the island. The scenery was absolutely spectacular and Alberto's commentary was spot on, informative and had us in fits of laughter. All this in 1 day and of course Alberto made sure we arrived back at the Port in plenty of time to return to our ship. Thankyou Alberto for a wonderful, amazing and breathtakingly beautiful day. We just finished a cruise where the first stop was in Naples, Italy. Our excursion started by trying to find the right Tour at the Snack Bar at the Port in Naples. Once located, we received our ferry tickets and were on the first ferry out for the morning. The tour guide explained that the Blue Grotto was open but we did not pay for the Blue Grotto Tour. She recommended we go since it's only open 200 days out of the year. We agreed and waited in a long line unsure of what was going on. However, once we got closer and saw why we were waiting, the opening is so small that when the wake of the passing boats rises it's impassable, we understood the need for patience. After paying 36€ for the Blue Grotto tickets we were very pleasantly surprised and even got a serenade from our rowboat captain! Next we went to lunch in Anacapri and were lucky enough to find Il Sandalo Caprese next to the restaurant where my daughter got custom sandals made before making it back to the bus. Then we went to Capri for amazing views and the best Gelato ever! They made the waffle cones right there and they were still hot while you were holding them - check them out at IG and FB @gelateriabuonocorecapri Then it was on to the Boat Tour around the entire island, which is what we thought we had signed up for in the first place. We were able to see additional grottos and the Faraglioni Rocks. This was an amazing way to see a lot of the island in a condensed amount of time. Our tour guide, Alessandra, was great and when she was rounding us all together, she always called us Familia.

This was the perfect time, I only wish it could have been longer. It was so nice to be in a small group, we had plenty of space, the food and drinks were delicious, and the crew was fantastic. I couldn't have been more happier.

We had a splendid day exploring Capri with the excellent guide Michele. This tour comes highly recommended. Our group of 6 included individuals of different ages. Despite missing the opportunity to visit the Blue Grotto, Capri offered a plethora of breathtaking sights and delightful experiences. Capri is truly stunning! I was left speechless during the boat tour, surrounded by its breathtaking beauty. The locals were incredibly warm and friendly, making the experience even more memorable. I'm already yearning to return, perhaps even reliving the same tour with Michele.

Despite visiting Capri in December, our time there with our guide, Marcella, was nothing short of amazing. Although the Blue Grotto was closed due to weather conditions, the highlight of our tour turned out to be a beautiful boat ride around the island. We also found the Augustus Gardens to be absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for orchestrating such a lovely day.

Giorgio was an excellent guide, and he is actually a local from Capri. We had an incredible day with him. We were fortunate that the weather was good on the day of the tour, especially given a week full of rain. If you're in Naples and looking to explore Capri for a day, this is the tour you should consider.

Viator helped us sign up for this tour when another tour we were booked on cancelled the day before. I was so happy they did! Alberto showed us a wonderful time and had a good balance between guided tour and free time. He was extremely personable and even sang on the boat ride around the island. We were not able to go into the blue grotto due to sea conditions, but did get to go around the island to see the rock formations and even went through one of them.. Word of warning, the hydrofoil boat trip to Capri was very rough and sea sick bags were passed around. Capri was beautiful, but very expensive. Save any purchases until you get to Anicapri.

This tour was extraordinary! We requested an additional transfer from our hotel in Sorrento to the meeting point at the Sorrento port, and the driver was very kind. Marcella, our guide, was excellent and very organized. If you want to visit Capri, don't hesitate to book this tour; we had a wonderful day.

We were so lucky to get on this tour. It was smaller & more intimate than the others we saw which we really liked. Our tour guide Roberto took every extra effort to make sure we were getting the best experience. He quickly responded to our messages morning of the tour as well. The boat tour portion around the island & faraglioni rocks exceeded what we could’ve imagined. 10/10 must do. We also enjoyed the company of other passengers on the tour. Everyone was very helpful.

Visiting Capri was unforgettable! The tour was wonderful, everything went really well, both the cities and the boat trip. However, the highlight was the guide Alberto who made everything incredible... and even with a unique soundtrack!! I highly recommend it!!
