Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were unable to enter the Blue Grotto cave due to the high winds but had a great time anyway. Our tour guide Noemi was a joy. She was knowledgeable, funny and provided my family a great day in Capri. Thank you Noemi

Your private guide will meet you directly at the port of Naples or Sorrento. After a warm welcome, your journey begins with a smooth transfer to the ferry terminal. Enjoy the scenic ride as you embark on a fast ferry to Capri, soaking in stunning views of the Bay of Naples.
The ferry ride to Capri is a scenic and relaxing journey. As you approach the island, enjoy panoramic views of the sparkling Mediterranean and the cliffs of Capri. This is the perfect opportunity for photos as you sail past the beautiful coastline.
Upon arrival on Capri, weather permitting, visit the Blue Grotto, one of the island’s most famous natural wonders. You’ll take a small boat to enter the cavern and experience the mesmerizing blue light inside. If the Blue Grotto is closed due to weather conditions, enjoy a shared boat ride around the island, where you’ll see the island's other stunning grottos and the magnificent Faraglioni Rocks, which rise dramatically from the sea.
After your boat adventure, head to Anacapri, the quieter and less touristy part of the island, located on the slopes of Mount Solaro. Here, you’ll find charming streets filled with local shops, cafes, and a more relaxed atmosphere. Take time to wander and explore, enjoying the peaceful vibe of this
From Anacapri, you can take the chairlift to Monte Solaro, the highest point on the island. Enjoy a thrilling ride and breathtaking views of Capri, the surrounding islands, and the Amalfi Coast. Alternatively, you can visit Villa San Michele, a historic villa built by Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe. The villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offers sweeping views of the island and the Mediterranean Sea.
Head to Capri’s main town, a bustling and elegant area known for its lively square, "La Piazzetta." This famous piazza is a hub of activity and a favorite meeting place for both locals and visitors. Here, you can browse the luxury boutiques, sip a coffee at one of the cafes, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this charming town.
A short walk from Capri Town, the Augustus Gardens offer one of the most iconic views of the island. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and offer panoramic views of the Faraglioni Rocks, the coast of Capri, and the deep blue sea below. This is the perfect spot for taking in the natural beauty and capturing some unforgettable photos.
After a full day of exploration, your guide will escort you back to the ferry terminal. Relax and reflect on your day as you take the ferry back to either Naples or Sorrento. Upon arrival, your private driver will be there to take you back to your accommodation, completing your unforgettable day on Capri.

16 adults. Private tour from Sorrento to Capri. Tour guide was Georgio. He was amazing. Raphael tours bad at least 4 or 5 different tours that day in Capri. The tour guides all helped and looked out for each other throughout the day. A really well oiled machine. A shout out to Marcella and Luigi - 2 other guides from Raphael. All amazing. Highly recommend this company and these guides for a great all day tour. Great balance of guiding and providing some free time.
This was one of our favorite tours of the trip. Vincenzo was the best - he was able to take us up the chair lift and through the local side of the island early before the crowds came in. He was also able to recommend the best lunch spot where we had local cuisine that ended up being our favorite spot of the trip. And importantly he got us back to our cruise ship in perfect timing. This tour is a must do and consider yourself lucky if you get Vincenzo to lead the way!
I enjoyed my tour today. Theresa was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and she take really great pics 😊😊. She did an amazing job today
We had a fantastic tour of Capri with our guide, Vincenzo! He really tailored our tour for us. We had time constraints due to our cruise ship only being in port for a certain amount of hours. We also had grandparents with us who are not super mobile. Vincenzo went out of his way to make it a wonderful tour for everyone. We had so much fun! Highly recommend this tour!
Great experience! We met with Stephanie for this tour and she was very knowledgeable and accommodating during the tour. We happened to visit during a storm but she was able to find alternative activities on the island. Would recommend!
What an amazing experience! Our guide, Vincenzo, was so attentive and knowledgeable. Capri and the Blue Grotto are places that must be experienced once in a lifetime. The crowds can be large, so being part of a small group tour with a great guide is the way to go. Thank you, Vincenzo, for making this such an extraordinary experience for the three of us!
Stephanie our guide was wonderful , she guided us through the crowds to get us quickly through to the Blue Grotto as to not waste a large portion of our visit . Suggested a wonderful place for lunch overlooking the sea. Kept the day interesting with her own experiences and historical stories. It a great day on the Isle of Capri.
We had Mariano for our guide and we can’t say enough great things about him. I will preface by saying we had a private tour scheduled. From the minute we met Mariano he had our day planned perfectly. There was a taxi waiting for us as soon as we got off the ferry. We were lucky because the Blue Grotto was open and by having the taxi waiting we were some of the first people to arrive and get to tour it. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for lunch and snacks. We got to se all the highlights of both Anacapri and Capri. We had so much fun and we were all happily exhausted when we returned to Sorrento! Thank you for a very memorable day!
Well organized trip lead by exxellent tour Leader.. very recommended. Blue Grotto is a very unique experience, while Anacapri and Capri area is a must see object
Felt like we had Capri to ourselves. Our guide Miguel was friendly, informative and knew Capri like the back of his hand. He took us to the main spots on the island, and since the weather didn't allow for us to go on the chair lifts or Blue Grotto, he took us to Axel Munthe's villa instead, and then recommended the best spot on the boat that went round the island. Also took us to a good restaurant with the best fresh food.
This was a wonderful tour, made perfect by our guide, Giorgio. His love for his home, Capri, was infectious. He went out of his way to give us the best experience. He met us in Sorrento and guided us down to the ferries. We were met on Capri by a driver with an open air convertible who whisked us along the Mama Mia road to Anacapri. We rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain and Giorgio gave us I formation and anecdotes. The blue grotto was closed because of rough seas, so he took us on a boat ride around the island -- much better experience in my mind. We did much more before we finally took the boat home.
We had a magical time in Capri. Our tour guide Brunella was exceptional. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you !!
Take the private tour--it's worth it. We had our own open air vehicle and driver and guide which allowed us freedom to spend our time as we preferred, plus was fun. Guide Cristina was outstanding in comminicating, informing us of history, insuring we were being handled safely at Blue Grotto, and esp hearing what our preferences were. Ask for Cristina.
We booked our trip in the last minute, but everything went smooth. Marco was amazing and very informative. We enjoyed every bit of the trip.
This day trip was an absolute highlight of our time in Sorrento. Very organised, amazing day! The blue grotto was exhilarating and we had such a good guide that we got there by land (secret skip the cue) then off to Annacapri which was breathtaking. No time was wasted the day went very fast and we saw everything. A absolute must to do!!!
Great tour, our guide Anna Maria was amazing. She is local and maneuvered us through the island super efficiently. She managed to keep us ahead of the crowds. Saw more than we could have imagined, loved it! Thanks!
Our family had a terrific day in Capri! Ben was a wonderful tour guide and we felt lucky to see as much as we did in one day. Capri is beautiful and our Sky Ride and Boat Ride were some of the high points of our entire vacation. Ben had us organized and safely maneuvered our family of six throughout the entire day. My family was so proud I booked such an awesome tour for them! Our memories and pictures are treasures! We would highly recommend this tour!
This was the perfect way for our family of four to see Capri, Blue Grotto and Anacapri all in one day! Our tour guide Luigi was fantastic! He had everything timed perfectly so we could cover as much ground as possible! He was very knowledgeable of the area and made great recommendations for restaurants and shopping. He was flexible and very attentive to our family to make sure we got what we wanted out of the day. We would highly recommend this tour and because we were not part of a big group, I believe we maximized our time for that day . We would definitely do this tour again, well worth the money.
My husband and I were meeting his sister and parents in Naples for 3 days over Thanksgiving and I was put in charge of arranging tours. Even though this one was quite pricey, I booked it anyway as Capri was on all of our bucket lists and it had very good reviews. We were not disappointed! Michael was a very efficient, friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable tour guide. Due to less than stellar weather the night before, the ferry ride was a bit choppy and the blue grotto was closed. Nevertheless, we got a wonderful boat tour around the island, a convertible taxi ride up the winding roads, a lovely chairlift to the top point of the island for a 360 degree view, a nice lunch, a lovely walking tour of the main town, and a funicular ride back to the ferry. We packed a lot in but never felt rushed. Seeing Capri in the off-season was wonderful. The streets were not particularly crowded, the temperature was mild, and it was absolutely stunning. My father-in-law said it may have been the best tour he had ever been on (and he's been on a lot!)
This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide Fabrizio was outstanding and very knowledgable of the island. He was promptly waiting for us at the port and quickly got us on our way! We toured the island in a convertible car and had the best sites. Rode the chairlift to the top of Ana Capris and saw breathtaking views up top. A must see! The blue grotto was closed so we toured the island in a boat and got to see a lot of the Caves along the way. Definitely worth the money and the guide was very accommodating and pleasant to be with. We had a blast!

We had a fantastic time with Luigi on our private boat tour with him. We met him at the Serrento port and he took care of us each step of the way - getting us tickets, telling us where to wait, getting us to the front of the line, treating us to the chair lift. Introducing us to local store owners with special discounts. If I had any complaints, it would be that we really didn't have enough time on Capri and also the weather didn't cooperate with us seeing the blue grotto. We were able to go on a boat cruise around Capri which was also very beautiful. Luigi escorted us but also left us to our own at different place allowing us to do our own things. This is definitely a worthwhile tour.

This was an amazing private tour. Marchela our guide was fantastic. She took us to all the top places to visit on the island including the Blue Grotto. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great experience although the weather did not cooperate and were unable to access the grotto. Great tour guide and nice boating alternative provided.

We met Luigi early in the morning outside Hotel I'll Faro in Sorrento. He had us remain at a certain spot on the pier as we waited for the other members of our tour. He had already bought our tickets and had us ready to go onto the next ferry to Capri. The first stop was the Blue grotto (we were fortunate that it was open) where we boarded small boats to get inside. It was very dark, but were able to take photos of the famous blue water. Next was Anacapri ,the views from the island were spectacular. The villas perched alongside the cliffs are absolutely breathtaking. We got to Anacapri, there is a chair lift that will take you to the top of the island. Luigi had bought our tickets. Because we were there so early, there were no lines. In about 15 minutes we reached the top. We were able to see some of the neighboring islands, the Bay of Naples, the Gulf of Salerno and Sorrento. Upon our return, we saw why Luigi wanted us to go when we did. The line to go on the chair lifts had already grown into a 20-30 minute wait. Luigi gathered us as we walked down a beautiful tree-lined sidewalk for lunch. After an hour, as we were leaving the restaurant, there was another line to get into it. Luigi really planned this out well for us. He then gave us a tour of Anacapri, as we walked by designer shops, had a free sampling of limoncello, saw the store where you could order designer sandals, that they could make for you in about 45 minutes. We then walked to a viewpoint where the old Greek steps could take you down to the waters edge in about 2 hours of descending, but it was closed off due to recent rocks falling. We then boarded a van and drove down to the town of Capri. Luigi walked us through the busy areas and took us to a less popular area and recommended that we tour the nearby gardens. We then had about 35 minutes to return to the center of town. We were then handed tickets to take a hillside funicular down to the harbor. We had some free time before we boarded the ferry and returned to Sorrento. All in all it was a great day. Capri has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Luigis ability to get us positioned where we needed to be, saved us about two hours of wait time during the day, to make everything we were hoping to do possible. He was excellent.

Our Naples private tour with Paolo was amazing!! Paolo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense
of humour. It felt like we were friends for years. Paolo was very friendly and connected well to both the adults and our kids.
I would highly recommend Paolo. Taking a private tour through Capri was the best thing we could have done. Paolo was
very organized and precise with timing. The only way to see all of Capri is through a tour. Paolo was well connected to the
people there which made moving around a lot easier. We will never forget our time spent in Capri!!

It's a nice tour!
The tour guide was amazing, she knows her job and tried to arrange the best for us! ( forgot her name tho)
If you got only 1 day to visit the island and don't wanna spend time to buy tickets or looking for transportation at the last minute, it's a good choice to join this tour!

Our family of four took this tour on 29 June, and our tour guide was Giovanni Johnny. He met us at the Sorrento harbor and guided us onto the boat to Capri. Because the blue grotto was closed that day he got us on to the ski lift to the top of Capri at no extra charge. He knew many interesting facts about Capri and he helped us with photos and was able to give us free time for lunch and to explore a little on our own. The weather was great that day and Capri was beautiful. Giovanni was an excellent guide and we were very lucky to have him.

Vinchencio was amazing!Great energy, professional and very knowledgeable. Weather didn't allow us to see the Blue Grotto but 4 of us took a boat ride around the island and saw the Green Grotto.Got a refund for the other two. This is my 2nd tour with Rafael Tours. I would book again. They were great!

Our guide Luigi was extremely knowledgeable and was able to arrange our day so we avoided most of the crowds. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We especially enjoyed the restaurant Luigi recommended for lunch. It was very authentic with beautiful views and delicious recipes made with local ingredients, many grown right on the restaurant grounds. I also loved being able to take home carthusia perfume and custom made capri sandals made on the island. It was a very special day.

The tour was very nice but we basically booked it so that we could see the Blue Grotto. We didn't realize that it was so subject to weather. Unfortunately we were unable to see it. Viator did the right thing and gave us a discount. Thank you.

Visited Capri yesterday and had a wonderful time. Saw the blue grotto, amazing sites including Mama Mia road and Augustus Gardens. Really enjoyed ice cream and freshly made waffle. Shops were great and the guide was excellent, the restaurant was really friendly and had super food. Really enjoyed everything being organised for us which made the day really pleasant. Weather was cool and we did not get up chair lift due to clouds. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone.

This excursion was amazing in every way. Our tour guide, Michael, was so professional, personable, informative and made our day memorable. From all of the information that he shared to getting us ahead of the crowd, being able to by pass lines, visiting family owned restaurant, etc., he made this trip more than awesome!!!

We spent a super nice day in Capri, the guide Giorgio was very attentive!!!! and he made our visit to the island very pleasant. A highly recommended tour.
Es war ein herrlicher Tag, alles bestens organisiert. Sehr netter Guide und Fahrer, kann es weiterempfehlen
Tickets at the entrance are 14 euros. The main thing is to lie down in the boat so you don't hit your head, in the very grotto is wonderfully colored water and great acoustics
