Nice evening and we were lucky enough to have it turn out to be a private session as we booked in the low season. Everything about the event was well done. We were able to make the dough and learn from a master pizza maker. Fun for all.

We were lucky to have a private class and enjoyed every minute of the experience. From understanding the ingredients, the process, the background and the heritage of the pizza we learned a lot! Not only did we learn a lot we ate a lot!! The pizza was so good and the surprise dessert over the top!!
We really enjoyed our pizza making class with Lucia. It was a lot of fun and our pizzas were delicious! She shared the recipe with us, we definitely want to make it again!
Our pizza-making class with Francesca and Maurizio was absolutely unforgettable! Francesca was a wonderful host — welcoming, organized, and full of local insights — while Maurizio, our pizzaiolo, was a true master of his craft. He guided us step-by-step through the process of making authentic Neapolitan pizza, from mixing the dough to shaping it and baking it to perfection. We loved how hands-on and interactive the class was, and how both Francesca and Maurizio made it fun, relaxed, and full of laughter. We learned so much about the traditions behind Naples’ most famous dish, and of course, eating our own creations at the end was the best reward! We also had a yummy dessert at the end. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Naples — it’s a perfect mix of culture, cooking, and delicious fun.
Erika was an excellent hostess for the class. The pizzaiolo was an excellent teacher. The pizas were delicious.
Class was fun, instructor and facilitator were kind and helpful. Pizza was amazing and they explained every step of the process as well as other things we could do with the dough.
Our tour consisted of my wife and our two great friends - all over the age of 65. Our host’s English was very good and she took the time to make sure everyone understood her. All four of us had a great time making our pizzas. There was a lot of laughing and kidding on who was making the best pizza.
Lots of fun!! Very informative and I feel confident in recreating our pizza when we get home. It was awesome being able to cook in a real pizzeria!!
We arrived at the restaurant early/told them we had the class, but offered to sit outside/no drinks (we waited/drank at a location across the street). Riccardo was ~15 mins late, but did give notification via WhatsApp. Initially we were a lit perturbed, but all changed upon meeting him - super nice, informative, helpful. It was a bit awkward at first making the dough in the middle of the restaurant, but that passed as we mixed, kneaded, folded, wrapped the dough; our daughter loved it! Frederico, The pizza man, showed us as Riccardo explained; he even made our daughter's pizza into a heart. The best part was by far eating our pizzas, drinking wine & having homemade tiramisu! I highly recommend!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lucia and Vincenzo making pizza. We had a private class, learning how to make the dough, the pizza and got a great lesson on buffalo mozzarella vs mozzarella made from cows milk. We enjoyed a glass of wine with our delicious pizza and ended it w fried pizza dough drizzled with chocolate and powdered sugar.
Lucia was amazing. Pizza was amazing. She was so patient and kind. The pizza is the best you’ve ever had. Lucia walks you through every step from making the dough, topping the pizza, making it in the Woodfire pizza oven. MUST DO, if you’re in Naples. About a 20 minute taxi ride from the cruise court. Perfect for a laid-back excursion from the main cruise port either on ROYAL Caribbean or Disney. Starts at noon and includes wine, beer, and pizza. Perfect for all ages, kids included. SO FUN!!
Lucia explained every step of the pizza making process in detail. She was so nice and knowledgeable. We had a surprise treat at the end with limoncello! I would do it again!
Francesca was amazing as a host. She talked through each ingredient and why the technique was important to the quality of the pizza. Mauricio demonstrated each step for us to follow. Best pizza we have had in Italy so far. Will definitely recommend this to anyone I know traveling to Naples.
Very engaging class with a personable and knowledgeable host. We had a great time making the pizza - and then a great time eating them. Would totally recommend this to a friend.
Great time with friends, and learn about neopolitan pizza. Excellent time with pizza maker. Thank you to the guide, Lucia!
A lot of fun for the whole family. Enjoyed the whole experience from making the dough to getting a lesson on using the pizza peel to rotate the pizza in the oven. Grateful that they shared the dough recipe. Parking was a bit tough!
We really enjoyed our lesson with Francesca and Maurizio. Francesca is very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to spend time with her. Maurizio was very kind and showed us how to make and roll the dough. We then completed two pizzas with Margarita toppings. We enjoyed them as well as fried pizza with a glass of wine. We can recommend this class as a fun and informative way to spend a few hours particularly in our case on a rainy day. We will definitely be making proper pizza at home from now on.
Great pizza class with a great chef, they do explain everything, give you the recipe after, everything is great and informative
What a great afternoon experience we had. Thanks to Francesca our great host that did her very best to provide us with an insightful and charming course on the history of Napoletan pizza and the skilful hands of both pizza master chefs that showed us the secrets of making the best pizza in the world, we have had a splendid time. The pizza we prepared was amazing and the full package with the drinks and the pizza fritta included made this whole experience worthwhile. Thanks to Francesca and Otto Sapori Pizzeria for having us and making us feel most welcome.
Nice pizza course. The master pizza maker didn't let us do what we wanted, but carefully watched us do it our way. Totally satisfied and recommend.
We were 30 minutes late for initial class due to heavy traffic. Missed pizza dough making part when we arrived. The host was so helpful and shifted our class on the following day as we want to enjoy the whole experience from the beginning. Chef do not speak English. However, host explained everything very clearly. We learn so much from this class of making authentic Naples pizza including the history. Chef and host is extremely friendly and hospitable. I am confident to recommend this pizza making class for anyone.
This pizza making class was fantastic! Our instructor Francesca gave us the history of Neapolitan pizza and walked us through the dough making process step by step. The head pizzaiolo showed us dough kneading and stretching techniques. After the dough was made we moved into the kitchen where we made our Margherita pizzas and cooked them in the traditional wood fire oven. After we ate the pizza's we made we were offered a fried pizza as well which was phenomenal. Can't recommend this class enough!
Lucia was our host; Alexandro was our chef. Both were absolutely exceptional and I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn how to make authentic italian pizza in a relaxed, fun and engaging class. Thank you for an amazing experience!
A great experience that should not be missed. The hosts were very informative of the history and process of Neapolitan pizza. We made the dough , added the toppings and cooked the pizza. Chef also cooked us an alternative pizza which was delicious.
Everyone involved in the experience was warm and friendly. We were the only ones at the pizza class mostly because we travel during the off season. Our pizza was wonderful and we plan on making it again at home, I even ordered a pizza stone.
Lucia was our hostess and very personable. Luigi was our chef and he was loads of fun to work with. We had a blast with them both and would definitely recommend this activity for a fine night in Napoli.
This was one of the best experiences in the entire trip to Italy. So much fun and great information.
Lovely experience in an award winning pizzeria. Learned what we needed to know to make them at home and tons of fun in the process. Pizza was delicious and nice to have a little wine and limoncello in the process. All in all a great way to spend 2 hours. Very cool neighborhood as well.
The whole experience was very memorable. I made my crust too thin in the center and thicker on the outsides, my partner somehow accidentally made hers square. The chef Maricio helped us fix our mistakes before showing us the perfect proportions for a delicious Margherita pizza!
Whatever you do….. DO NOT GO TO NAPLES without taking this Pizza Making Class! IT IS OUTSTANDING!!! The class instructors/restaurant owners teach the class with so much energy and enthusiasm! We learned pizza history, new recipes, and 1-on-1 instruction to get the softest and most pillowy dough plus, the best tasting, sauce that requires a special type of tomato! You might think you know how to makyiołoe a pizza: but after 20 minutes you’ll be using a tried and true recipe that’s hundreds of years old whilst getting hands-on instruction from Naples’ BEST pizza maker! Seeing him in action is amazing and getting tips and tricks from him is something you’ll cherish because you will not get this instruction anywhere else in the world!!! When it’s time to cook your pizza, the real excitement begins and you have to see it to believe it!! In minutes you have your pizza in hand and are headed to the table to eat dinner you made with your new friends and classmates! My only regret, is not being able to take some of my pizza to go! Hahaha The proof I made a real Margarita Pizza in the home of the OG pizza will have to be seen in photos!
What a wonderful evening! It was truly a hands on learning experience about the art of making margherita pizza! Our tour guide and everyone in the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend!
It was fabulous and the pizza was the best thing I ever tasted!!!! Definitely take the time to do this and take home the recipe for some of the magic that is Italy
I have never signed up for a class like this, but we are very glad that we did. Francesca and the rest of the team were all very helpful and welcoming. There were participants of all cooking levels and they worked with each at their level. Not only did they show us how to make the pizza, but gave some history behind it as well. Most importantly, it tasted amazing!
We loved this experience while in Naples. And it really upped our pizza game. Well organized, informative, and the guide/chef are really friendly. We were hesitant due to the cost, but in hindsight would do it again.
When I was booking this tour I was a bit skeptic because of the price but It was a wonderful experience! You can't appreciate it well in the pictures but the class is in a beautiful restaurant. The class is step by step and well explained. You'll learn a little bit of history and how to prepare your dough. Afterwards you'll go to the kitchen to prepare your pizza and put it on the oven. Then you'll enjoy your pizza and they also gave us a taste of a second pizza called Pizza Fritta with a wine or a beer. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!
It was a really nice, educational and recommendable evening. From making to eating, everything was there that you wanted. You got very precise information about ingredients (where they came from, why you shouldn't use buffalo mozzarella, etc.), technical data up to the technique itself (kneading, pulling, portioning and stretching). The pizza master is a magician (also has a lot of experience) and our translator Lucia has translated everything, told us again exactly what to look out for and answered every question you had. I was able to take a lot from the course and the subsequent meal also gave the whole thing a round and relaxed conclusion. It is highly recommended!
Wonderful experience!!! Pizza course very fun and above all instructive thanks to Francesca and Gennaro nice and helpful. We were also lucky enough to share the experience with a nice American couple. It was like a dinner with friends. Thank you.
They're quick, but then they let you eat quietly. Pizza dough very well made, good taste and quality price. I'm sure you know who I'm giving if I tell you Merry Crthimas in February.
C’était super. Vraiment contents. L’équipe est très gentille et on apprend vraiment à faire une pizza dans la règle de l’art du début à la fin.
It was an exceptionally great evening! Due to the covid we were only two and could do a “private course”. Lucia was not only very competent but also extremely friendly and explained everything to us very accurately and patiently! Very very exciting and beautiful course!
