Amalfi Coast Tour: Ravello+amalfi+positano (Best Seller Full Day)

We had an incredible day exploring Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano with our private driver, Manuel. He did an excellent job navigating the Amalfi Coast and staying ahead of the large crowds, which helped us enjoy each stop. Along the way, he shared what we were seeing, pointed us toward great places to find memorable souvenirs, and showed us a few hidden gems. Manuel gave us several lunch options, and we chose the farm-to-table restaurant Zio Sam’s. It was phenomenal! He even sang to us during the drive, which made the day that much more fun. Manuel was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and a joy to spend the day with. We highly recommend this tour!

Such a beautiful tour and a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. Booking the tour was very easy through our travel agent but they offer direct bookings as well. Manuel communicated easily in English, arrived early to pick us up from our hotel and knew all of the best places to visit. Seeing Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - learning their history and engaging with their residents made the tour so worth it. We would use them again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Luca was our guide, who became part of our family by the end of the day. Our day started with Luca greeting us just outside of the gates of our cruise port. 8 of us (4 adults, and 4 younger adults ages 14, 15, 18, and 20) hopped in the comfortable van to begin our journey. One thing that’s worth mentioning - the roads of the Amalfi coast aren’t for the faint hearted- the back and forth required us to make an unscheduled stop just before we got to Ravello. Luca was amazing though, always positive and helpful. He quickly pulled to the side of the road and we made an unexpected (but appreciated) stop at a limoncello maker. While the one person was recovering, the rest of us were tasing and buying limoncello, melloncello, maybe even a pistachio flavored one as well?? We hopped back into the van and continued our journey into Ravello. We were able to wander around town, visit some amazing shops, and just take in the whole quiet little peaceful town. We then made our way to Amalfi - we got to take in the fresh sea air, meander around the town, grab some lemon ice in a giant lemon, eat some pastries from the local pasty shop, grab some fresh olive oil, and take at least 3000 photos. When booking we asked to customize our day a little bit by adding the Emerald Grotto as a stop. They graciously added it to our itinerary, and were happy to have experienced it. Next we drove through Positano and stopped for some amazing photo opportunities, more fresh air, and the opportunity to just take it all in. Finally we went to the farm to table meal…. This was nothing short of epic. We sat down and the food and drinks just started to arrive… fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, bread, wine, salads, pasta, limoncello, desserts…. It was all amazing and perfect. My least favorite part of the day was when it was over… we not only had to leave this amazing place in the world but we also had to leave behind Luca. We’ve already recommended this tour to friends and other family members… and, if I’m being honest - we were on an 11-day cruise and this tour was, by far, our absolutely favorite. My daughter (the one that experienced the motion sickness) said she’d go through it all again because every second of the day was worth it. Thank you for the lasting memories that make us smile every time we relive them!

BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!! Our tour guide Manuelito was entertaining, funny, knowledgeable and went way beyond by getting us tickets to Pompeii which was not scheduled on our excursion. He made reservations for us at Da Constantine restaurant. WE WILL BE BACK!!

Fantastic tour!Carmine and Luca were great from start to finish. We only had one day on the Amalfi coast, but Carmine ensured that we had a fun packed time. He was waiting at the port side when we disembarked our cruise ship, and ensured that we were back in plenty of time before the ship left port. Luca drove us through villages that are off the 'tourist route' and Carmine kept us entertained with plenty of stories en route. Ravello, Amalfi and Positano are beautiful. A day to remember, thank you!

Marco was an amazing driver and guide. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He arrived in time and was very accommodating. The tour itself was an amazing and once in a lifetime experience. Marco also is very well known with the locals and suggested lunch at Zio Sam’s. The food was also excellent. Giuseppe was the perfect guide to show us the Amalfi Coast! It was beyond breathtaking! Taking this day trip in December led to no crowds and beautiful weather. We also had an amazing lunch in Amalfi.

Martina, our tour guide, was exceptional! Very knowledgeable, flexible and fun to hangout with for a full day adventure. Our driver was excellent (sorry I don’t remember his name) I felt very safe with him at the wheel. Plus, he was also knowledgeable and great to be with. Everything was perfect. Manuel provided a very safe driving experience! We were in awe of the towns and his knowledge of Amalfi coast . Positano is beyond the most beautiful place … If you only doing a day trip i would suggest just two towns and don’t stop for lunch !! Enjoy this company very trustworthy and reliable !

We had an emergency change of plans and texted/emailed Viator more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour to cancel. As we were leaving our ship to go to the airport, I received a call from the tour guide advising that he had been waiting for us. This situation was completely avoidable and unfortunate.

Just had the most amazing day touring the Amalfi Coast with See Amalfi Coast Tours. Such beautiful scenery, unlike any other place in the world. From beginning to end we had the best time! A highlight of the day was when our guide Vincenzo booked us a table for lunch at the most amazing restaurant that was absolutely perfect with stunning views of the coast. The roads are very winding but he knew them so well he managed them like they were no problem at all. We loved getting to see so much and having a private driver was SO much better than being on a tour with others, we’ve done both and it’s worth the extra! Vincenzo was very professional but so much fun and he went out of his way to make the day so thoughtful and special for us. It will be a memory we carry with us forever. Thank you again Vincenzo, We hope to see you again some day! :)

I recommend this service! We used for shore excursion at Rome and also Naples. Drivers were very friendly and helpful. Had a great time and would definitely use again.

They were supposed to take us to This 3 places and walk around the town, they did not let us even take a picture on top of the town of positano as they told us we were running late. We booked this tour to tour around positano as it was the main reason on why we took this tour! Super disappointed.

This was our favorite excursion during our trip to Italy, Spain and France. Our guide, Echo, was fun, friendly and a wealth of knowledge. Our family absolutely loved her and we learned so much about the beautiful Amalfi coast thanks to her! Our driver, Giuseppe, was also wonderful and possessed the calm, cool and collected vibe needed to drive on the coast—we don’t know how he does it! They also recommended a pizza shop with an amazing view and took us to the cutest shops along the way, as we requested. The tour ended with a quick visit to a beautiful beach in Amalfi to stick our toes in the sand. It was a truly fantastic day made of great memories thanks to our guide and driver—they were the best!

From the moment we were picked up at our location, Manuel greeted us with open arms. Very warm and courteous. He was so accommodating to our needs and made our experience of the Amalfi Coast an awesome one. Very professional driving making everyone feel safe on the road. Manuel was amazing he made sure we got to see everything and scheduled it perfectly so that we were not stuck in traffic! (Which is very hard to do) He is very charismatic and knowledgeable! 10/10 recommend!

Our friendly and vivacious tour guide, Echo, gave us an amazing full day tour experience of the Amalfi coast. She shared excellent information about the culture of the entire coast, with stops in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We tasted the amazing lemons and fruit, enjoyed Margherita pizza (originating from Naples), shopping, breathtaking views and photo ops. Echo went out of her way to accommodate us and give us an excellent tour! It’s a great overview of the area when you only have a short time. Thank you so much Echo!

We had such an amazing day traveling along the Amalfi Coast. Our driver was Guisseppe (Pippo) and we were blessed to have such a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the towns and gave us information about everything during the drive. This was the perfect tour to end our vacation in Italy.

Our driver was able to customize our tour to our preferences! We were able to maximize our time and see the entire Amalfi Coast and even had time for an outstanding lunch with scenic views from way up high! Cannot recommend this tour and Manuel enough! This tour was outstanding! The tour guide and driver were top notch. They went out of their way to make the most of our limited time. We had a fabulous day. Driver knew what to avoid and what to see. We saw the entire Amalfi coast and it’s breathtaking views. Visited a Limoncello factory and got to put our toes in the sand. You will not be disappointed. Great value for the money. We were a group of 13. The mini bus for the tour provided enough room for all of us. Ask for the guide who used to live in GA. She lives in Italy and speaks Italian and English. She was so funny but yet so knowledgeable and made our tour extra special. I would give her a five star rating! Wish I remembered her name.

Echo picked us up at Beverello and after that the day was spectacular! She answered all of our questions and some we didn’t know we needed to know! We went to all of the hotspots on the Amalfi Coast. The views were amazing! We stopped for lunch at a darling little farm to table. We enjoyed the day so much we booked her again for a tour of Naples two days later! Thank you for opening our eyes to a wonderful adventure!

It poured rain for half the day and we still loved it. Manuel was an excellent guide explaining everything and answering all our questions.

Manuel made our experience way far more special, he was on time, knowledgeable, funny, on top of everything he sang the more memorable songs during the trip, even in other languages, he spoke perfect English and fluent enough in Spanish . My daughter told him he should be a singer it was so great … very very friendly. So great .

There were so many tours to choose from but we are all so glad we picked this company. Manuel was amazing and we met as strangers and feel we have made a friend. Seeing the Amalfi Coast with Carmine was the best highlight of our vacation to Italy. The weather was perfect and Carmine took us to amazing places to get wonderful pictures. He shared his love and passion of his country with my husband and I. Ending the day at a winery put the icing on the cake and was a memory we will cherish forever. Carmine is AWESOME!!!!! This Tour was the highlight of our time in Italy! We have been on a previous tour with Carmine about 5 years ago and we had no doubt that we wanted to go with him again. He was very flexible in customizing our tour to our requests. He scheduled a super knowledgeable and funny archeologist tour guide in Pompeii for us, brought us to the Emerald Grotto for a short boat ride, took us up in the mountains for spectacular views, and, best of all, skillfully drove us up to his friend's restaurant for an unforgettable lunch overlooking Positano!!! We still keep raving about the 12 (yes, 12) plates of appetizers, wine, pasta and desserts that we enjoyed at the restaurant. Carmine also gave us an enthusiastic mini-tour of the restaurant's vegetable gardens. I can't say enough about the numerous stories he shared with us about the area and the interesting things we experienced that you could never see on a big tour. We had gone with Carmine previously and we couldn't wait to see our friend again. We were originally going to go with him on an Amalfi Tour with 6 of our friends on our cruise, but he graciously gave us a heads up that the cruise ships were not allowing private tours due to Covid and we were restricted to only using NCL's shore excursions. We were gutted that we couldn't go with Carmine. Instead, we were determined to go with him on one of our 4 days in Rome. We took the Frecciarosa "Bullet Train" from Termini to Naples and who was there at the station to greet us with surprise Neapolitan Pasteries?? Carmine!! He took us in his brand new immaculate black tour van and off we went! After the best day ever, he safely brought us back to the train station in plenty of time to take the fast train back to Rome. If you pick any other tour guide in the Amalfi Coast, you are making a mistake!

We did see the city from local eyes, we know the history of the city ilittle details along the trip.

The tour was amazing, my tour guide Arturo was knowledgable and fun to chat with all day. I took a private car tour which I was able to book via email on short notice, which was also great if you're someone who plans only a day or two ahead. The ease of being picked up at your door in a nice air conditioned private vehicle really made the day easy. Trying to fit so many places into one day seems impossible, however they made it easy and safe, I would recommend this to everyone who is looking to see the Amalfi Coast but only has limited time. I can't imagine taking a large bus, this was much more personal and way more fun. My driver/guide Arturo turns out was also a traveller at his soul and we had a nice talk about all the places around the world comparing notes on different places and all the fellow wanders we've met along the way. 100% worth booking this tour, I usually do not take any tours but this was WORTH IT.

We were lucky enough to spend three days with Carmine train the Amalfi coast buy land and sea in encompass winetasting Pompeii a secret tour through an amazing group of towns and then we kept it off by a private boat tour for the day seeing the Amalfi coast from the sea it was nothing short of amazing between the scenery the towns the commentary from Carmine and all his insights into the area having grown up there it was just more than we could ever have imagined I would highly recommend Carmine if you’re looking to experience the trim off the coast!

I participated in the Amalfi Coast Tour this past month. I flew in from Germany not knowing what to expect from a COVID-19 standpoint although all the proper precautions were taken and overall the tour was magnificent. Not once did I feel any sort of COVID risk SeAmalfiCoast did a great job! I highly suggest going.

My wife and I spent the entire day having the best guided tour of our entire two week trip to Italy. Carmine created an unforgettable experience. We used Via Amalfi last fall when we were on a cruise stop in Naples. We have never enjoyed a day more. The Amalfi Coast is incredible and the personal touches that Carmine provided set the day apart from any other. We plan to be back next year and will 100% be using Via Amalfi again

We were fortunate enough to go on two tours with Carmine who is by far the best tour guide ever. He took us on his secret tour of Amalfi, Positano & Ravello. Both trips he showed us such magical times and we can’t wait to tour with him again. Carmine is so knowledgeable and took us to all the special magical places that regular tour guides don’t even know about. He took us to the best restaurant on the Amalfi Coast (my favorite in all of Italy) called La Tagliata which overlooks Positano and most of the fruits, vegetable & herbs are grown right on the property. All the food is homemade by the best chef known as “Mama” who we got to meet! The entire tour Carmine made us feel so welcomed & comfortable. He has become a friend and I highly recommend him for any tours that you may be thinking of or better yet any tours you book with Carmine will be exceptional! We plan to schedule another tour with him later this year and next year! We tell all our friends and colleagues about him. Several have booked with and love him as much as we do! Carmine was nothing less than stellar. We were not sure what to expect but Carmine made our Valentine's Day tour just amazing. My husband and I could not believe the amount of knowledge, detail, and thought that was put into making this tour one of a kind and truly special for us. We were able to experience so much beauty, history, and wonder in our tour that it left us wanting more, so we booked him for a second tour the following Monday. The second tour was just as amazing and spectacular; we have decided that when we are able to go back, Carmine is going to be our only tour guide for the duration of our trip.
