Amalfi Coast Tour

Our driver Alessandro was exceptional. He was skilled at navigating the difficult, windy roads and busy traffic of the Amalfi Coast. We were able to explore Positano, Ravello, Amalfi & Minori. Alessandro gave great suggestions for places to eat & drink. We had delicious pastries & coffee at a cafe at Minori thanks to Alessandro. Would definitely advise against driving yourself in this area as the roads are very windy & traffic is crazy. Having a driver means you can relax, enjoy the amazing views & take photos. Highly recommended.

The tour was great, Antonio was very responsive during the booking and Alessandro our driver/ tour guide was excellent. Ravelo is a beautiful town and I really liked it. Positano and Amalfi as well, as expected, they had a lot more tourist.The view of the Amalfi coast is breathtaking. Alessandro recommended a restaurant between Amalfi and Positano, in Praiano and it was the best. The food was excellent and the restaurant was so charming. Thank you Antonio and Alessandro for a beautiful day in Amalfi!

We were picked up at our hotel and then spent the day with our driver. Alessandro spoke excellent English. He was very receptive to our questions and preferences and he made excellent suggestions for what to do at each of the 3 towns we visited. He also made our lunch reservation. We had a car of our own and usually prefer to tour on our own but opted for being driven and we were all so glad we did. Despite being off season, the road was still crowded and parking difficult. It also allowed us to enjoy the views and make the most of our time without the stress! The van was a Mercedes with very comfortable seats and great climate control.

Enzo was absolutely brilliant. He was a great driver and gave so much information about the Amalfi coast. He was patient and very helpful. Thanks to him and his diligent driving we had a great time.

We went to Mt. Vesuvius, Herculaneum, and Pompeii the first day and then an Amalfi Coast the second day. He was so professional, knowledgeable, and interesting!! Our two days with Antonino were two of our best days of our two week trip!! History just came alive with his descriptions. He is not just another tour guide; he’s the best!! In addition, he was on time, his car was immaculate, he was flexible, he was respectful to everyone, and he communicated very well before the trips. He is a kind and gregarious person who has a natural talent for sharing stories and making us all fall in love with Italy!!

5/5!!!! Incredible all around and by far the highlight of our trip to Italy. Our guide, Antonino, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and personable. He customized our tour to our specifications, was very flexible, made a great photographer, and even picked out an awesome spot for lunch. In addition, this tour was VERY competitively priced and an incredible value- over 200 euros less expensive than comparable trips offered by our hotel. Would have no hesitation to book now!

I was very pleased to have booked this tour, rather than attempting to drive myself. Our driver Antonino was very punctual at the pick up and the subsequent collections in the towns. The Mercedes minivan was very clean and comfortable. Antonino had a good knowledge of the area and the history of these towns. The schedule of one hour in each of the stops worked well for us, together with various stops at scenic points to take photographs of the stunning coastline. His recommendation for a restaurant for lunch near Ravello was superb. I would definitely recommend this trip

We had a wonderful guide and driver. They picked us up at our hotel and we returned there, also. We went to Almalfi, Ravello, Sorrento and a few other smaller towns.

We were escorted along the Amalfi Coast by Claudio, and it was an informative pleasure to ride with him. Claudio was personable, humorous, and very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. We were two couples and we challenged him with many questions, all of which he answered with insight and patience. Except the cows, of course, because no one seems to know where the cows are. Claudio also drove carefully and thoughtfully, attentive to car sickness sensitivities possessed by several of our party that could have caused real problems on these windy roads. His easygoing approach was much appreciated when we stopped in the towns...he gave us as much or little time as we desired and was ready to move on when we were. He also provided an excellent restaurant recommendation. Always there for us, never intrusive. We give Claudio our highest recommendation and would not hesitate to ride with him again. Then there was Antonio, who provided transportation both ways between Naples and Sorrento. Antonio led the way, handled the baggage, educated us on all things Italy, and was in general a pleasure to be around. He was on-time with his communications and his service, patient and considerate when our train ran late, and on top of everything all the time. He even gave us a free tour of Sorrento upon our arrival, which provided orientation that helped us a lot during our stay. Overall, A Drive Into the Blue provided excellent customer service start to finish. The company went above and beyond from start of booking process to end of tour. We highly recommend this company!

The views were as good as promised but I could not hear the commentary from the back of the van. The drive back was quite scary.

Discovered " A Drive Into the Blue" on the internet for a private all-day tour from Sorrento to Positano to Amalfi to Ravello and more. Sounded more flexible and still more inclusive than the one offered as a option by our tour company and this is in a very comfortable luxury van instead of a bus - less expensive too since the whole day price quoted was shared by 6 of us. Fabio arrived early at our hotel and our only instruction was that he should include what 6 senior ladies from the US should see along the Amalfi coast that didn't involve a lot of stairs or extended steep hills to walk since we were worn out from two weeks of that! Needless to say the drive along the coastline was spectacular and Fabio's narration throughout the day was full of facts that made the whole experience educational and enjoyable. Stops for photo opps along the way, an hour of shopping and art galleries and churches in expensive Positano, a 45 minute boat tour along the coast of Amalfi (MAMA MIA), a stop at an amazing porcelain pottery factory, a delicious lunch on the deck of a family-owned mountaintop restaurant with views of Ravello and the ocean, a walk-around the town of Ravello where we were able to see cameos being carved, and then - a long overland mountainous, very scenic serpentine road inland from Ravello towards Naples and then south back to our hotel to Sorrento. By the time we got back after our 8 hour tour we felt like we'd known Fabio forever. 14 days touring Italy and this was a memorable highlight of our trip.

Mosimo and Fabio were fabulous drivers and guides. Our tour of the entire Amalfi coast was a spectacular experience from start to finish the only bad part was it had to end. From food to shops to scenery to history to beauty, it was superb

We had a really wonderful time with the private tour of Amalfi coast by Antonino of A drive into the Blue. We ( a company of 3) first visited beautiful Ravello with opportunity to go around town. Then we were driven through the coastal Amalfi. Had time in Amalfi to visit the church and the town. We were treated to fresh orange juice while viewing the beautiful coast. Then it is onto Positano. Antonio even drove us around Sorrento when he realizes our interest. Overall an excellent tour, we saw a lot and was very comfortable with Antonio's safe driving and good english narration of the whole area. The pacing is excellent and we get to visit the towns a well. Overall an excellent tour

We were a group of 8 friends and we all really enjoyed this excursion. The price was great for what you got and the time spent with you. We really liked our driver Bernardo (Bernie). He answered every question we asked, supplied a lot of info, was a good driver (very important on this road) and was a nice guy. The van was a very nice Marcedes, new, clean, roomy, and easy to get in and out of. Beautiful beyond belief!!

A drive into the blue...ennesima conferma di qualità! It is the second experience, after a week, with Antonino and his company. Normally I don't like to review my experiences more than 1 time but this time I waived my decision just to bear witness to the extreme commitment and quality of this tour operator. Tangibile la differenza percepita! Antonino, tour guide and excellent driver and 'literally dedicated to us for a whole day showing us with grace and kindness the wonders of the Amalfi Coast in all its kaleidoscopic shades ... colors, scents, funny anecdotes and beautiful photographs among the breathtaking views. What a show! Joyful experience and full of emotions for both the eyes and the soul. When someone puts their heart into their work and does it for passion and dedication, you can see the difference, believe me!

Antonino is not only a driver but a well of notions. Disponible and prepared accompanied us during our tour of the Amalfi Coast. We visited places that if we were alone with an anonymous rental car we would have missed. How to forget the breathtaking view from the height of Scala, the city that rises on the other side of Ravello. I also had a specific request for a stop in Sal De Riso a Minori that Antonino promptly included in the planning. Or the trip organized through him at the dairy and oil mill il Turuzzello, where we ate freshly made mozzarella and tasted the highest quality oil. Antonino also knows English perfectly, so he is a skilled accompanist for international groups. Van Mercedes 8 places spotless with comfortable leather seats. All in the utmost professionalism and safety (in this Covid-19 period Antonino has always worn a mask and constantly sanitized the environments). Basically, if you are planning your tour of the Coast, call him and plan your trip with him. It can also take you to the gastronomic discoveries of the area and also to Naples. In particular, I recommend pizza in the Sanità da Maddalena district, with dessert with Fiocco Di Poppella and typical Neapolitan dinner on the terrace at Brunella (reservations are required well in advance)
