Amalfi Coast Full Day Trip From Naples

The booking went fine; the transfer from the cruise ship terminal to the meeting place was less than smooth and a bit pricey (€22); apparently the main roads to the meeting place were all blocked because of some event taking place (someone said later it was a race/marathon(?) going on), so we were 9 minutes late to get on the van. Special thanks to our driver, Mario, and our guide, Greta — they were both very professional and excellent!

This tour was well run and the guide Greta had high energy and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. All the stops were great although very short (as expected). You get to see a lot and Mario the driver ensures you do so safely.

Positano, Amalfi and Ravello tour. The itinerary was well paced, and we got to see the best of the coast without feeling rushed. The limoncello tasting in Sorrento was a fun touch, and the views at every stop were incredible. A huge thank you to our driver, Masomo, who expertly navigated those narrow, winding coastal roads with total calm and confidence. We felt safe the entire way, and it let us relax and enjoy the scenery. Our guide, Christian, was knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. He shared great history and local stories along the way and kept the whole group engaged from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Naples. Five stars!

Great trip. Well organized. Thanks Mario, great driving, thanks Christian, nice atmosphere. We didn't wait in line at all. We didn't stress at all. Only downside I would say was the launch time. It was too short imo I ate some pasta on fast forward. But still 5 stars cause the trip was amazing . We stood still mesmerized about the view we just discover it..

We had a great time on this tour of Sorrento, Positano, the Amalfi Coast, and Ravello! Since our time in Naples was limited, this was a great way to see several beautiful places in one day without having to worry about transportation or planning everything ourselves. Our guide, Roberto, was fantastic! He was hilarious, energetic, and kept the mood positive and goofy throughout the entire day. He also shared a lot of interesting information about the different places we visited, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Stefano was our driver and did a great job navigating the roads. The itinerary is definitely fast paced, so keep that in mind. We had about an hour in Sorrento, which felt a little rushed because there was so much to see. The Positano stop was mainly a quick photo opportunity, while we had about 90 minutes in Amalfi. In Amalfi, there’s an option to take a quick boat tour for €15. If you’re interested in doing it, I recommend carrying some cash. We also stopped in Ravello, although we had less than an hour there. While I would have loved more time at each location, the trade off is that you get to experience so many beautiful places in a single day. The bus was comfortable and had air conditioning, which was especially appreciated on a hot day, and there was a USB port available for charging your phone. Overall, I’m really grateful we did this tour. With limited time in Naples, it allowed us to visit Sorrento, Positano, the Amalfi Coast, and Ravello all in one day. We saw so much, learned a lot, and had a lot of fun along the way. If you want to see multiple highlights of the Amalfi Coast in a short amount of time, I definitely recommend this tour!

Aldo, our Driver and Guide, was the highlight of the Amalfi Coast, along with some of the most spectacular sights! Aldo drove us to areas where most tourists didn’t have a chance to experience. It was a great day that won’t be forgotten!

The driver aldo was very friendly polite and knowledgeable. He made the trip very entertaining and educational.

This Amalfi trip departing from Naples was excellent. It was a long drive to Amalfi on an ascending, windy road , but it was sooo worth it. We passed through gorgeous villages and the scenery was breathtaking. Our tour guide Alex was so knowledgeable and told us so many interesting facts about the Amalfi coast. Amalfi town was stunning. I highly recommend it. Amazing views, picturesque and beautiful places. We were very lucky to have Raffaele as our driver and guide. Apart from being an amazing driver -because the roads are extremely narrow and require a lot of attention- he was also an excellent guide. He provided us with all the information we asked for, always with great courtesy but at the same time made us feel "at home". We were all thrilled!

Good trip with wonderful views. Smaller van and group which is so much better. Enjoyed Amalfi so much we stayed and took the train back instead.

It was really back experience by tour operator Napoli City Vision, for giving wrong information in tour details. Day trip to Amalfi coast was including Positano but during tour, it was not covered. Firstly this tour was supposed to start at 11 Am (as per the confirmation voucher), but pick-up was done at 11:45 Am by supplier. When we asked for more time as per voucher, this supplier was always rude, and ignored our request. Also later on why this supplier changes the information on Viator tour description link (which was earlier 1st stop Positano 2nd Amalfi). When we asked for partial refund for giving less time in tours, and also not covering major sightseeing Positano, then it was refused. Overall terrible experience with this tour, and tour operator who was rude all the time.

The guide told us all about the coast but we were unable to get many pictures because the driver went to fast. The tour ended an hour early. We felt we should have been allowed more time in Amalfi as traffic wasn't very heavy.

Interesting, but not wow. Amalfi is very busy and everything has become a business. The romance is gone... The Amalfi stop was only 50 minutes

Serena was helpful, patient, and friendly. The view was amazing even in the bus on the road. Wish we had a little more shopping time but over all it was amazing.

Great experience, knowledgeable guide and skilled driver. Enjoyed the day trip to Amalfi coast. We were picked promptly from Naples train station and arrived back on time.

We were picked up. as scheduled, then taken to lunch. I wish we would have skipped that entire experience. The lunch was in an restaurant that reminded me of a school cafeteria, filled with tourist. We were rushed and told we had to have pizza and pay for our drinks. Water was 4 euros which is the highest I paid in the 20 days I was traveling. The pizza was truly the worst I ever had. Not one waiter came by to offer us anything else.We were told you are having pizza. The driver was very nice and knowledgeable. He stopped to make sure we took nice pictures. Everything except the lunch was excellent. Take this tour wthout the lunch there are many opportunities to enjoy a nice meal in Amalfi during your time there.

Our guide was awesome. He was personable and pleasant. He knew the area well and was knowledgeable and passionate about its beauty and offerings. The van was very comfortable.

The tour to Amalfi was amazing. The driver and the guide made it very enjoyable and we felt at home.

We booked this as a day excursion from a cruise ship as my sister said the Amalfi coast was a beautiful drive. There were only 4 f us and our guide/driver. He was very knowledgeable and it was a great combination of touring and local stops of interest. The scenery is spectacular! Only disappointment s that the lunch was mediocre pizza. Could not recommend the rest more highly!

I would say this. Don’t expect people to be on time for these tours. It’s just not a priority. But once they do come it’s good. I think there are serious communication issues between these contracted entities. Our driver Luigi was magnificent; he could not have been kinder or more considerate, helping us to get to our destination. What a gracious man! Traveling these days is tough. Expect delays and hope for great individuals to make the difference. Luigi is top notch!

We enjoyed this half day road trip down the Amalfi coast with Aldo. He was simply the best guide, driver, and DJ! Everything was simple and easy, from the pick up til the drop off at our hotel. A great experience!

Both the driver Mario and the guide Christian were excellent, the beautiful places are worth it! We only recommend extending the time spent at the various stops; one hour per stop is not enough. Anyway, congratulations!

A truly beautiful experience! We took the tour of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello and were very satisfied. The places are simply wonderful, with spectacular views and landscapes that absolutely deserve to be seen at least once. The tour was well organized and allowed us to visit several locations on the Amalfi Coast in just one day. Positano and Amalfi are enchanting, but Ravello also won us over with its atmosphere and its splendid views. Sorrento was another beautiful stop. An intense but truly pleasant day, full of beautiful memories. An experience I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to discover some of the most beautiful places in Campania. ❤️🇮🇹

Pasquale and Cristian guided us on a visit to one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. Very friendly and professional, punctual and helpful. The transfer and free time were well balanced. The vehicle was excellently air-conditioned given the heat outside. I really appreciated Pasquale's careful driving, since the roads on the coast are very challenging and dangerous .. absolutely recommended.
