They have assigned us the worst room possible. It was looking out at the building's backyard, which smelled terrible, even though we paid so much money for the sea view. When we discussed it with the woman at reception, she didn't care about our dissatisfaction and didn't assign us a new room or do anything. She was ungrateful to the customers. Inside the room, the flush wasn't working properly, and the room was claustrophobic. If you don't want to gamble on your trip, please do yourself a favor and go to another hotel.

I chose this hotel because it looked cleaner than the other options, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. On the very first day, the bedside tables were covered in dust. The hotel room is located in a separate building next door, which was disappointing. Although the room appears to be new, everything feels cheap and low-quality. There is a jacuzzi in the room, but it did not work properly, and when we tried to use it, dirt and debris came out of it. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not worth the money. Given the price, the lack of cleanliness and the poor quality of the facilities were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel and would never stay here again.
While the room seemed quite nice & modern this place does have many short falls. Our room was in a separate building to reception with a view over what can only be described as the busiest street in Naples. Traffic all day and night, a busy bus stop directly under the window (where we could hear every conversation being had by people waiting for the bus). The wall a paper thin to the point of being able to identify the movie being watched by people in the adjoining room. Now my biggest issue. We got a non-smoking room, (I smoke, my partner doesn’t, but I’m respectful and remove myself to outside areas when I smoke.), on NUMEROUS occasions during our stay, when leaving our room, the entire corridor smelt like freshly smoked marijuana & I noticed the janitor very rapidly closing the store room door. 5 minutes later I saw him as what I can only describe as incredibly stoned. I reported this to the girl at reception out of respect for the establishment & other guests, only to be met with a blank expression and a reply of “you can’t smoke in the rooms, you saying you smell it makes me think it’s you smoking inside”. WAIT, WHAT???????? If it was me, why would I report it?? This was day 2/5 it was first noticed and the smell was there EVERYDAY of our stay. 4 star hotel it is not
We booked a three-night stay at the Partenope Relais Hotel Naples and specifically paid for a sea-view room with a balcony. On arrival, we were instead placed in a separate building behind the hotel in a city-view room overlooking an extremely noisy street. After settling into the room, we realised how loud the traffic noise was and went back to reception to ask if we could be moved to the room we had actually booked. The receptionist (who was not wearing a name badge) told us he had no control over room allocations and that we needed to contact the booking agent. My husband simply asked why the hotel couldn’t access our reservation and provide the room we had paid for. At that point, the receptionist became visibly angry. He clapped his hands loudly in an aggressive manner and appeared to threaten my husband. When we insisted that he check our reservation, he accused us of “disrupting the peace” and called the police. We returned to our room, only to receive a knock on the door at around 2:00 a.m. It was the police. After explaining what had happened and showing them our reservation confirming the room we had booked, they proceeded to leave. We felt extremely intimidated, vulnerable and harassed. We are in our 50’s and just wanted a peaceful holiday. To add the hotel advertises its rooms as soundproof, which was absolutely not our experience. The street noise was constant and made it very difficult to sleep. We were forced to leave the hotel as it was extremely uncomfortable to be in the presence to the hotel receptionist, and the noise was unbearable. We lodged a complaint with bookings.com but have heard nothing back from them. We landed up paying two hotels as we had to move. This was an incredibly upsetting experience. Instead of trying to resolve a legitimate booking issue, we were met with hostility and intimidation, and having the police arrive at our door in the middle of the night was completely unnecessary. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.
This stay was a disappointment from start to finish. Over two nights I was placed in three different rooms, which was disruptive and stressful. The first room had an unpleasant odor strong enough to be unlivable. The air conditioning was not working throughout the stay, making it very uncomfortable. The first night was practically sleepless. Instead of promptly moving us to a new room, the staff spent a long time trying to fix the AC, hesitating to make the decision to change the room — by the time we were finally moved, most of the night was already gone. And the disruption didn’t stop there — the very next morning we were forced to move again to a third room, making it impossible to ever settle in or rest properly during the entire stay. The overall cleanliness of the property left a lot to be desired. Most frustratingly, the property is advertised as 4 stars on Booking.com, but this is simply false. On the door of every room there is an official certificate issued by the public authority that clearly states the hotel is rated 3 stars. This is not an opinion — it is a legal document visible to any guest. Future guests deserve an accurate listing, and Booking should verify this. I would not recommend this hotel.
